When Blaine dropped Kurt off at his dad's house in the morning it was a relief. He had been edgy and pushy all morning. In the end Kurt had stopped him and told him to calm down. Kurt had been suspiciously calm himself, and Blaine was pretty sure it was because he was terrified. But the situation didn't get any better when Blaine's touchy mood made him snap randomly at Kurt, even though he knew there was no reason to, and he felt bad immediately after.
"Call me as soon as you can," Blaine had said when they were parked outside Kurt's house. Kurt rolled his eyes at him and unbuckled his seat belt.
"It's gonna be fine. My dad knows keeping me here is practically signing my death certificate. I don't know what he can have come up with, but... I know he can't make me do anything that will take me away from you," Kurt assured him. He came closer and pressed a lingering kiss to Blaine's mouth, making Blaine grab his shoulders to hold him there for a moment longer before backing away.
"I love you, Doll-face. I'm not giving you up without a fight. Not with a fight, either," Blaine said when he finally released Kurt, knowing they were already pushing the limits with the time Kurt had promised his dad to be home.
"There will be no fight. I'll call you as soon as I have a minute. Don't worry about me. I'll be fine," Kurt said and left the car. As he walked down the tiled path to the house he turned around and gave a short wave, which Blaine saw as his cue to leave.

Now he was in his office. He had tried to keep himself busy with meetings and color samples. New York Fashion Week was coming up, and he had a ton of work to get done before the big event. Still, he was checking his phone every five minutes. It had been hours since he had dropped Kurt off.
Hours.
Not so much as a text had come through. He hadn't called or texted Kurt himself. He knew that Kurt would contact him when he had something to say. Naturally this didn't ease his nerves at all. This had to mean that Kurt and his parents were still debating the situation – or Kurt's dad had simply killed him in a snap.
Around three it had been five hours since Blaine had dropped Kurt off, and he hadn't eaten anything all day, due to the suspense completely killing his appetite, so when his colleague popped his head in to ask if Blaine wanted lunch, he sighed and went with him to a nice restaurant a block from their company building.
"Don't you ever fear that the kid feels pressured?" His colleague, Dan, asked when they were halfway through their meal. He was looking at Blaine over the top of his designer glasses, quirking an inquisitive eyebrow lightly. It was very clear to Blaine that this was a question that often came up during water cooler gossip rounds, and Dan had picked the shortest straw and had been designated to ask.
"No. I don't. Ever. Kurt can take care of himself," Blaine said, pursing his lips as he replied and grabbed the stem of his wine glass. He took a sip, staring at his colleague with firm eyes before returning his full attention to his food.
"Well, it seems to me that you can be rather... persuasive. Who's to say that's not what happens when the boy is with you?" Dan continued. He arranged his cutlery neatly and pushed away his almost empty plate. He watched Blaine, probably observing his every hint of reaction.
"Listen, I get why you people think it's any of your business, but it's really not. Kurt is a big boy, and I'm different when I'm with Kurt. That is all you need to know," Blaine said sharply, and signaled for the waiter that he was ready for his plate to be picked up.
He noticed that Dan was watching him. He was taking in his every move and Blaine just ignored him. He caught himself smiling politely at the waiter, and it struck him how much of an impact being with Kurt must have had on him.
"Have you ever considered that he's just with you for the money?" Dan suddenly asked and Blaine felt his blood boiling. However, it brought back a memory he hadn't thought about for a really long time.
In Blaine's car after the first time he had been with Kurt. He was driving him home and stopped somewhere at the side of the road to give him an offer. An offer shaped by sex in exchange for presents consisting of expensive things Kurt could never afford himself.
The memory knocked all air out of Blaine's chest. He hated to think that their relationship had started that way. It made him feel sick. Still, he shook his head at the memory as a new one presented itself, followed by another and another, and an endless line of memories of Kurt declaring his love for Blaine and the other way around.
No. This had nothing to do with money.
"I think you need to watch your mouth," Blaine just said and handed his card to the waiter who came with their check. He didn't look at Dan, simply took a deep breath through his nose as he pursed his lips and waited for the waiter to return so he could get back to work – get his mind off Kurt.
