Author's Notes: This chapter is pretty long. Hope it doesn't bore you.I try my best to write..thanks for reading..
When Kurt woke up next he heard mumbled, hushed tones around him. He opened his eyes and sat up rubbing his aching neck carefully. Kurt looked around and saw a beautiful bedroom. He was in a king-sized bed which overflowed with pillows of several shades of light and dark blue. Royal blue curtains poured from atop the 4-eyed window to the left with a curtain being daintily pulled away in the middle. The floor was wooden and a large screen LCD television was to the right of the room. To the left there was a cosmetics center and a closet (which was open and filled with clothes). The final door was left closed however, but he suspected it to be the bathroom.

Kurt sat up in the bed rubbing his head, and trying to ease the pain. He was no longer wearing his skin tight jeans from the night before, but instead new black ones with an elegant purple top.

When did I change?

He knew for a fact that he hadn't woken up before now and just the thought of someone else touching him much less seeing him naked made his skin crawl. Maria was asleep in his arms and for once, since he woke up he was relieved. Kurt brushed Maria’s hair from her face and kissed her cheek gently. Just then the doorknob turned, Kurt heart throbbed in his ears and his palms got sweaty. His mind contemplated as to whether he should fake sleep or face whatever horrors lay behind that door. Kurt had barely enough time to think when a person opened the door. It was a male, he had curly black hair and a well-built body, he looked at least two years older than him and had familiar hazel to silver eyes, which were now staring at him. Kurt remained quiet as the gap between their bodies lessened with each step he took, when he reached the end of the bed he looked down at Kurt, remorse written all over his face. He opened his mouth to say something when they both heard heavy steps heading this way, his head shot toward the door and he held up his hand. He mumbled a couple of words that I was unable to comprehend but couldn't as his body then fell asleep.

"Good morning," A high voice cooed. Kurt eyes darted open as a splash of sudden sunlight filled the room. he covered his face as his eyes adjusted to the brightness of the room. In his mind, Kurt tried to figure out where he was and whether or not he was having a dream? Kurt looked up and saw a girl staring at him intently. She was dressed in a maids outfit and had her curly blonde hair in a ponytail. Her beautiful eyes glared calmly at Kurt filled with sorrow and sincerity.

Kurt then looked beside him and Maria was sleeping like a (well of course!) Baby.

"Where am I?" Kurt asked ignoring the girl's previous greeting.

Her face hardened and sadness overcame it, "I believe the prince should tell you that," she said faintly.

The prince? What prince?

Before Kurt could ask her anything else someone burst through the door. He looked toward the person, (holding Maria closer to him in the process), and saw those hazel eyes he had seen the first night, when he was in the woods, before everything blocked out.

The boy looked at the maid but didn't acknowledge Kurt presence, instead he looked at the woman next to him, "Brittany, get him dressed," he then paused and looked at Kurt, "And the baby too."

Brittany nodded and he left on that note.

"Well, isn't it a warm welcome party," Kurt mumbled, Brittany smiled at him comment and then him. She later instructed Kurt to take a shower, after much discussion he did, bathing Maria with Kurt. They came out and were immediately dressed. Kurt refused on the clothes he was being dressed with.

Kurt told this to Brittany and she responded saying that it was the 'prince' orders so it would be best if he co-operate.

"Who is this prince everyone's talking about so often, I want to meet him," Kurt demanded.

"He came in earlier today," Brittany mentioned, dressing Maria in a cute thin strapped dress.

"The guy with hazel eyes?" Kurt asked.

"Yes,"

She then handed Kurt a pair of silver tight jeans and a black shirt. Kurt looked at them considering.

"Please my dear," She pleaded, "His highness will be here any second."

Kurt did what she asked and she comb Kurt hair nicely. Fifteen minutes passed when the door finally opened. The 'prince' entered wearing a plaid shirt and jeans pants. He looked at Kurt, satisfaction in his eyes. He nodded to Brittany and held out a hand for Kurt. Kurt looked at it disgusted and refused it holding Maria's instead.

"Where are we going?" Kurt asked as soon as he closed the door, "And where am I? What do you want with me?"

"Are you always this chatty?" He asked annoyed.

"Well, I'm sorry I'm not being a well-behaved abducted victim this is my first time!"

He smiled at himself and led the way down a long hallway. On the walls were paintings and photographs that Kurt couldn't get to glimpse because of how fast he was moving.

Kurt carried Maria on his hip and tried to even the weight on each side of his body. They finally reached the top of a flight of stairs he was about to go down when Kurt gripped his arm.

"Hey!" Kurt began, "I'm not going to co-operate here unless I get answers!"

He sighed and turned to Kurt, "What?"

"Listen, I want to know why I'm here, do you want money? Is that why you kidnapped me?"

