Kurt hid in his tent for days after the Blaine incident, he was embarresed and kind of insulted about such a violent rejection. Kurt had heard from the soliders that Blaine tried to escape but was caught and beaten. Now he was back to work, still at the back of Kurt's tent but no longer singing or humming.
"Blaine" called Kurt nervously "Can you come in here I need to talk to you". A small sigh and to sound of footsteps around the side of his tent. Blaine cast a shadow across the tent entrance, he was wearing a shirt this time.
"Do you need something Sir Commander Hummel?" Blaine asked looking down at the groud. Kurt felt his heart rip at the tone of voice.
"I wish to apoligise for the incident the other day" Kurt replied "It was uncalled for". Blaine glanced up his eyes wide. "I wish for it to be forgotten do you hear me"
Blaine nodded "I liked it" he mumbled quitely, then louder "as you wish". He turned and started walking before pausing "anything else sir?" he asked.
"You" came Kurt's reply before he slapped his hands over his mouth, Blaine was smiling and started to walk over to Kurt.
"I thought you'd never ask" Blaine muttered pulling Kurt into a hug, "You're the worst enemy ever you know" Blaine told Kurt as he pulled away slightly so they could look into each others eyes "If you weren't so darn beautiful I'd have killed you by now".
Kurt giggled slightly as he sat on the floor pulling Blaine with him "I'll take that as a complement" It was his turn to hug Blaine and he pulled the shorter guy onto his lap. Suddenly Kurt felt sad "We have to keep this a secrete don't we?" He asked his face buried in Blaine's shoulder, his hands exploring Blaine's back.
"Yes" came Blaine's soft reply as he took Kurt's face in his rough hands "But some of the greatest things in history have been secrets" He kissed Kurt softly on the nose before standing. "I have work to finish" He muttered sadly "I'll be finished at nightfall"
Kurt stood and walked to his desk "I'll be here" he replied watching what could be his best or worst choice leaving his tent
