“What are you laughing at?” Blaine asked feigning anger. Kurt let him in and took in his appearance. Blaine had the Cinderella Prince Charming look with the maroon pants and white shirt on with the sash and the medal. His hair was gelled back but not plastered to his head and Kurt loved the look.
“I will say though your ass looks amazing in that costume,” Kurt said laughing.
“And yours will look amazing in one of these,” Blaine said holding out two bags.
“What?”
“Did you really forget? Today is Halloween. A friend of mine invited us to a party he's holding and I wanted to surprise you,” Blaine said. Kurt gasped and put his hands to his face embarrassed.
“You did forget!”
“Yes, I did. Shut up,” Kurt said hitting him playfully.
“Let's go! You have either Prince Eric or Peter Pan to choose from,” Blaine said. Kurt looked at the two bags and sighed.
“Fine,” Kurt said going through the two bags and picking the one he wanted.
“Make yourself comfortable. You know where everything is,” Kurt said as he walked back to his bedroom to shower and change. When he came back out he felt self conscious. Blaine stood up and looked back at him. A grin spread across Blaine's face and he walked over to Kurt and kissed his forehead.
“Put the hat on...” Blaine teased. Kurt shook his head and put the hat on completing his Peter Pan. Blaine's hands rested on his hips and he look down into the hazel eyes of this amazing man.
“Let's go! I need a good drink and we can spend time together,” Blaine said. Kurt locked up his apartment and they left. Blaine drove them outside of the city to a house that was already packed. Blaine parked and they walked down the road back to the house. Their fingers laced together like always as they walked. Blaine walked right in pulling Kurt along.
“Blaine!”
Kurt looked to see a tall man pulling a shorter man along with him. Kurt didn't know who he was but he guessed this was the host of the party.
“Andrew! Matt!” Blaine said excited. They hugged and Blaine turned to Kurt. Andrew smiled at him and then his smile faded. Was this the Andrew that Blaine had gone to the wedding with?
“Kurt, this is Andrew and his boyfriend Matt. This is the Andrew that I joined with at your...” Blaine said cutting himself off and looking down uncomfortably. Kurt closed his eyes and shook his head. He held his hand out to Andrew who shook it.
“Uh...look we need to go. We'll try and talk to you later. I have some things I need to talk to you about,” Andrew said to Blaine. Kurt sighed as he left and he looked over at Blaine.
“I wasn't thinking...I'm sorry Kurt...”
“It's okay. Don't beat yourself up about it. It's been months Blaine. I'm getting better...” Kurt said. Blaine nodded and Blaine led him through the house. Blaine picked up two beers holding one out to Kurt. He took his and they maneuvered through the house. They stood on the edge of the dancing crowd and danced together. Blaine left him to use the bathroom and so he went to get himself another beer. He picked up one of the red cups and took a drink.
“Kurt?”
He froze as he was turning and looked behind him. He felt everything in him break and he felt the tears building up. Ryan was standing behind him...alone. Kurt wanted to move, tried to, but he was frozen. Ryan moved closer to him and put his hand on Kurt's arm.
“I've missed you so much...and your ass looks so good in those pants,” he said smirking. Kurt slapped his hand away and glared at him.
“Don't touch me...” Kurt said.
“Kurt, babe, please. I didn't mean to hurt you like that. It wasn't my intention...”
“Do not call me babe. I'm not your babe. I don't care what excuses you come up with or what you say. We're through.”
“Kurt? Are you okay?” he heard as an arm wrapped around his waist. He let himself melt into the soft touch but felt the person tense up. He looked to see Blaine's usual soft hazel eyes now holding nothing but anger and hate.
“Are you serious? You started fucking him?”
“His life is none of your business. You made that known when you walked out on him,” Blaine said.
“Come on, Kurt. Are you serious? He's a fucking pussy. You could do so much better...you need a real man and you know I can give you that,” Ryan said. Kurt felt the anger rise in him and before he could stop himself he threw his hand out. His beer ran down Ryan's face and over his costume.
“You fucking asshole!” Ryan said jumping at him. He moved back out of the way but Blaine stepped in front of him and punched Ryan. Kurt grabbed Blaine and moved him away from Ryan. Andrew must have seen them together because he joined them and held Andrew back.
“Get out of here Blaine!” Andrew yelled. Blaine grabbed Kurt's hand and pulled him along. Kurt didn't pay attention to his surroundings until they'd gotten to the car and Blaine was in front of him. Kurt leaned back against the door and took his stupid hat off. He ran his hand through his hair and sighed.
“Are you okay?”
He looked up into Blaine's eyes that held nothing but concern for him. Kurt nodded and worried his bottom lip. He let the tears finally fall and Blaine's arms wrapped around him. Blaine held him closely murmuring.
“I'm so sorry...I didn't know he'd be here. I should have been smarter...I'm so sorry. I'm so, so sorry...I shouldn't have even left you alone,” Blaine said. Kurt shook his head and pulled away from Blaine.
“Are you okay?” Kurt asked taking Blaine's hand in his.
“I'll be fine. He suffered more than me.”
“Good,” Kurt said.
“I'm proud of you though. I think that was amazing what you did. I would have laughed but things got a little out of hand.”
“Well, you can laugh now,” Kurt said.
“I don't want to though. Not until I know you're okay...”
“I'll be fine.”
“Good...I hope so,” Blaine said kissing him.
“You know...you really are my Prince Charming. You saved me and you protect me. You make me feel loved and happy and I can't see myself with anybody but you,” Kurt said playing with the fake medal on Blaine's outfit.
“And you, you're my Prince Charming. I love you so much Kurt,” Blaine said kissing him once more, hands resting on Kurt's hips now. Kurt smiled into the kiss and wrapped his arms around Blaine's neck.
“We're so cheesy sometimes,” Kurt said laughing.
“I know. Come one, let's go back to my place. You can spend the night,” Blaine said. Kurt nodded as Blaine opened the door for Kurt. Kurt got in and buckled himself in. Blaine got in the driver's seat and started the car. The drive was silent as they went back into the city. They got into Blaine's apartment and Kurt got his overnight bag out and changed. He joined Blaine in his bedroom and laid down next to him.
“Thank you for the costume...thank you for tonight even though it got a little hectic,” Kurt said.
“Anytime. I love you, babe,” Blaine said.
“I love you, too. Good night,” Kurt replied. As soon as he knew Blaine was out he let the tears fall once more. How he got Blaine, he didn't know. He was so thankful for him but just wished he would never see Ryan again.

That was amazing!! I'm sorry but I had to do it! Actually, I wasn't going to put Ryan in this chapter but then I was like..nah! Add away! Lol.
Poor Kurt ;( Hopefully he'll get over his abandonment issues and realize he wants to commit to Blaine
Eventually!
