Author's Notes: So sorry for the delay and also for this being such a short chapter. ---

Ever since Santana's body was found, Kurt had not gone to school. Well he had actually not done anything, but stay in bed all night and day. He had known that Santana was dead, really he did, but them actually finding her body had made it that much more real, and it sucked. He misses her so much. She was his best friend, he told her everything and now, now she's gone and he will never get the chance to talk to her again.

Kurt didn't even want to move, but he knew he had to. Today was Santana's funeral and he needed to go and say his goodbyes. He knew if he didn't go he would never forgive himself and not going was never an option anyway.

Pulling himself out of bed, Kurt moved around the room getting ready. He put on his only black tux, brushed his teeth and hair and made his way downstairs, where his dad was calling him from.

Kurt saw his dad waiting by the door once he got all the way downstairs. His dad gave him a small smile that didn't reach his eyes, before opening the door and motioning for everyone to make their way out the house. Kurt hopped into the back seat of the car along with Finn.

Kurt doesn't talk much as they make their way to the church for the funeral; he has just been staring blankly out the window, watching all the houses pass.

Twenty minutes after leaving their house, the Hummel-Huston's are at the church. The funeral still has about ten or so minutes until it starts, so once they are in the church Kurt tells his dad he needs to go and take a walk around the church to clear his head.

Kurt is started on the stairs case looking out the window, thinking about all the time he had with Santana before she got taken away, when he hears someone come walking up the stairs. Kurt turns to see who it is and to his surprise it's Blaine. He is taken back for moments, until Blaine starts to speak.

"Was she a friend of yours?" Blaine asks, hesitantly.

Kurt moved his head, in a tinny nod motion. "Do you really even care?" He knows he is being harsh, but he can't help it, after all his feelings are still hurt by, Mr. Anderson. But Kurt sees the hurt look on Blaine's face, and it makes him wish he had never said it.

Blaine hesitates a brief moment before speaking, "You know, I don't know what I feel worse about," He takes a breath, "having to stay away from you or me being a jerk about it." He finally finishes.

Kurt looked down, chewing on his bottom lip, a few seconds, before turning his fell body and attention toward Blaine. "Yeah, she was one of my best friends." He says, holding back the tears that want to fall.

"I'm sorry, "Blaine replies.

Kurt's looking at Blaine like he has two heads. He's not really sure if Blaine's is apologizing because he is sorry Kurt had lost a dear friend or if it's because Blaine had been such an asshole to Kurt. "For what?" Kurt questions, "for Santana or for being a jerk?" He asks with a shrug.

"Both," Blaine said without hesitation. Kurt could tell that Blaine meant it, just by the intense look of worry in his eyes. Was it worry that he was hoping Kurt would forgive him or something else?

A small, weak smile came to Kurt's face. He was really glad Blaine was sorry, Kurt had been hurting for weeks about what had happened between them, and maybe now he could finally move on, with the closure he so needed. "Thank you," Kurt said, actually meaning it.

Nothing else was said for several moments, they just both stood their staring into each other's eyes, wishing they had the courage to say things they really wanted at that moment, but they couldn't, it was wrong.

Finally they silence got too much for Kurt, "I would never want to do anything that would get you in trouble."

Blaine just smiled at that, not knowing what to say.

Kurt leans in and plants a kiss on Blaine's cheek. He hears Blaine take a deep breath in as he is pulling away.

Kurt looks back up to Blaine's face and smiles sadly at him, "Goodbye, Blaine." He whispers, before he starts walking toward the stairs that is all before he feels Blaine grab his arm, turning him around and crashing their lips together.

This chapter may have been short but it was really good. I am glad that Blaine and Kurt were able to talk and that Blaine decided to apologize for how he acted. I can't wait to see what happens next.