As soon as the waiter was back Blaine put away his card and turned his back on Dan, not even wanting to look at him right now. He couldn't believe anyone would suggest such a thing about Kurt (well, his brother would). He made a point to remind himself to not make life in the office easy for him in the future, even though he knew Kurt would frown harshly at him for it.
When he returned to his office a bunch of emails were blinking on his laptop, a pile of post-its had been plastered to his table and he was out of coffee.
And there were three missed calls from Kurt…
He brushed everything away and hurried to press the call button – and the sound of Justin Timberlake came from somewhere in the room.
That was when Blaine saw a very familiar, worn out Marc Jacobs bag on his couch, and in that moment the door to his bathroom was opened. Kurt was standing in the door, smiling broadly at him.
"Doll-face. What are you doing here?" Blaine asked, completely confounded, but that didn't stop him from rushing to put his arms around Kurt, pulling him close for a kiss that was returned with a slight squeal and a tight hug.
"Hey roomie…" Kurt mused and nudged Blaine with his hand. He ran a hand down Blaine's blazer, making sure it was straightened out and still looked presentable.
"What? Are you kidding? They said yes?!" Blaine burst out when he realized what it was Kurt had said. He pulled the boy closer, grinning at him with a firm hand on the lower of his back.
"It wasn't… it wasn't exactly a yes. They said that they will look into boarding schools in New York. They don't think we should live together as for now, but if I go to a boarding school and you moved to New York too, you could be… my base. You get me? I could have a room at the school but spend all of my free time with you, except for when I have to go home to visit my dad and Carole," Kurt told, letting his fingers stroll up and down Blaine's arm as he spoke.
Blaine watched Kurt as he told about the deal he had made with his parents. He took in the way his eyes lit up and listened to how the excitement was simmering in his voice. There was no doubt that Kurt really felt like he had hit jackpot.
To be honest, Blaine felt his heart cramp. This wasn't what he had in mind. This wasn't what he wanted, what he needed. He had planned to have Kurt living with him, to wake up next to him every morning, to kiss him goodnight every night before going to sleep with Kurt in his arms. But that was nowhere near what he was getting.
Still, Kurt was happy. So Blaine would be too. And he was not gonna let Kurt see him be disappointed. Right now it was all about making Kurt feel good about the outcome. Because no matter what the deal was, it would always be better than for Kurt to end up spending the rest of his life in this dump where he was in danger.
"So… you haven't said anything. What do you think?" Kurt asked, tugging lightly on the sleeve of Blaine's polo. He looked concerned, like he was fearing that Blaine would say it was all or nothing. Like he was waiting for Blaine to let go and say it wasn't good enough.
"I think it sounds amazing. And… you can live at my place too. Our place. I'm gonna get an apartment that will be ours. We can decorate it together, you can have a wardrobe there. It will be our place. But you will still have time to… be you. At your own speed. I like that," Blaine lied.
He was definitely gonna make sure it would be their apartment, but he knew it would kill him to see Kurt go every night. The thought of waking up every morning in an empty bed, when he knew he could have had Kurt there next to him, or going to bed alone at night – he wasn't sure how he was gonna go through with that. It seemed like the promise of them living together had changed everything he was and felt about life.
Not to mention that Kurt would have to live with teenagers. Drinking, smelling, disgusting teenage boys. What if they were to find out Kurt's secret? He would be destroyed, and then he would definitely never be comfortable with anyone ever again.
Blaine was pulled out of his train of thoughts when Kurt's face cracked in a grin. He jumped on tiptoes in excitement and tightened his hands on Blaine's biceps. Naturally, Blaine couldn't help grinning with him, and take part in his joy.
"Does that mean you'll let me take you out to celebrate tonight?" Blaine asked, dragging Kurt a little closer so their bodies were flushed against each other. With a chuckle Kurt leaned in to press his open mouth against Blaine's, so Blaine opened his own mouth to welcome Kurt's tongue in. Kurt hummed pleased and let a hand drift up to run his fingers into Blaine's hair.
