When Blaine and Cooper finally returned Kurt was relieved. They were okay and that was all that mattered to him. Erica moved away from him and Blaine took her spot. Blaine's comforting embrace enveloped him and Kurt nestled against him.

“Blaine and I went to where you saw this aura but...there was no scent that stuck out to us. We could smell vampires but like I said...nothing,” Cooper said. Kurt looked up at him and closed his eyes.

“It was the one who shot me. I know it. Whoever it is, he's still here.”

“Kurt...anybody could have the black aura.”

“They're rare, Blaine. You know that. This is the same one who shot me,” Kurt said.

“Kurt...I doubt it,” Blaine said. Kurt tried to get up but Blaine held him tightly. Kurt squirmed and pushed against him but Blaine was still stronger than him.

“I'm serious, Kurt. This could be just somebody passing through. A lot of human's have this aura.”

“What part of it's rare to find don't you understand? Sebastian was the last one I've seen with black!”

“What about the random huntings you did?”

“Blaine...the thing that shot me was vampire.”

“And, I'm saying it's not the same one. But, we will find out who did it, Kurt.”

“Let me go,” Kurt said exasperated. Blaine sighed and let him go. Kurt stood up and made his way to their bedroom and walked in and locked the door. He moved to the bed and sat down. He ran a hand through his hair and closed his eyes. After a few hours Blaine knocked on the door. Kurt got up and opened it up. Blaine walked in and closed the door walking over to him slowly.

“I'm sorry...” Blaine said as he knelt down and kissed Kurt's forehead.

“It's okay...I just wish you would listen to me once in a while,” Kurt replied.

“I know...do you know how much I wish we could never see this guy again? I don't care who it is...I'm killing them...”

“I know it's the person that tried to kill me...I know it is.”

“I know...Cooper went back to the area and he said the scent is familiar to him but he doesn't remember their name...”

“Well...we have a start...and maybe now we can find who did this,” Blaine said. Kurt nodded and kissed Blaine chastely. They changed and laid down for the night. Kurt hoped they'd find whoever hurt him soon. He needed them to be found.

The next day he found himself being dragged around the farmer's market with Blaine and Cooper. Blaine was getting the usual while Cooper just looked around with him.

“If you want to get anything don't hesitate to get it. We have plenty to spend here,” Kurt said to Cooper who was looking at some things.

“I don't but thanks. I'm just remembering,” Cooper replied.

“Remembering what?” he asked curiously.

“I used to always take Blaine into town when he was young. Dad would give me enough to get the usual list but I would always be sure to get Blaine some kind of fruit.”

“So that's where he gets it from,” Kurt said smiling.

“Our dad would never realize I had spent the money and I would just say the best costs money. The perks of being upper class in those days. It was once a week and I told Blaine that as long as he was good and listened I would always follow through with my weekly gift,” Cooper said.

“Why? Was he trouble?” Kurt asked surprised.

“No...he was always good and did what he needed to. Our father suspected...his attraction to the same sex and I tried to keep him as safe as I could. Then, I was shot...I couldn't protect him and that's where Simon came in,” Cooper said. Kurt nodded and jumped as Blaine joined him at his side again.

“Here...I'm going to our usual stand. Are you two going off or coming with me?” Blaine asked.

“I guess we'll go with you,” Kurt replied. He took Blaine's hand in his and they set off to the other side of the farmer's market. Kurt let Blaine go as they got to the stand and Cooper put his hands in his pockets.

“I'm really happy for you two. You're amazing and from everything he's told me you're much more than that. I'm glad he found somebody so good for him,” Cooper said.

“Did you never think Elijah was good for him?”

“I did think they'd be okay but in that age Blaine and him would have been publicly hung or worse,” Cooper said. Kurt nodded and watched Blaine as he went through all the produce. Cooper left him to go to Blaine so Kurt walked down the stands and looked at some of the random stuff people made. He noticed a guy out of the corner of his eye keeping up with him. Kurt looked back to the stand where Cooper and Blaine were calculating what to do. He decided to just go back to them and once there he noticed the figure gone.

“Are you okay?” Blaine asked. Kurt nodded and gave his best smile.

“Yeah...I just don't want to spend too long here today. My mom and I are supposed to spend some time together and we're a little behind,” Kurt replied.

“Sure...I'm just about done here,” Blaine said. Kurt waited anxiously as he paid and then they left. He kept looking behind them, Cooper doing the same thing. When Kurt looked at him he nodded and Kurt knew he'd look into it.
