“Where are we going?”

“Finally! I was wondering when you were going to ask,” Kurt replied. He heard Blaine laugh and he smiled over at him. The gentle squeeze on his hand on the console made his smile brighter.

“Seriously...”

“There's a family owned amusement resort down here. Rachel and I used to come here in college.”

“Really?”

“Yep. I hope you like it,” Kurt said. He made a turn and followed the road down to a cleared area where cars parked. Kurt was directed down a row to where he could park his Honda. Blaine was looking out the windows to see the park. It was surrounded by trees so you couldn't see a lot.

“Let's go,” Kurt said getting out. He locked his car as Blaine got out. They made their way to each other and Blaine put his arms around Kurt's waist. He pressed a gentle kiss to Kurt's lips and Kurt smiled. They let each other go and laced their fingers together. They made their way towards the park. Kurt was happy that they didn't charge admission but he was going to pay for Blaine's day pass. He led them to the ticket booth and got them their passes.

“So, what would you like to do first?” Kurt asked.

“I don't even know...” Blaine replied.

“Come on...we can go on the train and just relax before we get into the thrill rides.”

So they waited thirty minutes to get on the train that pulled them through half the park. Kurt's favorite part was when it went deep into the amusement resort and the deer would be around with their fawns. It went back to the station and they got out. Kurt led him back to the spacier area of the park that housed two coasters. Kurt had last ridden with Rachel and he hoped Blaine rode.

“Kurt? Are you thinking what I'm thinking?” Blaine asked. Kurt giggled and they made their way for the line. They showed their bands and made their way up to the station. The coaster was leaving the station as they got in line. Kurt went right for the front and Blaine was right beside him. When they finally got in their fingers laced back together as they circled for the lift hill.

“I love this coaster so much,” Kurt said.

“I've never been here,” Blaine replied.

“Then enjoy!” Kurt said as they went over the hill. A sloppy kiss was placed on his cheek and he laughed. After the ride ended Kurt looked over at Blaine. He had made sure Blaine hadn't used hair gel for the day. His curls were all over now.

“I cannot believe I listen to you! Look at my hair!” Blaine said in the bathroom a few minutes later.

“I think you look adorable,” Kurt said giggling wrapping his arms around Blaine's waist from behind. They spent the day going on all of the thrill rides and cooled off on the smaller water ride. As the sun set they got on the giant wheel. They sat next to each other. Blaine's arm was around Kurt's shoulders and his left hand was holding Kurt's.

As they hit the top Blaine let his hand go and placed it on Kurt's jaw. Kurt turned to look at him confused. Blaine just looked at him with a silly smile on his face and his eyes brightened by the suns last rays.

“What?” Kurt asked.

“I can't fight these feelings Kurt...I want you to be my boyfriend...I want you to go out with me. I want this to be us years from now...”

“Blaine...”

“Kurt...I want this...and I know you do too...”

“Would you shut up?” Kurt asked. He noticed how Blaine's smile and the light in his eyes faded and he felt awful for saying that. He turned and placed his hands on either side of Blaine's face and kissed him.

“I want to be yours...so bad. I'm just scared...I'm worried. I don't want you to be here and one day be gone...”

“I won't do that to you...I want to be yours and only yours.”

“I want that, too,” Kurt replied and kissed him once more. He let Blaine got and this time rested his head on Blaine's shoulder as Blaine's arm wrapped around him.

“You make me happy, Kurt. I can't wait to spend more time with you,” Blaine said. Kurt smiled and closed his eyes.

“Neither can I...” Kurt said. Just don't prove me wrong about you, he thought. When they got off the ride they got a funnel cake to share and walked around the park some more. Kurt looked over to his side to see a young couple with a little girl jumping around. He smiled at them and they returned the smile back to him. But as they walked more some guy gave them a dirty look. Blaine's free arm went around Kurt's waist and they moved faster.

“I can't stand people,” Blaine said.

“Neither can I...but it's life...”

“I know...”

When they got near the kiddie rides area Kurt saw another gay couple. They were holding hands and the one was waving to a little girl on the ride. She waved back to them with a big grin on her face.

“Cute, isn't it?”

“Yeah...” Kurt replied.

“One day...” Blaine said. Kurt turned to look at him surprised.

“I'm so sorry...I wasn't thinking...it's just...I can't explain myself this time.”

“I understand...if things work out and we manage to stay together...you want a family. I know. So do I,” Kurt said. Blaine looked back at him smiling once more.

“One day at a time,” Blaine said.

“One day at a time,” Kurt mumbled as he rested his head on Blaine's shoulder. They threw the paper plate away and made their way for the parking lot to leave.

“Tonight was amazing, Kurt. Thank you, so much,” Blaine said as they got in the car.

When they got back to their apartment, Kurt offered for him to stay. Blaine accepted and this time was smart and had an overnight bag stashed in Kurt's closet. They laid down curled up together. Kurt had his head on Blaine's chest listening to the steady beating of Blaine's heart. A kiss was pressed to his head and he smiled contently drifting off to sleep.
