Please review.
Blaine stood in the studio for a while before walking out and locking up. He was thankful to have Sam as a friend. He always gave him his space which was thoughtful and considerate.
Blaine walked home slowly and lazily back home. He looked down at his shoes while he walked. Hands in his pockets and head hung low. He couldnt stop thinking about Kurt and his memory. He knew that Kurt had no choice but to go with his parents, but couldnt he just try to stay with Blaine? Just until he couldnt handle it anymore?
Blaine shook his head and pulled out his phone. He saw that there were a few missed calls and a couple of voice messages. He looked at the screen in confusion and opened up the voicemail. They first one was from Wes.
Hey dude. Its Wes. I was wondering when you were going to see Kurt again. I would really like to visit him with you next time. Call me back if you have an answer.
The next one was from Sam.
Bro, youre late. Cmon now. Keep it together. Now, hurry up before our customers get impatient.
The next one was from... Kurt?
Hey, Baby! I just got out of class and I was wondering when you would get off work so you could pick me up. Maybe we could, ya know, go back to our place and have a little fun. Ive been dying to see you and I miss you so, so much. So, um, call me back, sweetheart. I love you.
Blaines eyes started filling with tears and he brought his hand down from his face. He shoved the phone in his pocket before sprinting home and plopping himself down in the bed.
He dragged a pillow from beside his head and pushed it against his face, trying desperately to muffle his sobs. He laid there for a few minutes before realizing something, sitting up in bed quickly. He ran a hand through his hair and jumped out of the bed. He didnt bother grabbing his bag as he picked up his keys and rushed outside. He slid into his car and drove quickly to the hospital, maybe breaking a few laws in the hast of it all.
Once he was parked outside of the hospital, he sprinted trough the double doors. He managed to slide into the elevator before it closed, pushing the button for the eighth floor. He shook impatiently in the elevator whilst a man with red hair stared at him in bewilderment. The door opened on the eight floor and he got out as fast as he could, stopping in front of Kurts room.
He slowly opened the door with one hand and walked in. Kurt was packing his clothes, and his parents were beside him talking to him softly.
When Blaine walked in Burt stood up from his seat next to the window and spoke.
"What are you doing here Blaine? I thought we made it clear that Kurt is going home with us," Blaine snarled at him and walked over to Kurt. Kurt eyed him suspiciously, taking a step back. Blaine pulled out his phone and opened up the voice mail.
"What are you-" Kurt started.
"I have proof, Kurt. Proof that we were together. Proof that you loved me, and that we were happy," Blaine said, putting the phone on speaker. Kurts voice filled the room through the phone. The message played and all the while, Kurt was looking at Blaine softly, lips parted. When the message ended with I love you, Burt walked over to his son.
"Surely that says nothing. Kurt is still coming home with us," Burt said disapprovingly. Blaine gripped the phone tightly. Anger boiling in his chest.
"Dad, will you stop talking?" Kurt said, taking the phone out of his hand and scrolling through the pictures. There were pictures of him and Blaine together at the movies. There were pictures of Blaine holding Kurts hand.
Kurt stopped at one where Kurts arm was wrapped around Blaines waist and Blaine was kissing his cheek softly. Kurt handed the phone back to Blaine, shaking his head.
"I.. Id like to go back home," Kurt said. Blaine looked down shamefully. Not only had he made a fool of himself, but Kurt didnt even want to go with him.
"With Blaine."
Blaines head shot up in surprise and a deep blush stained his cheeks. He could feel the ends of his lips tilting upward. He looked at Kurt and took his hand. Kurt pulled away quickly, much to Blaines dismay.
"We will just take this.. one step at a time," Kurt said, zipping up his bag and setting it on the floor. He looked at his dad who was still standing next to him. His brows were furrowed together and his hands were clasped tightly in front of them. Carole was standing farther away with a piercing gaze settled on Blaine.
Blaine shivered and looked away. Kurt put his hand on Burts shoulder.
"Its okay, Dad. I can take care of myself. If Blaine proves to be a douche then Ill come live with you guys," Kurt said, pecking his cheek and then doing the same with Carole. He picked up his bag and walked to the door.
"So, where do we live?" Kurt asked uncomfortably. Blaine smiled and grabbed the bag that was in his hand. He walked out with Kurt in tow.
Maybe things arent so bad after all, Blaine thought as the elevator doors shut behind them.
