"Hey, Liz." Ryan Lopez pulled up on his black motorcycle with red flames that were painted on.
"Hi, Ryan! Where we going?" Elizabeth Hummel-Anderson and Ryan were polar opposites. Everyone could understand what he saw in her; she was beautiful, smart, kind, and innocent. However, no one understood why she liked him. He was handsome, all right, but also rude, conceited, and not the sharpest tool in the shed.
"Mall. I know it's stupid as f***, but I need a new phone."
Meanwhile, Kurt and Blaine Hummel-Anderson watched their daughter from the window. "Lizzie," Kurt breathed. "You deserve so much better than this."
At the mall, the couple walked around. Lizzie wanted to go into Barnes and Noble, but Ryan convinced her it was "stupider than her stupid gay parents."
"Ry, can we go get Harry Potter books now?" Lizzie asked.
"NO!" he screamed. "I mean, no, Liz, that's retarded. Let's go get you some real clothes."
After their shopping trip, Ryan took Lizzie home. "Bye."
"B-bye, Ryan." Once he was gone, Lizzie whispered, "I love you."
Lizzie entered the house sorrowfully, as she often did after her dates with Ryan. "Hi, Daddy. Hi, Papa."
"Hey, Liz. What's wrong?" Kurt asked.
"Nothing."
"Liz! We need to talk," Blaine stopped his daughter and had her sit on the couch. "Elizabeth, when you were born we had certain dreams for you. Goals that we hoped you could achieve. We wanted the world for you. When Ryan came into your life, we were cautious at first, naturally. I mean, our daughter had her first crush! He was sweet, though, and good to you. And then his mom, Brittany, passed away. Ryan wasn't the same after that. And your dad and I have seen how he makes you feel, and heard what he says to you, and that's not the same Ryan we met all those years ago. We... we don't like it, Lizbiz, and we don't think you should date him any more."
"WHAT!?!? You may be my dads, but one right you don't have is the right to tell me who I can and can not date! Ryan loves me, and actually cares about me! I HATE YOU!" Lizzie ran up to her room, crying. She looked at her clock and saw it was 11:11. "I wish they never met!"

Lizzie groaned and crawled out of bed. Well, she tried to. She opened her eyes and saw... no bed. She was laying on the floor in a strange place. One noteworthy thing Lizzie discovered about her surroundings was that there was dozens of doors. She was thinking about going through one of them when an old lady swooped down. That was when Lizzie decided that this was a dream.
"Elizabeth Maria Hummel-Anderson. You have made a wish on the eleventh minute of the eleventh hour after noon of the nineteenth day in the month of August, in the year two thousand and forty-seven. Is this date correct?" Lizzie nodded fervently. There was no way to describe the old lady's voice. It was similar to Alan Rickman's in that she could narrate your funeral and you would like it. But it was also weary, like she'd done this too many times.
Lizzie looked around and saw many sleeping figures. They were young and old, boys and girls, rich and poor, but all children. When she tried to ask the old lady about them, she whispered, "Hush, child. We are preparing your doors. In a moment, you will pass through one of these doors and experience what is behind. Yes, all of these children had the same wish as you. Each child in here has wished that their parents never met."
"So, what's with the doors?" Lizzie asked.
"Each of these doors represents a different scenario. You will step through a door and experience that world for one day. Through one of the doors, life is just like you know it. However, that door will stay locked until you have learned a lesson."
"But I have learned my lesson!" Lizzie whined. "I appreciate my dads. Can I go home now?"
"No, Elizabeth. You must go." With that, Lizzie stepped through a random door.

This time, Lizzie actually did jump out of bed. She saw a man who looked mildly familiar talking to her papa.
"Good morning, sleepy-head!" Papa greeted. "Daddy and I were just talking about what movie to watch tonight. He wants Little Mermaid, of course."
"Is it my fault I happen to like characters that share a name with me?"
"Sebastian?"
By the way, I own nothing.
