Author's Notes: “Let's go Kurt or we'll be late!” Blaine yelled from the living room. Kurt was still working on his hair. Blaine sat on the couch defeated. Nothing would ever change Kurt and how long it took him to get ready.

“I'll be down in a minute!” he yelled back. Blaine sat back against the couch and sighed. He had found one of his best suits for tonight in his closest, but of course Kurt had bought a brand new one for the event. Blaine didn't say anything about it, he knew Kurt was excited for tonight and wanted it to be wonderful. Blaine was damn sure that it would be wonderful. It would be perfect; he'd do anything for Kurt.

“Okay! I'm ready!” Kurt came down the stairs and went straight to Blaine. They kissed softly, on the lips. Blaine hated it when he did that and Kurt walked away not letting him return it. Kurt looked back at him smiling, teasing almost. Blaine hated that even more…Kurt knew they couldn't do anything at the moment. Blaine studied Kurt in the new suit. He looked amazing in it and thoughts kept running through his mind about later on tonight. What a tease. He looked up to see Kurt waving his arms in his face.

“Are you ready?” Kurt asked laughing. Blaine smiled and walked over to him.

“Yes, I am,” Blaine said kissing Kurt back more feverish than he did before. Kurt returned the kiss just as much. They reluctantly pulled away from each other.

“Wait until later...I'll make sure you enjoy this day,” Blaine said, his voice dipping an octave lower.

“Can't wait...” Kurt said in that voice that drove Blaine nuts. They walked out to the taxi that was going to take them to Marseille. Blaine had made the reservations for the two of them a while ago. You needed to if you wanted anywhere near to a decent seat. They held hands the whole ride there and Kurt had his head on Blaine's shoulder. Blaine would never give up the feeling of having Kurt beside him like this. But just as soon as it started, the cabby slammed on the breaks and knocked him rom his thoughts. They were at the restaurant already.

“I hope you like this place,” Blaine said after being escorted to their seats.

“Like it? I love it. It's amazing and this Martini is wonderful,” Kurt said.

“They were both worth it,” Blaine said taking a sip of his Cocktail. Kurt sat back in his chair and looked away.

“I'm sorry for how busy I've been,” Kurt said. Blaine looked up and saw the pain in Kurt's eyes. When Kurt hurt, Blaine hurt.

“Don't be. You have to work and once the end of February rolls around you'll be done and we can start planning the wedding,” Blaine said trying to help Kurt feel better. He hated this mood.

“I just feel bad. This is going to be our life. I'm always going to be busy and have something to do and be leaving you alone. You're going to be alone for a while now...I don't like leaving you alone. Also, I could start the wedding planning with you now and give up the play,” Kurt said.
The waiter brought over their appetizers. The waiter placed the Mediterranean Salad in front of Blaine, and the Frisee Salad in front of Kurt. Blaine was upset that Kurt would be gone most of the day but he'd be okay. He'd have him when he came home. He'd be home late and Blaine would be sitting up waiting to make sure he came home safe but he'd be waiting. Also, he was going to go to as many shows as he could. Kurt looked more upset than before and Blaine reached over the table for his hand.

“Kurt, don't you dare give up this play or any other. You do what you want to do and what you love to do and don't worry about me. I'll be fine. Being away for a while and being out late comes with the profession. Please don't worry about that tonight; the night has just started anyway. Enjoy it and as soon as you're done with the play we can have another night like this and see another musical. We can go to another place or come back here. And I'm taking you to see The Phantom of The Opera next time. You'll love it,” Blaine said, smiling at Kurt who finally seemed to break and give him a small smile back.

“I won't give up on my dream. I promise you that. Still, I just feel bad and wish I could be with you. It's something I guess I need to get used to when it starts to pick up. It's going to hurt to come home to a dark quiet apartment and remember that you're sleeping and try to not wake you,” Kurt said sadly.

“I'm going to be waiting up every night for you so you don't need to worry about that. And don't tell me not to wait up because I will no matter what. Now stop worrying and eat,” Blaine said. Kurt just gave him that look and then looked at his menu. Blaine had his item picked already. Kurt didn't know what to get for dinner though.

“Do the Pasta Pesto. It sounds like you'd like it,” Blaine said. Kurt looked for it in the menu and nodded.

“I guess so...what are you getting?” Kurt asked.

“Bouillabaisse. It's a seafood dish,” Blaine said. Dinner was really good. Blaine had chose good because Kurt loved his dish. He decided to get another Cocktail and Kurt got one too. After they finished dessert Blaine called for the check and paid for them. Kurt hated that he paid for everything but Blaine was very persuasive in the dealing. They got a cab to take them to the theater down the road. Kurt wrapped his arm through Blaine's and put his head on his shoulder.

