Author's Notes: One more update! Thanks for reading! :)
Kurt woke up and moved around the room slowly. He got changed and went downstairs. Blaine must still be with Erica. He sat on the couch for a while until he got fed up with waiting and went out into the night. He stopped by a creek and sat down beside it staring out into the night. He listened to the sounds of the night. The rustling of the leaves, the animals scurrying around, the hoot of the owls. It was peaceful. Kurt looked down into the creek and sighed.
“Hey...”
He turned around to see Blaine standing a few feet away. He blinked and turned away from him and stared back down into the creek.
“Kurt...I'm sorry. It's none of my business to tell you what happened. That's up to Erica to tell you,” Blaine said.
“I get it...just let it go,” Kurt said. Blaine came over to him and put his arms around him and kissed his neck.
“I'm sorry...” Blaine said.
“It's okay...” Kurt said reaching his hands up to Blaine's. The same thing as before happened again. This time he was looking into the eyes of Sebastian. In the next image he wrapped up in his arms. Kurt felt peaceful in these two images until the last one where Sebastian was looking angry and he felt angry. He saw tears form in Sebastian's eyes and he was now looking at an angry Erica. The next image he was wrapped up in Erica's arms feeling worthless and hurt.
“Kurt? Kurt!” Blaine yelled. Kurt opened his eyes and found himself holding tightly to Blaine. What the hell was that?
“Kurt are you okay?”
“I don't know...” he said shakily. He focused his eyes but his head was still fuzzy. A headache was forming and he was ticked.
“What did...what did you see?” Blaine asked.
“Sebastian...” Kurt replied curtly.
“What?”
“I was looking into Sebastian's eyes, then I was in his arms, and then finally I was angry...Sebastian was too and then upset and I looked to see Erica looking at him angry too. Finally I was in Erica's arms...but it wasn't me...it was you,” Kurt said. Blaine looked at him surprised and then down at the creek.
“I swear it wasn't me with him...it was you. These stupid visions are the point of view from the person I touch,” Kurt said. Blaine nodded and then got up.
“Blaine...I'm sorry. Are you okay?” Kurt asked.
“Yeah...are you okay?” Blaine asked.
“Now I am...” he said.
“Let's go...we need to get to Easton,” Erica said.
“Where did you come from?” Kurt asked.
“I locked up the house and came here. I heard you two...I had to make sure you were okay,” Erica replied. Kurt looked away and sighed.
“Let's go...” Blaine said. Kurt got up slowly and they started to run. When they had crossed into Pennsylvania Blaine stopped all of a sudden. Kurt stopped and ran back to him, Erica right beside him.
“What is it?” Erica asked.
“There's a group of vampires up ahead...they're just standing in a line...waiting,” Blaine said. Erica smelled the air and Kurt did too. He could smell a mixture of people and realized Blaine was right. They went on cautiously until they saw the group...and the group saw them. Blaine and Erica gasped next to him and he looked at them confused.
“Why hello Erica...Blaine...” a woman said. Kurt looked her up and down. She was beautiful. The man next to her gave him a disgusted look and glared at Blaine.
“Hello Blaine...you found yourself a worthless piece of filth like you? Very...nice,” the man said.
“He is not filth! Shut up Cristian!” Blaine growled.
“You know him?” Kurt looked at Blaine confused.
“Sadly yes...those two are related to Erica,” Blaine replied.
“We're no longer related to her...ever since you came into the 'family' she's been nothing,” the girl said.
“Get over yourself Felicia,” Erica said. Felicia gave her a hate filled look and then looked back at the group behind them.
“You know who we want...” she said. That was when all hell broke loose. The group of vampires started to come after them. Blaine jumped in front of Kurt and kicked the one guy back.
“I can fight you know,” Kurt said.
“You're still young...they're way older than even me and Erica...” Blaine said. The started to fight side by side helping each other. Erica was doing fine on her own taking out some of them. Kurt looked at Blaine.
“Blaine!”
Blaine looked up at him startled and then Kurt saw it. Ropes were put around Blaine and a blood curdling scream was heard. Kurt covered his ears and stared in shock as Blaine's skin turned red and looked like it was burning. Blaine fell down to the ground writhing in pain. Kurt wanted to run for him but Erica grabbed him.
“Don't Kurt...that rope is covered in Vervain...” Erica said. Kurt fought against her hold. Tears started forming in his eyes as he watched his love cry out in pain. Kurt felt every bit of pain Blaine was and it hurt so much. He fell down to the ground whimpering, Erica still holding him.
“We have you now...don't think you're getting away this time,” Felicia said smiling. Kurt looked up at her with anger. Blaine's eyes held pure hatred.