"Mhm, we are gonna celebrate. All – day – and night – mister," Kurt said lowly, letting his blue eyes bore darkly into Blaine's in a way that made a twitch run down Blaine's spine.
Before he knew it Kurt's hands were sliding down his arms to grab his hips instead. He squeezed lightly and started pulling Blaine's polo out of his slacks with a teasing smirk. Blaine quirked an eyebrow when he felt Kurt's hands drift up his back under his shirt.
"You really wanna go down that road? Right here, right now?" He asked, his palms going firmer on Kurt's back to press them more together.
"Are you gonna say no?" Kurt retorted, his eyes lust blown and his voice low and smoldering. He let the tips of his fingers down the back of Blaine's pants, teasing over the soft skin of the top of his ass in a way so Blaine's hips almost bucked forwards. Yes, the boy definitely knew what he was doing.
"I'm gonna tear your clothes off and take you right here," Blaine groaned and started kissing down Kurt's neck, whilst letting his fingers seek under the boy's shirt.
"Do it, Blaine…" Kurt whined and started to search for Blaine's collar, trying to get his bow tie off.
With a smooth motion Blaine grabbed Kurt's ass. Kurt jumped to wrap his legs around Blaine's hips, and it only took Blaine seconds before he had bumped into chairs and waste bin while kissing Kurt feverishly before putting him down to sit on the desk.
From there on Kurt didn't waste any time. He quickly had Blaine's bow tie open and was starting to work on his shirt buttons while he was rolling his hips, grinding his crotch against Blaine's. he sucked on Blaine's lower lip, his fingers fumbling around Blaine's hair.
"Blaine… Blaine, please - I want you so much…" Kurt moaned, his crotch pressing hard against Blaine's. He was breathing heavily through kisses, and as Blaine quickly had Kurt's shirt open he rolled his taut nipples under his thumbs. He could sense the need streaming through Kurt, and it was spurring him on.
"You're so fucking naughty. Coming to my office to seduce me, huh?" Blaine groaned as he kissed down Kurt's neck, violating his pants open so he could grab them and pull them off, the burgundy briefs with them. It all ended with a thump on the floor without much care, and Kurt's legs instantly smoothing around back his hips.
"You want it," Kurt groaned, sucking Blaine's mouth in, but as Blaine started to rush his own pants down he was distracted by a hand shooting between them.
Before he knew it, Kurt was massaging his own clit firmly with two fingers, and it only lasted seconds before Blaine could feel the warmth from his pussy as his own pants slipped to end around his ankles. He grabbed Kurt's wrist strongly and tutted at him.
"My, my - so impatient you are. Rubbing that sweet little pussy of yours because it needs me, huh?" Blaine scolded as he grabbed his cock and started massaging the head around Kurt's vagina. The action had Kurt's head falling backwards with a whimper and Blaine could feel his entire body tense. Everything from Kurt's strong thighs around his hips, his open pussy waiting for Blaine's dick, to his strong arms and fingers on Blaine's biceps were flexing from the contact.
"Blaine, please… F-fuck me," Kurt grunted, his ass sliding over the wood of the desk as he shoved his hips forward, seeking the full attention Blaine was denying him.
Yet, Blaine slid his palms calmly up Kurt's arms, up to cup his face and press a full, warm kiss to his mouth. He smiled into the kiss and put so much passion and emotion into it as he knew how to.
"You're my Doll-face," he breathed out as he smoothly started to ease his way into Kurt's slick pussy, the cavern hot and wet as the flesh hugged him thickly.
"Fuck!" He groaned under his breath, stilling his hips for a moment, before he started up a slow rhythm of thrusting into Kurt.
The boy was moaning and whimpering with every motion their bodies performed together, his fingers tugging roughly on Blaine's hair. This wasn't going to last long, Blaine knew that already, so he let his hands down to grab Kurt's cheeks roughly, fingers digging into pale flesh and muscle, as he made Kurt roll his hips with his own.
