Kurt woke up with Cooper's arm still around him. He moved slowly so he didn't wake him up and left a note saying he was going down the street for coffee. When he got changed and ready to go he took off. It was a chilly morning but not to the point where it was too cold. He still opted to take his car though. When he pulled into the lot he took his usual spot and turned the car off. He got out and walked into the small building and was taken care of immediately.

When he got his coffee he was headed towards his usual table. Instead there sat a boy with black curly hair and a coffee of his own. He turned around to look right at Kurt and once again he was smitten with those eyes, now framed by reading glasses. And his hair free of gel fell on his face nicely. Kurt loved this look...a lot.

“Hi Kurt! Sit with me?” Blaine asked. Kurt nodded, unable to form coherent words, and sat in the opposite chair.

“I didn't know you came here,” Blaine said.

“I didn't know you came here either,” Kurt replied stupidly.

“I love their coffee. I grab on everyday before school. It's just something I do,” Blaine said.

“I used to always do that,” Kurt replied.

“So how was your night?” Blaine asked.

“I actually got a full nights sleep so I was happy,” Kurt said.

“That's good. I'm sorry if last night was awkward,” Blaine replied.

“No...it wasn't...I just wasn't expecting to meet you.”

“That's what Nick and Carl said,” Blaine said.

“Nick?” Kurt asked.

“He hasn't told you about Nick? Shit...” Blaine said.

“No...just Carl,” he replied.

“Nick was his little fling before Carl. Nick and I ended up together for a few months. Nick's my age actually,” Blaine said. Kurt tried to wrap his head around this new piece of information.

“I did not know that...” Kurt said.

“Don't say I said anything unless you really want to talk to him about it,” Blaine said.

“I won't...I try not to get caught up over his past boyfriends,” Kurt said.

“I try not to either and for some reason they seem to get caught up in me,” Blaine said.

“Well, not to sound like them, you are good looking and any guy would be lucky to have you,” Kurt said smiling.

“Well, the one guy I like, I barely know but he is taken and I have no chance so I'm just trying to pick up from there and go on with how things are,” Blaine said.

“I'm sorry to hear that,” Kurt said. So he had no chance with Blaine anyway because his sights were set on someone else anyway. What the hell am I saying?

“Why don't we go back before he wakes up?” Kurt said. Blaine nodded and stood up.

“Did you walk here?” Kurt asked.

“Yeah...” Blaine muttered.

“I drove so come on...I'll drive you back,” Kurt said smiling. Blaine smiled at him and they walked to the car together. Blaine was close to him until they separated at the car. They rode in silence until Blaine placed his hand on Kurt's on the console. Kurt felt a connection when he did that and he yearned for it to last.

“I'm sorry!” Blaine said as he felt Kurt's hand brush his and pulled back.

“It's..it's okay...” Kurt stuttered out.

“I'm just use to putting my hand there...god you must think I'm some kind of idiot,” Blaine said.

“No...I don't. Take it easy,” Kurt said smiling.

“I'm sorry,” Blaine said once again.

“Stop it. It's okay,” Kurt said. He wanted his hand back on his. Why couldn't he be with Blaine and not Cooper? Things with Cooper seemed strained and sometimes hard to handle. Cooper would get possessive of him around other guys and make sure they knew he was with Kurt. Kurt thought it probably had to do with his ex boyfriends. When they pulled into the lot they walked up talking. Blaine opened the door smiling and Kurt laughing. He saw Cooper looking at Blaine angry and then at him.

“Where the hell were you?” Cooper asked Blaine.

“Down at the coffee shop. You know I always go there,” Blaine said.

“You went with Kurt?”

“I ran into him there actually. I gave him a ride back because why should he walk all the way back when I'm coming here too,” Kurt said.

“Stay away from him Blaine,” Cooper said.

“Cooper...I'm not like your exes...don't worry about it please. I don't want him like I want you. I love you Cooper,” Kurt said. Pieces of that outburst were lies but Kurt tried to push it out of his mind.

“Unlike the last two guys you were with Kurt actually cares for you. I'm going to grab my keys and go out for a while,” Blaine said walking into the hall.

“Blaine...I'm sorry. Why don't you go to Scandals with us tonight?” Cooper asked.

“I guess...I'll meet you two there later on tonight,” Blaine said. Kurt smiled lightly and tried to forget the touch in the car and the eyes and that smile and found he couldn't. Scandals would not be a good idea tonight...
End Notes: Well?? So far, so good?