“Let's go,” Cristian said. He grabbed Blaine by his shirt and pulled him up roughly.
“Hey! Let him go!” Kurt said. Cristian looked at him and came over to him.
“Ray...bring over the Vervain,” Cristian said. Erica pulled Kurt away as he clawed out at Cristian. The man was next to Cristian and held a bottle with some liquid in it. Cristian took the bottle and looked at it. He took the top off and grabbed Kurt's hand. Kurt struggled and Erica tried to pull him away but she was pried off of him and pulled away. Cristian pulled his arm straight out and started to our the liquid in a small trail down his arm. Searing pain blinded him and he curled up on the ground crying out in pain. He heard Blaine's cries and feared he was being hurt even more.
“They're bonded...” Felicia simply said.
“This will get interesting...” Cristian said. Kurt watched as he made his way over to Blaine slowly. He kicked Blaine roughly in the stomach. Kurt whimpered. Every ounce of pain Blaine was feeling he felt.
“We'll let him go for now...let's get back to the manor,” Cristian said. All of a sudden they were gone. Kurt was rolled onto his back looking up at Erica before everything went black.
When he opened his eyes he was by a creek. Erica was sitting beside him and holding his hand. She looked down at him sadly.
“Blaine...” Kurt managed to mumble. It hurt to talk, it felt as if razor blades were cutting his throat.
“He's been taken Kurt...I'm sorry,” Erica said sadly. Kurt felt as if his heart had been taken and stepped on and left to bleed. He rolled over and put his head into her stomach and cried. Erica pulled him up and put her arms around him.
“It's going to be okay...” she said softly.
“No it won't...” Kurt said.
“I promise Kurt...things will be fine. We'll find him,” Erica said.
“He's gone...he's gone...” Kurt said over and over between sobs. Erica held him tightly to her and she kissed his head.
“Please don't Kurt...you'll both be fine...” she said. Kurt lay there with her for the longest time. He fell asleep once again against her.
The next time he woke up he was laying on a blanket. The smell of Erica was stale and he didn't see her around. His left arm was sore from the Vervain dumped on him. He sat himself up using his right arm. He looked up to see Erica coming back to him carrying somebody.
“Drink,” she said laying the body down by him. He moved over and bit into the tender flesh and drank. The pain in his arm started to die down to a slight throb. He laid back down and she moved over by him. There was a fire set up a few feet away and she went to get the water.
“It's not that hot so don't worry. I just want to clean the burns before they completely heal. Vervain is a herb that can burn our skin. They used it on him and on you. Our skin is very sensitive to it,” she said quietly. Kurt put his arm out for her to clean.
“So, I've been thinking and decided I'd tell you something. That man you saw in your vision...was...everything to me at one point. I loved him...then he went to hurt me. He tried to make sure Blaine was always out of the way. The night Julian asked me to marry him Blaine walked out angry. I was so ticked off at Blaine to be that childish...but a while later I wished I had listened to him,” she said.
“You don't need to tell me,” Kurt said.
“I need to. Two years after that night Julian came after me...he really tried to hurt me...Blaine saved me though and I owe Blaine everything. I closed up from the world and only stayed by Blaine. He did so much to help me that night and I'd do anything to make sure he was okay too,” Erica said. Kurt waited for her to finish and then sat up and hugged her.
“I'm so sorry Erica...I had no idea...” Kurt said.
“It's okay...no we need to focus on getting Blaine back,” she said. Kurt nodded and they started on their way. They came to a town that they stopped at a motel for the day. Kurt laid in the one bed and Erica took the other.
“I did the same thing for him...and he told me off,” she said.
“What?” he asked.
“I warned him about Sebastian and the same fight ensued that had years before that. We both came to our senses and since then we've helped each other out. I made sure he was being smart when he met you. I watched you for the longest time. I wanted to make sure you were good for him. I knew after a few days you were worth it,” she said.
“Thank you...” Kurt said. He lay curled up, away from Erica, on the bed crying silently. Blaine was gone...he needed to know if he was okay. He just wanted Blaine to be okay. He fell asleep shortly after. He saw Blaine in his dreams. Blaine wasn't tied up but he was in pain and it hurt Kurt. He felt like half of him was gone. A piece of him was missing. He felt the heartache and woke up when somebody picked him up.
“Kurt...honey are you okay?”
“Erica...I need him,” Kurt said.
“I know honey...this is what happens when you're bonded. You know he's in pain and you can feel it. It'll be fine though...I'll help you through this...” Erica said. Kurt laid with her for the rest of the night crying himself to sleep.
