Author's Notes: Here's an update and I will have one alter tonight after I get home from work. Thanks for reading! :)
Blaine finished making dinner and set it on the table. Kurt would be home any second from work and he wanted a night to be alone. He made a fresh salad of course for Kurt. He also made Chicken Parmesan like Kurt made it. He had a glass of water also set up for each of them. It was nothing special tonight but he just wanted a decent dinner. He heard the front door being open and he walked into the living room. Kurt came through the front door shaking his head and scowling.
“I hate rain. It wasn't even supposed to rain today and all of a sudden a storm is rolling in...” Kurt said. Blaine chuckled and Kurt looked up at him.
“It's not funny! Look at my hair...” Kurt replied looking into the mirror by the door. Blaine went over to him as he put his bag down.
“You're home early,” Kurt said.
“It was a half day for Dalton. Some sports thing going on and I decided to come home,” Blaine said. Kurt nodded and fixed his hair the best he could.
“Come on...dinner is ready,” Blaine said. Kurt smiled and followed him into the kitchen and sat down at his chair. They took some of the food and Blaine broke the silence.
“How's the guest list coming along for the wedding?”
“About that...” Kurt replied silently.
“What's wrong?”
“I just want something small with having to go to New York. I was think just Carole and my dad, Anna, New Directions, The Warblers or whoever you want, and maybe your mom if you want her there...” Kurt said.
“Wow...I thought you'd go all out with this,” Blaine said surprised.
“I did but then I thought about it. I just want close friends and family there. If there's anybody you want let me know and we can add them,” Kurt replied to him then took a bit of the chicken.
“Well...Jeff, Nick, David, Wes, Thad...those guys. Also...you can invite my mom...I don't know if she'll come but we might as well as invite her,” Blaine said slowly. Blaine was worried she wouldn't bother replying or even showing up. He hoped she would care enough to show but he didn't know. He felt his heart breaking at the thought of her not showing up. Kurt nodded and returned to his food.
When they finished they put the rest away and cleaned the dishes. Kurt handed him a dish to dry and turned the hose on him and sprayed him with it. Blaine yelped surprised and nearly dropped the dish.
“That dish cost a lot of money! Don't drop it!” Kurt shrieked.
“Don't spray me with the hose then! You surprised me!” Blaine defended himself.
“Be prepared for the unexpected,” Kurt said putting the hose back and grabbing the dish to finish drying it. He went to the cabinet and put it away and turned around.
“Like this,” Blaine said as he grabbed the hose and sprayed Kurt. Kurt squealed and put his hands up to block his face.
“Blaine Anderson!” he said. Blaine put the hose back and went over to him.
“Yes?” he asked laughing. Kurt was soaked.
“You are dead...” Kurt said. Blaine smiled and slowly leaned in to kiss him. Kurt's hands flew to Blaine's face and he titled his head. Blaine pulled back and smiled at him.
“Why don't we change and get comfy and go lay on the couch to watch a movie?”
“Sounds good to me,” Kurt said quietly. Blaine dragged him upstairs to change. They both had sweat pants on and Blaine went with no tee while Kurt put one of Blaine's on. Kurt pulled out a DVD from their collection and put it in.
“27 Dresses?” Blaine asked.
“It's okay but that means we definitely won't watch it and we'll focus on each other,” Kurt said winking at him. Blaine's face flushed and he smiled. How did Kurt unwind him so fast? He had no complaints though because it was always good. Kurt hit play and came over to the couch and layed between the back of the couch and Blaine. His head was on Blaine's shoulder and a hand on his abs. Blaine kissed the top of Kurt's head as they watched some of the movie. They heard thunder and saw the lightning and knew a bad storm was coming in. A few seconds later Blaine felt Kurt's hand go down his stomach and Kurt kissed him longingly. Blaine wrapped his arms instinctively around Kurt's neck and deepened the kiss.
“I love you...” Kurt whispered continuing to make out with Blaine. A few minutes later a bright flash of lightning and loud crack of thunder sent them into darkness. Kurt broke away and groaned.
“Dammit...” Kurt said.
“Don't worry about it...it'll come back on,” Blaine said pulling Kurt back to him and kissing him again. Kurt moaned into his mouth and rocked his hips instinctively. Blaine moaned into Kurt's lips as his hand traveled down his stomach further to the band of his sweat pants.
“I love you too,” Blaine said lustily.
End Notes: So...what did you think? :)
