It was just an average Sunday for Blaine. He was in his tightest black skinny jeans, black button down shirt, black apron and black converse. Also seeing as it was the weekend he always liked to have his hair free of its gel cage and just let his curls hang in any direction they wanted. Also he had let his stubble grow out and managed to top up on some fake tan just in case someone recognised him. He put in his blue contacts and started. Now he was ready to take on an average day at Scandals the local gay club. I know what you’re probably thinking ‘he’s only 17. What is he doing in a club selling alcohol when you have to be 21 to purchase such a thing?’ Well Blaine was very good friends with the owner of the club and he was very impressed with his bar skills and charisma. So he got him fake application details so that he wouldn’t get found out about hiring a minor to serve any alcohol. Blaine didn’t mind the questions he got from class mates when he might have had three day stubble or looked like he had just come back from a 2 week stay at Miami beach.

He’d just finished serving a customer when he spots him. A guy that looks totally out of place in this club but Blaine never questioned a customer. His hair looked a dark brown under the light in the club. He was wearing a white button down shirt and also a very tight pair of black jeans. Blaine noticed that he didn’t have a drink in his hand so decided that he should serve him before another barman noticed. So Blaine walked over suavely and coughed to get the guys attention.

“Excuse me, would you like anything to drink darling” Blaine asked when the man finally turned around to face him. Blaine was suddenly taken back by the beauty of the guy that was now facing him. His eyes were a sapphire blue. His beautifully coifed hair shaped his face perfectly. He also had a toothy smile that made the dimples of his cheeks sink in deeply so that they were very clear to anyone around.

“I will have a Shirley Temple please” he answered in a voice that could melt butter. Blaine yet again couldn’t help but lose track in his thoughts for a moment from the perfection which was in front of him. He quickly remembered that he needed to get the drink so he set off. He firstly added in 3oz of lemon and lime soda to 3oz of ginger ale in the cocktail shaker with some ice cubes. Next he added in a dash of grenadine then put the cap on and made his work at shaking the cocktail perfectly but not before he added in a few bar tricks which he had learnt growing up. Once finished mixing he poured the contents into a Collins glass filled with ice cubes and garnished the drink with a maraschino cherry. He walked back to the mystery man and placed down the drink.

“I hope you enjoy the drink” Blaine told the guy as he was accepting his payment. Quickly the guy drunk the drink in one go which left Blaine gobsmacked. Quickly the man stood up and walked onto the dance floor and all Blaine could do was stare at his petit and perfect ass in those tight jeans. But suddenly all thoughts were taken out of his mind when he saw that the guy was just dragging an overly drunk guy with a mowhawk off of the dance floor and out of the entrance.

Blaine watched as they left. He felt a slight pang in his heart seeing as he could tell that if the guy on the dance floor was in fact the mystery man’s boyfriend that he wasn’t in a good relationship. Seeing as the man with the mowhawk was grinding up against everything that crossed his path on the dance floor. Blaine quickly moved on from the fantasy of maybe seeing the guy again and started serving the other customers waiting at the bar for him.

His shift was just over at 1:00am. Luckily he was always allowed to stay and have a few drinks as long as the majority were non-alcoholic and the minority were alcoholic. Seeing as he does have one of the longest shifts the owner does like to give him the same privileges as the rest of the legal aged staff. He was just sitting at the bar enjoying his second beer when he was interrupted by a hand on his shoulder. He quickly turned around to see who the mysterious hand belonged to. As he looked up at the tall figure he smiled recognising that unmistakeable face.

“Hey buddy” he exclaimed as he hugged the mystery figure and without another question the two were just having an ordinary conversation. Little did Blaine know what that supposed friend was doing to his drink every time he had his back turned. Let’s just say that Blaine left that club a little tipsier than he should’ve been especially seeing as he was underage and working behind that exact same bar every weekend.