"H-harder. Please… Bl-Blaine. Need m-more," Kurt stammered with a whine. His nails were digging into Blaine's shirt, the fabric damp with sweat and hormones. Eager to please, Blaine found himself pounding his cock deeper and harder into Kurt's mid, every punch of his dick against Kurt's walls making the boy whine and moan.
Blaine could feel Kurt tense up, his walls clinging to Blaine's shaft with every motion, and on Blaine's prediction Kurt gripped tighter onto him as his thighs and biceps flexed and a loud chain moan flooded from his mouth, his face pressed against Blaine's neck.
That was his cue. As Kurt's walls were hugging him, and Kurt's sweaty body was wrapped around him like a blanket, Blaine gave in and the lava shot from Blaine's balls through his shaft to fill up Kurt with stuttering hips and a low grunt that left them both breathless and dizzy.
"Oh god," Kurt whimpered after a long slot of silence. The office was filled with nothing but the sound of their combined breathing struggling to find footing and return to normal. It was reeking of sex and sweat, and Blaine made a mental note to open the window as soon as he had collected himself.
Blaine grabbed a handful of tissues from the box of Kleenex on the desk. He cleaned the worst semen away and dumped down in the chair behind him. He stared at Kurt with a smirk, took in the sight of him flushed and sprawled out. Gorgeous and glowing.
"I can't believe we just did that," Kurt huffed out when he came to his senses. Like he was reminded of the reality he snapped his legs closed and covered his crotch by putting his hands in his lap and crossing his legs.
"That was… so hot," Blaine responded with his head resting to the back of the chair and a broad smirk covering his face entirely.
"I really hope you've never done that before. I would feel pretty dirty if you had," Kurt commented, looking around the office for his underwear.
"Relax, Doll-face. For some reason you're the only one I've ever fucked on any desk. It's sort of our thing," Blaine chuckled and moved the chair so he could sit in front of Kurt, clear view to his crotch if only he would remove his hands from the area.
Blaine reached out to run his hands over Kurt's soft, naked thighs, loving the feeling of the pale hairs caressing over his palms, along with the warm skin. He looked up at him with wonder in his eyes and breath caught in his throat. He was really doing this; moving in with a guy.
"Come sit here," he said and patted his lap to indicate for Kurt to sit on him. Kurt smiled softly and slipped off the desk so he could sit in Blaine's lap, discarding the lack of underwear that had made him uncomfortable only moments ago.
Blaine turned on his computer and waited for it to open. While he waited he strolled his fingertips around Kurt's body and pressed kisses to his shoulder, his back, wherever he could reach. As soon as the screen started showing his desktop, Blaine clicked a link to open his browser.
"Blaine!" Kurt whispered in wonder when the site opened.
The page was a list of different possible apartments, each one luxurious and light - just like Blaine's general style, and the way he knew Kurt liked things to be. At least, he hoped he had nailed Kurt's style as well, but time would show, and no matter what he wasn't going to furniture the place without Kurt's consent of anything.
"Nothing is settled. These are just a few where I talked to the real estate agent, and we can come look at them. If you don't like them we'll say no, and it will all be good. Then we'll keep on looking," he smiled and rubbed his hand around Kurt's back, making sure he wasn't going cold, even if the temperature was sky high.
"And I figured that I would keep the apartment here. So when we're back for some reason we' ll have a place to stay." He squeezed his grasp around Kurt's waist, smiling with a hope of his agreement. Kurt twisted his torso and ran his fingers through Blaine's sex-moist hair.
"It's perfect. Thank you," he said softly, sliding a hand gently down Blaine's cheek, his face full of affection. With a soft smile Kurt returned his attention to the computer screen and started going through the different listings Blaine had found for them.
Blaine watched him in silence, giving Kurt the space and time he needed to digest it. It was very obvious in Kurt's expression that he was taken aback, and that didn't annoy Blaine one bit. He loved it when he could do things that would impress Kurt or surprise him, so this was a win-win situation.