“Tonight has been wonderful so far,” Kurt said to him. Blaine smiled and kissed the top of Kurt's head. He loved every minute with Kurt tonight... and always. When they got to the theater Kurt insisted to pay the cab fare but Blaine wouldn't have any of it. Kurt kept protesting but Blaine had already paid for it. Kurt didn't always win. They went right up to their seats from there. Blaine smiled at how much Kurt was acting like a kid in a candy store.

“I know they're not the best of seats but we get a good view. I thought you would prefer up here than down there. I'm sorry if the view isn't that good,” Blaine said.

“It's just fine. I would rather be up here and be able to see,” Kurt said. The view was actually really good and Kurt was absolutely enjoying it.

“Enjoy the show,” Blaine said kissing Kurt's forehead. He could not wait to get home that night with Kurt.

“I will most definitely try to. You enjoy the show too,” Kurt replied to him. Kurt had his arm through Blaine's and his head on his shoulder. They sat like that the whole time and Blaine eventually put his head on Kurt's. He could hear Kurt lightly singing along to all the songs, especially when Elphaba belted out “Defying Gravity.” Blaine loved Kurt's voice. Every note he hit was pure magic. He'd never get tired of hearing it and if they ever had kids he'd make sure Kurt would sing to them. He really needed to stop looking forward and live for the moment and not tomorrow or five years from now. The thoughts always made him smile though. He relaxed and got everything off of his mind and enjoyed the rest of the show with Kurt.

After the musical, they decided to walk around New York City for a while. It was cold, but well worth it. They held hands walking down the streets. Blaine couldn't describe the feeling of holding Kurt's hand. It made him feel...complete and utterly happy. They walked over to Times Square. After taking in all the flashing lights, they continued to walk, hand-in-hand, over to Rockefeller Plaza's ice rink. Taking a seat on one of the benches overlooking the rink, Blaine pulled Kurt into his arms. He then put his head on Kurt's shoulder and stared at the color changing fountain below. Kurt turned his head to Blaine and kissed him. Wanting more, Blaine wrapped his arms around Kurt's neck and started to deepen the kiss. His hands started to wander down Kurt's chest to rest on his hips. The kissing got more intense as Blaine tightened his grip and pulled Kurt on top of his lap. In doing so, they both could feel the other's erections straining against their jeans. A very quiet moan escaped Blaine's lips as Kurt instinctively rocked his hips down.

Upon hearing this Kurt stalled his hips and whispered unsteadily into Blaine's ear, “Maybe we...should get back to the-e...house to continue with this.”

“Mhmmm,” Blaine said smiling and kissing him once more before detaching his lips from Kurt's.

With Kurt still in his lap, Blaine stood up and placed him on the ground. They stole one last glance at each other before lacing hands and all but running to find a taxi.

Blaine threw a $20 bill at the cabbie as the car pulled to a stop in front of their house, not waiting, or caring, about the change. Both boys sprinted to the front door. Kurt whipped out his keys and fumbled, trying to unlock the door.

“Kurt...” Blaine growled at him. Clearing his lust filled mind for a moment, Kurt was able to successfully unlock the door. As soon as they crossed the entryway, Blaine slammed the door shut, locked it, and pinned Kurt against the same door, locking his mouth back onto Kurt's. He kept him pinned against the door. Kurt cupped Blaine's face and kissed him tenderly, yet with force. Blaine's hands flew to Kurt's hips and pulled him closer. Kurt's hands moved down to Blaine's chest and he balled them into fists and held onto Blaine. Blaine picked him up, Kurt’s legs wrapping around his waist and Blaine carried him as fast as he could up the stairs to their bedroom, all without breaking the kiss. Throwing them both on top of the bed, Blaine jumped onto Kurt, straddling him as he bit him gently on the neck, sucking tiny hickeys here and there. He felt Kurt shudder and smiled. When he was done on his neck he started to unbutton Kurt's shirt and kissed down his neck, gently lapping at each nipple, making them hard and down to Kurt’s naval.

“My turn,” Kurt said seductively as he threw Blaine off of him and pinned him to the bed. Kurt began the same treatment on Blaine’s neck all while using his hands to fumble Blaine’s shirt off. Blaine loved how Kurt could make him unwind so fast and easily. They both then simultaneously worked at each other’s belts. Kurt would occasionally “slip” and brush Blaine’s obvious hard-on with his palm. Somehow it made Blaine even harder.

“I love you more than anything...more than life itself...I'm never leaving you...I never could,” Blaine said against Kurt's lips after kissing him again.

“I love you too...now stop talking and do what you do best,” Kurt said. Blaine smiled and started kissing Kurt again. This great night, really was going to be even better than both of them had imagined.
