Author's Notes: Managed to get this done tonight...next chapter is iffy on what I plan to do.
Blaine helped Kurt finish up in the kitchen and take all of the food into the dining room. Carole was grabbing the last pot and set it on the table. The doorbell rang and Blaine went for it.

“Annabelle is here finally,” he said. He opened the door to see Annabelle with Ryan. Blaine didn't know he was coming and looked at her.

“Hi Anna!” Kurt said.

“Hi!” she said. Blaine opened the door for them and looked at Kurt.

“Sorry. Guess I forgot to mention to you that he was coming,” Kurt whispered in his ear.

“Forgot my ass,” Blaine muttered and walked after them. He turned to see Kurt glaring at him.

“Be happy for her.”

Kurt walked past him then in a huff and Blaine sighed. Why did nobody else see it? It was all there. Ryan was bad for her. He knew domestic violence when he saw it. In these past few months leading up to Thanksgiving she had changed. She had closed up and gotten quiet whenever Ryan was with them. Blaine hated it but he knew he couldn't do anything without proof and one bruise isn't proof.

“Blaine!” he heard Kurt yell for him. He walked into the dining room and over to his seat by Kurt. Burt was at the head of the table putting Turkey on his plate. Blaine looked over at Kurt and sighed.

“I'm sorry about before. I'll be decent. I promise,” Blaine whispered to Kurt. Kurt nodded and handed him one of the bowls of food. They all ate laughing and sharing stories. They asked how school was for Anna and how work was for him and Kurt. He noticed Ryan was very quiet while eating and Anna was subdued too.

“Kurt...can I please see you in the living room? I need to talk to you,” Blaine said standing up and leaving. He knew Kurt would follow and didn't bother looking back. Everybody but Ryan gave him a curious look. Rachel even got up but he gave her a glare. He turned around to see Kurt glaring at him.

“What is it now?” he asked.

“Do you not notice how she is?” Blaine asked.

“Who?”

“Your sister...she's been quiet all night...that's not like her at all...she's always been talkative and happy. Tonight, she's quiet and it's her first Thanksgiving with all of us. She should be happy,” Blaine said.

“Enough Blaine. I'm done with this. If you're going to be like this don't come back into the dining room until you cool off,” Kurt said turning and leaving. Blaine sighed and sat down running his hand through his hair. He looked down at the floor and sighed. A few minutes later he got up and went back into the dining room. They were all laughing and joking around.

“You okay dear?” Carole whispered to him.

“Yeah,” Blaine said. She looked at him worried and then continued eating. Blaine took another bite and looked over at Anna. She smiled at him and then at Ryan. Ryan gave her a small smile and Blaine looked away. When everybody had finished him and Kurt got the table clean and put the food away.

“Kurt...I'm so sorry about before. I don't want to fight anymore,” Blaine said wrapping his arms around Kurt's waist.

“Who said we were fighting?” Kurt asked. Blaine hoped they weren't. He hated fighting with Kurt. They had never had a bad fight but he thought this one may end up that way.

“It seemed like it...either way I'm sorry,” Blaine said. Kurt chuckled and looked down at him.

“No, we're not fighting and it's okay...I just think they may have had a fight or something. She's only said good things about him to us. So just let it go...okay?”

“Okay...” Blaine said reluctantly.

“Promise?” Kurt asked.

“Promise,” Blaine replied. Blaine kissed him tenderly and pulled away slowly. Kurt was smiling at him and sighed.

“I wish we were alone,” Kurt said.

“Soon,” Blaine replied smiling. He kissed Kurt again and walked into the living room. In the short hallway he ran into Ryan.

“Sorry man...where's the bathroom?”

“Upstairs second door on the right...” Blaine replied. Ryan stared at him and walked away. Blaine was determined to do something about this guy. The rest of the night however went very well and dessert was served by Carole. When everyone finally left Blaine turned to Kurt. He locked the door and made his way over to him.

“About time,” Blaine growled kissing Kurt.

“You have no idea,” Kurt said. Blaine pushed everything from that night out of his mind and focused on his fiance. Blaine started kissing Kurt's neck and then Kurt pulled away and led him up the stairs.
End Notes: Like I said...who knows what the next chapter will hold but it should be good. :)