Blaine squeezed his arms around Kurt, basking in the closeness as Kurt was clearly making mental notes about the different apartments. Blaine stayed silent, holding him close and loving that he was able to just feel and smell Kurt right there with him. He silently paid a thank you to the fact that Kurt was comfortable enough around him to do stuff like this.
When Kurt was done he pressed a kiss to Blaine's cheek and slipped off his lap. With a casual hum Kurt started getting dressed and handed Blaine his own clothes so be could get his own back on.
"So - when are we going to actually see them? We can't agree to anything just from seeing pictures on the internet," Kurt said as he started tying his scarf, sending Blaine a sharp glance that made Blaine roll his eyes at him and walk over to push Kurt's hands away, tying his Gucci scarf neatly.
"Of course we're not agreeing to anything just from the pictures online. I told the realtor that I needed a few days to make some arrangements so we can work things out with your family. I have also found some different schools we're gonna look at for you while we're there," Blaine told and squeezed Kurt's arms gently, before bopping a finger to his nose.
"You need to shower. You reek of sex you little slut," Blaine said and buttoned up his pants. He sent Kurt a smirk and headed for the bathroom.
"Is that so? And just exactly whose fault is that?" Kurt asked, following Blaine and leaning against the door frame with crossed arms.
"Uh yours," Blaine stated as he washed his hands and checked his hair and eyebrows in the mirror.
"What? If anyone here is a slut it's you," Kurt declared, clearly trying to keep himself together, but he couldn't help the giggle escaping his mouth as he poked Blaine in the ribs. Quickly Blaine turned around and caught him, arms taking Kurt in a tight lock that had the boy whining and laughing.
"I have rehabilitated. I have way too much to do with you and your teenage hormones around," he chuckled, tickling Kurt enough to make Kurt laugh so hard his knees buckled and he slipped to the floor.
"Quit being so mean," Kurt giggled, panting roughly as he laid flat on his back on the soft carpet. Blaine looked down on him and grunted before falling down to lie next to him, scooping Kurt into his arms.
They stayed there, looking up to the ceiling. Kurt shuffled over to rest his head on Blaine's shoulder, an arm and a leg swung around Blaine as good as possible, making sure they were completely tangled together, with a tiny chance of getting untangled anytime soon.
"We're gonna be alright now. Everything's gonna be okay," Kurt said quietly and Blaine could hear that he was smiling, the thought only making him tug Kurt tighter and smile himself.
"That we are, Doll-face. Everything's gonna be okay," Blaine confirmed and pressed a kiss to the top of Kurt's head.

It was with a simmering pot of nerves deep in his stomach that Blaine sat in his mom's living room the following day. Cooper and Sebastian were both there, holding each other's hands while Marilyn was tumbling around upstairs, playing in her room.
Kurt wasn't there. No, Blaine didn't want to subject Kurt to the kind of mayhem that could possibly break loose from what he was about to do. Besides, Kurt was busy packing for their trip to New York the next day. There was no reason for Blaine to steal him out of that.
"I'm going to New York tomorrow," Blaine said, twirling his glass in his fingers.
"You're in New York all the time. What's the real reason we're here?" Sebastian asked, not caring about the glance Cooper was sending him.
"When I go to New York tomorrow, I'll be taking Kurt with me. We're going to meet with a realtor. We're moving in together. In New York," Blaine told. He had already predicted the gasp from his mother, just as well as the arrogant chuckle from Cooper, so all he did was purse his lips and rolls his eyes.
"You really think that shagging up with that brat is gonna keep you young? You work in a business where you're too old when you hit 24. Look at yourself!" Cooper snarled mockingly.
"Cooper, please…" Sebastian mumbled and withdrew his hand before he looked to Blaine, a distraught expression filling up his face.
"Blaine, are you sure about this? I know the latest time hasn't been easy, but is this really a good idea? And - is this really what you want?" Sebastian asked, ignoring the cool daggers shooting from Cooper's eyes.
