Kurt and Cooper, with Blaine behind, walked into the mess that was Scandals. It wasn't his favorite place but he always came for Cooper. Cooper went right for the bar and Kurt trailed along. Blaine was beside Cooper ordering a drink for himself.
“Nothing for you?” Blaine asked.
“I don't drink when we go out,” Kurt said.
“Have something...I'll drive back,” Blaine said. Kurt shook his head quickly.
“It's okay...really.” Cooper got his beer and turned to Kurt.
“Let's have some fun,” Cooper said leading him to the dance floor. They started dancing together and he watched as Blaine sat at the bar alone. His heart yearned to go get the boy and bring him over but he knew Cooper wouldn't like that. After Cooper's third beer he started to really notice the change in him. Cooper had started kissing along Kurt's neck messily. Kurt laid his head on his should and exposed his neck for him more.
“Okay hot shot...go have a seat,” Kurt said leading him over to the bar. Blaine was still there. He still had his first beer with him too.
“Why aren't you drinking?” Kurt asked.
“Because, Cooper gets wasted out of his mind...I thought you would have enough trouble with him so I didn't want to drink,” Blaine replied.
“I see...and yeah he does get really wasted. I'll be right back,” Kurt said walking towards the restrooms. When he got in he leaned against the wall and ran his hand through his hair. As the door opened he watched Blaine walk in.
“Are you okay?” Blaine asked. Kurt looked at him uncertain and then looked at the wall. Blaine came over to him and stood in front of him. Those hazel eyes bore into his and he felt himself melt into them. The next thing he knew his hands were on Blaine's face and his lips pressed to his. It wasn't a hard or needy kiss...it just was. It was what he hadn't felt with Cooper for so long. Blaine pushed him away lightly and looked at him surprised.
“I'm so, so sorry...” Kurt said running out of the bathroom back to Cooper, his boyfriend. Cooper was smiling at him and Kurt took a drink of his beer hoping to get rid of the taste of Blaine. Cooper looked at him happily and took his beer back and kissed Kurt. Kurt feared he'd know he had kissed someone else but Cooper just leaned in more and Kurt tilted his head. The next thing he knew tongue was involved and things were getting heated between them. Kurt was happy it was this way...he couldn't think about kissing Blaine but the whole time he was kissing Cooper he saw Blaine.
“Hey guys...I'm going to go sit in the car. I'm not feeling to good,” Blaine said.
“Sure...I don't know when we'll be out but here's the keys,” Cooper said. Blaine took them and looked down awkwardly and walked away. Kurt watched him go. He was a horrible human being for doing that to Blaine. He wouldn't do this to Cooper.
They danced and made out for a few more hours. They made their out to the car slowly. Cooper's hand was tightly around Kurt's. Blaine sat in the back of the car laying down. Kurt opened the door and took the keys from Blaine's hands. Blaine watched Kurt get Cooper into the car and then walk over to the driver's side of the car and get in.
“Are you feeling better?” he asked.
“A little,” Blaine replied. Kurt nodded and turned back around. Kurt started the car and pulled out onto the highway. The drive back to Cooper's apartment felt like forever. Kurt just wanted to get in the house and into bed and sleep until Blaine left. When they did get back Cooper went right for the bedroom.
“I'm going to grab a quick drink,” Kurt said and kissed Cooper. He knew Blaine would watch him do it and felt a little happy he did. He didn't want to torture the kid but he knew he needed to get his point across that he was with Cooper. He knew Blaine would follow him into the kitchen and sighed when he heard him speak.
“So...what happened earlier?” Blaine asked.
“It was a moment of weakness,” Kurt replied simply.
“I don't think it was. I think you actually meant to do it...”
“I didn't. It was nothing. Forget it. I'm with Cooper,” Kurt said.
“You just don't want to be like the others. You think you aren't but you are...” Blaine said. Kurt was starting to get pissed off with Blaine.
“I'm not like them and I will never be like them,” Kurt said. Blaine looked at him unconvinced and sighed.
“I won't tell him,” Blaine said.
“I didn't ask you not to,” Kurt replied.
“I could tell him and watch it all fall,” Blaine said.
“Then you're no better than they were. And go ahead, tell him. I'll just say you were drunk and kissed me,” Kurt replied bitterly.
“I won't tell him. I'm not like that and if you think I am then I was wrong about you,” Blaine said scowling.
“Wrong about me?”
“I thought you were different. I thought you really did love him,” Blaine replied.
“I do! I want him...I want to be with him,” Kurt said.
“Then say you love him,” Blaine said shrugging his shoulders.
“I...I love him,” Kurt replied shakily.
“You don't...”
“I do!”
“You don't! And if you did you wouldn't have stuttered on that and then you wouldn't have said it so unconvincingly,” Blaine said pointing a finger at him.
“I...I do though...I do,” Kurt said feeling the tears sting his eyes. Blaine walked closer to him and looked him straight in the eyes. Kurt felt his breath catch and he smelled Blaine's cologne around him. Once again he found himself with his lips pressed to Blaine's...and them moving towards the hall way.
