Review :D

Kurt continued to stare at Blaine as if he were a stranger with wide eyes and parted lips. Blaine took a step back in shock and shook his head back and forth. No. No, this isn't happening…

Kurt shifted on the bed slightly and looked at Blaine in confusion.

“Who- who are you?” Kurt asked, opening and closing his eyes rapidly. Blaine felt like crying. This was the last thing that he wanted to happen and the thing that he kept telling himself wasn't going to happen. Now look where he is. His soulmate, the one and only true love of his life doesn't even remember him.

“Kurt,” Blaine cooed. He struggled to admit the fact that this was actually happening. He kept pinching himself over and over again trying to wake up from this nightmare. He took a couple of steps back before turning and running out of the room. He ran down the hall and into the lobby. He kept running out into the street and to the side of the hospital. He couldn't stop, he didn't want to stop. He ran until he didn't know where else to go. He stopped and leaned on the side of the hospital, panting. He slumped down to the ground and buried his head into his hands. He sobbed into his sweaty palms and let out struggled cries. Kurt doesn't remember me, Blaine kept replaying in his mind. He cried and cried until there were no more tears left. He just sat there, curled up into a ball. He silently wished that he had the courage to go back into Kurt's room, but what would he say-- Hey my name is Blaine and we're boyfriends? No.

Blaine got up almost falling over and slowly made his way back into the hospital. He walked down the hall and stopped in front of Kurt's room. He exhaled audibly and pushed the door open, peeking his head in to make sure there wasn't a nurse inside. When he found that the room was empty aside from Kurt's pale body on the bed, he let himself in and quietly closed the door behind him. Kurt looked up and backed up instantly trying to get away from Blaine. Blaine stopped where he was beside the door and crossed his arms, leaning against the wall for support. He examined Kurt's face. The way he was truly afraid of Blaine. The terror on his face. Blaine's heart dropped heavily inside his chest. Kurt spoke.

“I'm going to ask you one more time. Who the hell are you?” Kurt asked. Blaine walked closer and Kurt froze entirely. He pulled up a chair, sat beside Kurt's bed, and put his head in his hands. He rubbed up his sore eyes before he looked up.

“Kurt, yesterday we went out on a date,” Kurt's eyes widened, blush appearing on his face.

“We.. we're.. you're my..” Kurt stammered. Blaine nodded and continued.

“We went to the lilac meadow a few miles outside of New York boarders and had a picnic,” Blaine let out a few short breaths. “When we were driving back, it began to rain really hard. When I started getting stressed and worried, you- you smiled at me and I looked at you for a few seconds. And when I looked back onto the road, a truck was right there,” Blaine tried not to look in his eyes. He looked every where but his eyes. When he finally did look at Kurt, he was greeted with a blank stare.

“I'm sorry…” Kurt said, looking away.

“My name is Blaine Anderson,” he said. Kurt smiled weakly.

“It's nice to meet you, Blaine,” Kurt said. Blaine let out a frustrated groan and got up. He started pacing and banged his head against the wall a couple of times. Kurt watched him from his head slightly tilted, eyebrows furrowed.

“Blaine?” Kurt tried to get his attention. Blaine looked at Kurt, cheeks red and eyes tired.

“Kurt, you're my boyfriend and you don't even remember me! You don't even remember me…” Blaine started crying and dropped down to the floor.

Kurt didn't know what to do. He sat there watching, not sure what to say. He grabbed the box of tissues from the side table and tossed them over to Blaine. Blaine looked up and grabbed a tissue, glancing up at Kurt.

“We talked about spending the rest of our lives together. We talked about auditioning for Broadway together. We talked about retiring together. We talked about moving to Europe together. We talked about dying together. Kurt, you're my everything and now…” Blaine lifted his hands as if to say ‘what's left?'

This was all too much for Kurt. We doesn't remember any of the things he's claiming happened. Kurt opened his mouth a few times, closing them at the last second when he wasn't sure how to say what he wants to say.

“Blaine, I'm sorry that I can't remember you. I just, I've never met you in my entire life,” Kurt said, slouching down into the firm pillow. Blaine smiled and got up.

“I know,” Blaine walked up to Kurt and kissed his forehead. Kurt tensed beneath him and then relaxed into Blaine's touch. He doesn't remember him, but he was sure that he could try to pick up where they left off on their journey. Blaine stood up straight and exited. When he stepped out into the hallway he saw a bald man and a petite woman coming toward him and the room. The man had on a mechanics uniform and he had car grease on his hands. He was bustling down the hallway with the woman in tow. She had blond-red hair with a yellow summer dress that was following behind her. Burt and Carole. They reached Kurt's room and threw the door open, walking straight to the bed. The last thing Blaine saw before the door closed was Carole kneeling down beside the bed, brushing Kurt's hair out of his face.

At least he remembers them, Blaine thought as he turned away and walked down the hallway.