He smirked heartlessly before backing Kurt against a wall, "And why would I need your money?" He spat heartlessly.

"Well, what else do you want?"

He didn't answer.

"Hey! I'm speaking to you and the regular response is to answer."

He seemed irritated at Kurt behavior and so gripped his neck in response, his fingers tightening as he spoke.

"Now listen and listen well," he began, "There are 20 plus vampires down these stairs who are more than capable of drinking you dry in seconds, you don't want that do you," Kurt managed to shake his head as the air to his lungs lessened, Maria had fallen from his arms and was now wailing on the ground, "I expect proper behavior from you tonight, so don't try to embarrass yourself by telling everyone you were "kidnapped" they all know what was done and why it was done, so there's no point."

He then let go of Kurt neck immediately, allowing his body to crumble to the ground as he caught his breath coughing a bit along with it. "And when he mentioned there are vampires that will drink him dry, he is the one of them so don't tempt him into doing it first,"
Kurt gave him a death glare but deep down he was scared, petrified even. Kurt face was sweaty now and his eyes were welling up. Kurt pulled Maria into his arms and shushed her rocking her body from side to side.

"Are we understood?" He asked as though this was some sort of parent-child conversation.

Kurt nodded slowly.

"Good, and keep an eye on your little sister here because the rules still apply," Kurt looked at him disgusted.

“You monster.” Kurt mumbled himself again.

Kurt rolled his eyes and looked down at Maria, her face was sweaty and stain with dried tears.

"Are you going to stay there all day?" He asked impatiently. Kurt didn't respond immediately which he knew got him more riled up, but Kurt didn't care.

Kurt wiped Maria up and managed to get to his feet following him down the stairs. At the bottom Kurt expected to see hooded, blood thirsty creatures with glowing red eyes and hungry looks jolting at him. Kurt gulped as the final 4 stairs awaited him. Kurt was already down there and from where he was, he heard glasses clinking as they met along with several volumes and types of laughter.

Probably discussing their different methods of murdering helpless victims.

"I love beheading mine first," A man with a rusty voice would say.

"Nah, man hearing their terror filled screams is my favorite part," Another would add before asking for a third opinion.

"I like going the old fashion way," A laid-back lazy-looking vamp and glass in hand would begin, "Right at the ne-"

Kurt then realized that he had finished descending from the stairs and all eyes were on him. Kurt gulped and looked in his surroundings. They were at a loft-like setting. There were bar stools, couches and wooden chairs scattered all around. Laughter and smiles were on each face of each person he saw. The people were dressed as casually as ever, plaid shirts, short Capri's, khakis, mini-skirts as though a day at the beach. There were beautiful faces all round, of both men and women whose gazes were still tensely watching him.

Maria gripped tighter unto his shoulder, digging her tiny nails into them. Kurt winced and looked at her calmly.

"Yo Blaine Anderson aren't going to introduce your boy to the family?" A distant voice yelled. A few chuckles arose from the males and whispers and giggles from the women.

Blaine Anderson (as Kurt just figured out his name) smiled but didn't respond.

His 'boy'! Ha! Not even for my last breath!

"Follow me," he whispered.

Kurt did. He dodged and slid his way through all the close-knit bodies so quickly that Kurt lost him at one point. An arm then grabbed Kurt and he turned quickly. He saw another silver-eyed male in front of him. He seemed astonished at something and was not speaking. He was drop dead gorgeous with beach blonde hair and a killer smile. He was wearing a blue buttoned shirt leaving the first 3 loose displaying his well-defined pecks - and black jeans. Kurt smiled shyly at him and he nodded to him. Kurt decided to head back to wherever he was going, but bounced into someone's chest in the process. Kurt looked up at those blue eyes which were steaming mad!

And here they go again...

"I told you to follow me," he growled angrily, looking behind him at the guy, "Not flirt with some random stranger."

"I wasn't flirting," Kurt began, "Plus it's not my fault I'm not capable of walking 50 miles an hour in my feet while balancing a baby in my arms!" Kurt shot back.

Kurt grew some sort of courage since their little chat less than a minute ago and decided that he wouldn't allow Blaine to bully him around whether or not he could kill Kurt within a matter of seconds.

Blaine was silent now, he moved closer to Kurt, towering over him like a satellite looking down at the earth, his deep voice was filled with anger as he said, "Don't forget what I told you," before heading in the opposite direction slowly this time. As they walked Kurt took note of some things, the persons were as normal looking as ever, besides their chiseled jawlines well-built bodies and perfect bone structure. Females were designed with flowing long hair of all colors and types. Everyone was just perfect looking.

When Blaine finally stopped, he was in front of two persons. A tall old but young-looking male with gold eyes and smooth black (and a few gray strands) hair that cushioned a crown above it. The other person was a female. She looked the same age as the male with shoulder-length brown hair and the same golden eyes, she too wore a crown and smiled at Blaine before looking at the man beside her, making eye contact.

