The next day in the choir room was torturous. Rachel came in bouncing around and had a CD in her hands. She stood in front of the class smiling broadly.

“I have Paloma Gallo's last CD. I think we should focus on these songs. She said in interviews they were her songs that she had written about her life. One of them is about giving up something she loved and I think we should do that as our group number. We've all given up things, it's a more personal song,” Rachel said. Blaine rolled his eyes and glared at her. Kurt's hand reached over and took his, squeezing his hand comfortingly.

“Rachel? Why don't we skip it for today. We could do it the week the CD comes out,” Kurt said. She shook her head and looked down.

“No, because I got Mr. Schue to agree to let us sing her new CD that week,” Rachel said. Blaine looked down at the floor and sighed. Maybe he could make it through this week and play sick the other week.

“There's enough of us to each have a song. So take your pick now! And prepare to perform this week!” Rachel said, even more bubbly if it was possible. Everybody had picked a song, Kurt taking I'll Hold You, and Blaine got the last song, Letting Go. Rachel took her seat and the group discussed their songs. Schue came in a few minutes later looking at the class excitedly.

“Guys, we have two very important people here today. Please, be on your best behavior.”

Blaine looked over at Kurt confused. They hadn't know about anybody coming in today. Schue left the room for a minute and came back with a tall man and woman a few inches shorter than him. The man was tall and lean with muscle with black wavy hair and bright blue eyes. The woman at his side was shorter but just as lean. She was also older but still looked in her twenties and was gorgeous in the red dress she wore. She also had long curly black hair but her eyes were a simple hazel. Blaine's jaw dropped but he quickly snapped it shut.

“Everybody, this is Garret Anderson and his wife Paloma Gallo. They're originally from Ohio and were on vacation here.”

“Bull shit,” Blaine muttered knowing there was more. He looked down, hoping to avoid the curious gaze the woman gave everybody. She walked in front of the class and crossed her arms.

“Now, that is no way to welcome family,” the woman said, Italian accent heavy as she scolded. Everybody looked at her confused until Blaine looked up. Her pointed gaze was on him with one hip sticking out and a hand now resting on it. Everybody was looking at him curious and surprised. Rachel's jaw dropped as she looked at him.

“Welcome back to Ohio,” Blaine said trying to sound excited.

“Blaine!” Rachel said. He rolled his eyes and looked away from her gaze.

“I'm so sorry Ms. Gallo. Welcome back to Ohio. I'm your biggest fan. You are amazing,” Rachel said. Blaine looked up at Rachel appalled and then grabbed his messenger bag and slung it over his shoulder. He walked towards the door that wasn't occupied by anybody.

“Blaine Wyatt Anderson, don't you dare walk out of this room,” the woman said as he walked in front of her.

“Watch me,” he replied and made his way to the door.

“Ms. Gallo...how do you know him?” Rachel asked.

“Young lady, and class, Blaine is our son. He decided to stay back in Ohio instead of moving in with us,” Paloma said. Blaine turned to look back at her, scowling. How dare she come in here and tell the whole class! She never cared to come here before! Why now?

She walked up to him and smiled as she hugged him tightly. She pulled back and rested her hands on his arms. He could see through the fake smile and the contempt she held for him.

“How are you doing? It's been so long. I wish you would answer your phone but you must be busy with school,” she said.

“Yeah, packed with school work,” Blaine said.

“Honey! Let it go for now. Your dad and I are on vacation and just want to spend time with you,” she said.

“Can I bring a guest?” he asked.

“Who? A lovely young lady?” she said looking back at Rachel. Rachel smiled at Paloma eagerly but Blaine shook his head.

“No, my boyfriend, Kurt. I told you about him when we started going out,” Blaine said.

“Oh, honey, I don't know if a guest would be a good idea. There's no need for him to get caught up in this celebrity life,” she said looking back at him. He bit his bottom lip and turned away from her.

“Whatever,” he said. Once outside at his car he heard his name being yelled. Kurt was behind him looking concerned.

“Are you okay?” Kurt asked.

“I wish,” he replied.

“Blaine...does she know?”

“I emailed her telling her I had fallen in love with an amazing guy. She never got back to me. Once I told my dad he was happy and wished me the best. Cooper did too,” Blaine said. Kurt's fingers laced with his and Blaine looked down.

“It's disgusting how she told me no because of the celebrity life. She wanted Rachel to go until I told her about you!” Blaine said, throwing his bag into the back of his car.

“I know...I'll stay at your house if you want. My dad and Carole are in D.C and Finn won't rat me out, I have too much on him,” Kurt replied smiling.

“Thanks. It'd mean a lot if you did. My grandparents won't mind,” Blaine said.

“I'll be there,” Kurt said kissing him softly.
