Author's Notes: First chapter is just Blaine rambling about their current life.

When you are in love, you know it relatively fast... (Unless you are a dumbass.) By this I mean it doesn't normally take three or four years to realize... 'Oh, I want to marry this person.' After that long it's more like, 'Sure, I'll settle for this person.' Which is never a good thing, right? Right. So with that in mind, I'm going to tell you the story of how I fell in love with possibly the biggest dumbass of all... and no, he didn't settle (I promise).

Maybe I should start off telling you how my life is right now... in one word, perfect. I know, I know; "There is no such thing as perfect." Bullshit. My life is just how I want it, I would NEVER change it, for anything.

I, Blaine Michael Anderson, am married to THE Kurt Issaac Hummel (now Anderson). We live in Seattle, Washington and have the most amazing, beautiful, adorable, obnoxious twins known to man - also known as Arlo Eliza and Skylar Malachi Anderson.

We're happy. We live in a beautiful home in a great neighbor hood, we both have well paying jobs, and our family is happy and healthy - couldn't ask for more.

Blah blah blah, enough about now. I could go on and on about how happy we are or how perfect everything is. But it wasn't always that way.

You see, I fell in love fast. Faster than even I consider normal, but what can I say? When I saw him, I knew. Well... technically I guess I didn't know since it was only sixth grade, but I do know I was drawn to Kurt like no one else I've ever met, and that feeling never went away - even now, 12 years later.

If you scroll up a bit, you can see that I said I fell in love with a dumbass, that wasn't a typo. He is the most stubborn man I have ever met.. but God he's gorgeous.

Off topic, sorry. Anyways - YES! I fell in love fast, and so did he. But it took him around eight years to realize that not all love was bad. Let me rephrase, that I wasn't bad. In fact we're pretty perfect together.

I will never forget the first time I danced with him...

End Notes: Next chapter will be Blaine reminiscing about their first dance/when they first started "liking eachother". I would beg for reviews but that's not very classy.