The man nodded.

"Silence!" He yelled. The room immediately fell quiet, "My second son has finally found his mate!" He announced.

His what?! Oh hell no! If by mate you mean jail-mate then maybe...

Kurt was on the verge of disapproving, quarreling and laughing hysterically but remembered what Blaine had threatened at first and swallowed his hundreds of thousands of comments all at once. The cheerful chorus of, "Ya! Ah! And Oh's!" had silenced down now as the man began again.

"What's your name sweet boy?" He asked soothingly.

"His name is Kurt.....Kurt Hummel," Blaine answered for him probably knowing Kurt had no intention of speaking. Kurt didn't bother asking how he'd found out his name when he would never once shared this information with him.

"Very well," the female began, "And this child she is your..."

Kurt knew this was the part where he would finished his statement, but didn't speak so eventually Blaine answered, "His little sister."

"Ah I see," the father began, "And can he speak?"

"You have no idea," Blaine exasperated.

Kurt looked at him with a crocked eyebrow, forgetting his place for a brief second.
A few unvoiced chuckles and giggles came from that comment.

They looked at Kurt smiling gently and for once since he came, Kurt was not fully tensed up.

"So Kurt," he emphasized his name indirectly stating that he wanted him to answer/ respond, "What is your nationality?"

"What does it matter to you?" Kurt asked cautiously, seriously intrigued.

"Oh, it seems we have a sassy one this time," he said with laughter in his voice. The people around them laughed quietly, some mumbling to others. Kurt then analyzed his statement, a habit of mine, and realized he had said 'this time' so what happened the last time? Did you kill her before she had a choice? Or was she just an innocent human like himself? Either way he was comparing him to this person and Kurt don't see any other humans in this room. The thought caused Kurt stomach to churn in disgust. Kurt then looked at Blaine and his eyes were, of course, abject his entire face as a matter of fact was drenched in inimicality. Kurt gulped and looked at the female, then the male who had originally asked the question before stating, "My mother was Venezuelan and my father Irish," Kurt said softly.

"Ah, so that explains your radiant beauty," he said throwing his hands up slightly while sitting back lazily in his chair.

Kurt smiled softly, "And tender temper yes," Blaine mumbled.

Kurt glared at him, "You know what Blaine?!" Kurt began.

"Exactly my point," he said gesturing to Kurt behavior.

"Ugh!" Kurt rolled his eyes and crossed his arms on his chest.

"So Kurt," the male began again, "Give me your fully 100% honest opinion on this question ok?"

Kurt didn't respond, "OK?!" He rose his voice and Kurt winced and nodded slowly looking at the ground then up at his face. Kurt don't do well with raised voices they cause shudders and cause him to get nervous quickly.

"Do you understand why you're here?"

"No, sir," Kurt said.

"Do you want to be here?"

"No sir."

"On a scale of 1-10 how much do you despise this young man?" He nodded toward Blaine.

Kurt looked at Blaine who blew him a kiss before winking, I rolled my eyes and responded, "85."

"That's not within the range."

"Well the range needs to be expanded."

"Then can you be a bit more specific." He asked slowly obviously getting annoyed.
Kurt thought back on his previous conversation with him, how he'd almost left him breathless and crumbled on the floor within seconds from just asking a simple question or two. Kurt thought of Blaine threats to both he and Maria and how everyone had looked at him differently, some sort of fearful respect in their eyes.

Kurt gnawed on his bottom lip in deep thought before stating, "As much grains of sand there are on each beach in the world."

Kurt heard a growl from someone next to him and saw Blaine glaring at him. Kurt gave him a what-you-gonna-do-about-it smile then redirected his attention away from him. Maria's tiny hands gently grazed Kurt cheek (her way of calming him down). Kurt then realized that by offending Blaine, he may have somehow offended the king, and was terrified as to what they would do to him now, but wouldn't let them feel superior, so controlled his anxiety under a still emotionless face.

The man rose from his chair and walked toward Kurt, "Brittany!" He yelled. Brittany then appeared next to him.

"Yes your highness," she said.

"Hold the child."

Kurt gripped his sister tighter to him, "Over my dead body," Kurt mumbled.

"That can be arranged," Kurt heard Blaine say. Kurt looked over to him wondering if he was being an imbecile or if he was serious, but he had a poker face and so Kurt was left baffled.

"Now, Blaine Anderson," The man began, "Be nice, you are the one that's going to be marrying him in a couple of months."

Married! HA! He said married!

Kurt laughed heartlessly and Blaine refocused on him.

Brittany held out her hands to Maria, Kurt shook my head, "No," he said.

