Author's Notes: Fluffy chapter Lol
Kurt was finishing getting ready while Blaine showered. The house they had rented out was perfect. Annabelle was down the hall so they all had their space. Kurt was happy about that and liked their privacy. Blaine came into the bedroom from the attached bath with a towel around his waist and shirtless. Kurt stared at him and he licked his lips staring up at Blaine. Blaine rolled his eyes and turned away to the dresser he had his stuff in. Kurt sighed and watched Blaine. He was so good looking it hurt. Kurt finished and left the room. They were all heading into the city to look for places to get married or have the party. Kurt didn't want to get married in a church. He knew that much.
“Hurry up,” Kurt said to Blaine and left the room. He went downstairs to see Annabelle watching TV. He sat by her and waited for Blaine to get done. He heard him running down the stairs and over to Kurt. Arms were wrapped around his neck and a kiss was placed on his neck.
“Gross, save it until later you two,” Annabelle joked. Kurt smiled and they set out for the city. Blaine drove them in and into one of the parking garages they had found by the Gershwin Theatre. They got out and walked around the city until their show started. They had looked at two places and Kurt didn't like them at all. Soon though he found a nice little catering place that had rooms for rent next summer. Kurt was in love with the place. They could be married here and have the party here and it would be perfect. It wasn't fancy but it was perfect. The owner showed them their biggest room. It would work for them and the people they planned to invite.
“Blaine I love it. Why don't we take this place? The price is reasonable, it's in the city, and everybody would fit here,” Kurt said. Blaine looked around and sighed.
“I guess. I'm okay with it if you are,” Blaine said.
“If you don't like it Blaine that's fine...we can look at other places,” Kurt said.
“It's only the third place and you want it. I'm just saying what if we find something else?” Blaine said.
“I think this is it. It's not fancy Blaine...it's casual. It'd be good for our family and friends,” Kurt said. Annabelle was standing by the door as they talked. Kurt looked over at her from the corner of his eye every so often and saw she was watching Blaine. It irked him but he let it go.
“Okay...I'll put the deposit down on the room. Just give me the date and I'll go book it,” Blaine said. Kurt gave him the date and kissed his cheek.
“Thanks,” Kurt said. He went back over to Annabelle. She was watching Blaine and then turned to him as he got closer.
“Like what you see?” Kurt asked.
“The place is nice,” she replied. Not the reply he wanted but it was going to be tough to break her if she still like him. Kurt and Annabelle went to the front of the building to wait for Blaine. Him and Blaine needed to get to the theatre for the show.
“You going to be okay on your own while we go?” Kurt asked.
“I'll be fine. I'm just going to explore on my own and see what New York City has to offer,” she said. Kurt smiled and nodded. It offered heart ache. Kurt had never gotten here but he had let it go years ago. He still had a job he liked and it payed decent. Blaine came back to them and said the room was booked. Kurt was excited. The biggest part of the wedding was taken care of. He took Blaine's hand and they made their way to the Gershwin. Annabelle left them when they got there and they got into the theatre.
“Thank you so much for this,” Kurt said. Blaine smiled down at him and squeezed his hand. Kurt wasn't afraid of them showing how much they loved each other here. It was actually accepted here. They were in first mezzanine. Kurt loved the seats. They sat down and waited for the show to start.
“I can't believe you did this for me. You have no idea how much I love it,” Kurt said.
“I'm glad you do. I was going to get different tickets but decided against it and went with this one,” Blaine said. Kurt smiled and kissed Blaine. Blaine smiled and they got as close as they could with the seats in their way. Kurt was singing along to every song that was being played. When “Defying Gravity” started playing Kurt sang along louder than before. He saw Blaine smiling and smiled himself. Kurt finished the song with Blaine staring at him lovingly. Kurt laid his head back on Blaine's shoulder and continued watching the show. Kurt started quietly singing “For Good” and then Blaine joined in. He looked at him shocked and they sang it together. Nobody was giving them looks if they heard them singing.
“I have been changed for good...” they sang together. Kurt was looking at Blaine and the warm color of his hazel eyes. Kurt kissed Blaine and then pulled away reluctantly. They returned to the show smiling and when it ended they made their way out. Kurt called Annabelle to meet them at the theatre to go back to the house.
“Let's go,” Kurt whispered as they got into the house. They said goodnight to Annabelle and shot upstairs to their room. Kurt was laughing when they got into their room.
“Wow...I think she might be scarred a little...at least we saved it for later,” Kurt said. Blaine nodded and leaned over him on the bed and pushed him down onto it. They attached their lips and fought for control. Blaine started to undress him and Kurt worked on Blaine's shirt. Tonight was perfect, for him and Blaine. In a year they'd be married finally and legally. Kurt couldn't be happier.