With a deep sigh Blaine got to his feet and started pacing the floors. He poured down a mouthful of wine as he looked out the window. He remembered when he grew up there and used to jump from the swing dangling from a branch on the big tree in the backyard to end in the big pool even though his parents told him not to. He did it to impress Cooper. Back when he was willing to break his own legs to make Cooper as much as notice him. That was a long time ago. Now it seemed like a lifetime ago, or maybe a complete other life of another person.
"I'm sure, okay? I'm sure that I wanna keep Kurt safe, and he isn't safe here. He never has been, and it was really just a matter of time before something drastic happened and spun the whole thing out of control," Blaine told and emptied his glass. He let the warmth of the drink sink down his throat and the dry feeling on his tongue settle.
"I'm doing this. This wasn't to ask for your blessing, or even for your advice. This was simply to let you know that I won't be here anymore. A family newsletter, if you want," Blaine declared and walked towards the door, not seeing any reason to stay any longer. He had done what he came for, and that was all he needed to do.
"Aren't you gonna say something, mom? You're just gonna let him walk out of here to let that kid take him away?" Cooper asked, his voice different and unclear, nothing like Blaine had ever heard it before, yet he still didn't stop. He simply continued his walk to the kitchen while his mom and brother continued arguing in the living room.
"Blaine, please don't leave."
Blaine turned around to see Sebastian having followed him. He put his empty glass down, leaning against the kitchen counter, waiting to hear what he could have to say.
"Please… think about Marilyn. You're killing her by moving away," Sebastian begged, even his eyes pleading.
"What you're saying is that I'm killing you, by moving away," Blaine sighed, sick of this same old dance over and over again. He was just about to walk out when Sebastian sat on a chair, burying his face in his hands.
"I have tried so hard. I just… don't love him," Sebastian sobbed into his hands.
"No! No, no, no! You are not pulling that shit now! I refuse to keep being a piece in your sick little game!" Blaine snapped at him, flexing his jaws and grinding his teeth.
"It's okay, Blaine. The only thing I really needed to be better at than you was having Sebastian… And even though I treated him better than you ever did, I couldn't do that right," a tired voice sounded, and Blaine looked up to see Cooper having come down the hall to enter the kitchen with them.
With a heavy breath Cooper crossed the kitchen floor to sit down next to Sebastian. He gently pulled him closer and scooped him into his arms, caressing his back and cooing comforting sounds into his ear, even if all Blaine could see on his face was distorted pain.
The one thing in the world wonder child Cooper wanted more than anything was the one thing he couldn't have.
Blaine squeezed his eyes tight before walking down the hall with hasty steps. He didn't even slam the door behind him, simply got into his car and drove. He drove all the way to the other end of town before stopping. He parked outside the familiar house, white with black roof and trims. He knew that house inside and out now.
When he knocked he couldn't stand still, all he could do was move back and forth on the spot, shifting his weight between his feet. However, when the door was opened a suction overtook his stomach.
"Blaine, shouldn't you b -" Kurt started saying but was cut off by Blaine's mouth pressing firmly onto his own, both hands on his face and an eager need controlling his lips.
"Kurt, I love you so much. God I love you."
The words tumbled out of his mouth, one more eager for entering the air than the next. All he could think about was how he would feel if he had to be the one sitting there to comfort Kurt crying over somebody else. He would mostly likely kill himself by drinking.
For the first time in his life he felt sorry for his brother. For the first time in his life he felt like he could forgive him for the way he had been treating him over the years.
"I love you too. What's going on? Are you okay?" Kurt asked nervously, looking around to search for what could have caused this sudden outburst.
"I'm okay. I'm okay. I just had to tell you that. I uhm… I'll pick you up tomorrow, alright? At ten," Blaine said, a finger running down Kurt's chin, smiling at him. With a squeeze to Kurt's hand Blaine turned around and walked back to his car, leaving Kurt completely perplexed on the doorstep.
With an easy heart and a smile on his face, Blaine could drive home to pack his things so all would be ready for his trip to the gym in the morning and straight to pick up Kurt after. What he was doing was the only right thing for him. And for his family.
Everything's gonna be okay," Blaine confirmed and pressed a kiss to the top of Kurt's head.
xXx