"What did you just say?" The king asked.

"I said 'no'," Kurt answered, "Did you not hear me?"

The king and everyone else as a matter of fact was shocked at Kurt behavior but Maria was always Kurt weak spot, the one thing that drove him awake every morning, that gave him the willpower to leave school and work for 8 hours barely sitting during the time, the one thing that Kurt guarded with my life, she was Kurt life and will forever be and so there's no way Kurt was handing her over.

The King ignored Kurt question and continued speaking, "Brittany’s just going to hold her, nothing more."

Hold her while you and your son or whatever suck her lifeless hell no!

Kurt looked at Brittany and she was smiling, her eyes soft and her arms outstretched. Her entire facial expression read, "Trust me," Kurt inhaled deeply.

Kurt shook his head slowly, "I'm sorry I will not hand her over," Kurt said quietly. He sighed.

"Very well," the King began as he rose from his chair, "No one in this room is allowed to lay hands on that child besides Brittany, Kurt and Blaine. Anyone who does will be severely punished! Understood?"

The entire room was shocked at the king's suddenly new decree but agreed.

"Will you hand her over now?" He asked.

Kurt thought about it, looking at the faces around him before he reluctantly handed her to Brittany.

Kurt sighed and straightened his shirt with his hands.

"Now," he began once more, "It's your turn to question me, anything that confuses you at this very point must be addressed to me ok?"

Kurt nodded.

"You may begin."

"How was handing over Maria relevant to me questioning you?" Kurt begin asking..

He chuckled to himself, "You were struggling with her in your arms, I could've seen it."

Kurt merely agreed with his statement and was about to inform him of times when he would have to work waiting tables with her in his arms and a tray filled with dishes in the next. Kurt could tell him all this but he bet he would not be impressed - not that Kurt wanted to - and it was all too personal anyway, so Kurt moved on to more territorial ground.

"Why am I here?"

He smiled, "Because you have been chosen as Blaine' mate."

"And how is it possible that I've been chosen."

"Well, when Blaine drank from you he stopped, normally you would have been drank dry but he stopped. This is one of the reactions once a vampire has met his/her mate they develop a deep love for them after tasting their blood so they can't kill them."

"So like love at first sight... but... with blood?"

He smiled softly and nodded, "Yes you could put it that way."

Kurt nodded taking this all in.

"And where am I?"

"An island by the name of Zyro's Peak."

"How long must I stay here?"

"An approximate 7 months."

"And why so long?" Kurt wasn't sure where these questions were coming from or how he built up enough courage to ask them, but they just spilled out.

"Because that is the deadline for you to fall in love with Blaine," Kurt heartlessly laughed but didn't comment.

"And what if I wish to leave sooner?"

"Well situations like that are rare, but you're not allowed to leave until after 5 months most," Kurt sighed, "Ok, and if I don't approve of being Blaine' mate?"

"Well, it's not really something you have a say in, well you do but that's further on, so for now you have no choice but to stay,"

Kurt sighed as his previous plans of secretly building a boat and sailing away were ruined.

"Anymore?"

Kurt made a face thinking for anything else that he might need to know. He then began speaking, "The people here are not allowed to harm you or your sister, you both will be provided with the necessary clothes and food."

"I agree," Kurt began before shaking his head, "Sorry, I meant to say ok."

"That's... how do you say... perfect."

Kurt smiled at his good pronunciation and nodded, "So, what if I 'fall in love' with Blaine after the 7 months what then?"

He smiled after my air-quoted 'fall in love', "Well, then you two will decide what to do then."

Kurt nodded at that, "I think that's it."

"No questions as it relates to your parents' reactions toward all this?" He asked knowingly.

Kurt stomach churned and he felt his tennis-ball-sized lump in his throat. Kurt heart sank and he looked down, remembering them for a brief second before pulling himself together, Kurt inhaled, "They passed away a couple of months ago, so I think they'll be just fine with it."

"Oh," the female began, "Dear I'm so sorry."

Kurt forced a shy smile and shrugged trying to be brave but deep down he was crying.

"We will now commence the dinner portion of today's festivities!" The king yelled changing the subject immediately. Kurt looked over at Brittany and saw her speaking to Maria, a smile spread across her face as Brittany rubbed their noses. Kurt walked toward them and Maria's eyes beamed on seeing him, she outstretched her hands and Kurt looked at her as though he hadn't seen her for days, Kurt eyes wide and arms ready to hold her. Kurt kissed her chubby cheek and she giggled. Brittany looked at them admirably.

"She's lucky to have such a responsible and caring brother," she commented.

"Yeah," Kurt began, "She better appreciate it cause I'm expecting payback by the time she's 18." Kurt joked.

She laughed and Maria began mumbling varied vowels to Kurt hair taking a large amount in her hands carefully.
