Kurt was unpacking one of the boxes when arms snaked around him.

“How about...you stop what you're doing and we eat and then you know...” Blaine said lightly nipping his neck. Kurt shuddered underneath him and turned around and placed a kiss to his lips.

“How about...no?” Kurt said.

“Why?” Blaine whined.

“So that I can get done and not have to worry about putting this off...let me finish here and then we can do whatever you want,” Kurt said smiling. Blaine smiled at him and kissed him once more.

“Well, either way I brought you coffee,” Blaine said gesturing at the dresser. Kurt's coffee mug sat there waiting for him. Kurt smiled and made his way over. He grabbed the mug and started to drink some.

“I'm going to go run a few errands and meet a friend for lunch. I'll see you later, okay?” Blaine said.

“Sounds good. I'll finish up here and clean up around the apartment. I'll make us food later on,” Kurt said. Blaine smiled and kissed him once more and then left. Kurt sighed and put his mug down. He finished with this box and saw the little blue Tiffany's box in the bottom of the box. He picked it up and opened it revealing the little ring he had bought.

“Soon...” Kurt said. He closed the box and put it in one of his drawers, hiding it in the corner. He finished with two other boxes and went out into the living room. He looked out one of the windows, down into the city.

As the evening rolled around Kurt started getting ingredients to make dinner. The ringing of his phone filled the dead quiet of the apartment. He walked into the living room searching for his phone. When he found it he looked at the screen. He didn't know this number.

“Hello?” he asked.

“Mr. Hummel?” a woman's voice asked.

“Yes?”

“My name is Nurse Mien. You were listed as an emergency contact for Blaine Anderson.”

“Where is he? Is he okay?”

“He's here at the Hospital. He was brought in about ten minutes ago,” she replied.

Kurt swore his heart stopped beating and everything fell out from below him.

“What happened?”

“He appears to have been attacked. He's unconscious at the moment. You might want to get over here,” she said.

“I'll be there as soon as possible.”

Kurt hung up his phone and dialed Rachel's number.

“Hi, Kurt! I hope he didn't kick you out already,” she said. Kurt bit his lip suddenly regretting calling her.

“Listen,” he heard the crack in his voice and realized he was now crying, “Blaine was taken to the hospital...he was attacked while he was out. Can you please meet up with me at the hospital?”

“Oh no! Kurt, I'm so sorry! I'll meet you right outside the hospital,” Rachel said.

“Thank you,” he said and ended the call. He ran into the kitchen turning the stove off and leaving everything on the counter. He managed to grab his keys and get out of the apartment. He got in his car and drove the few minutes hoping that Blaine would be okay.
