“Did I tell you about his lashes?”

Kurt was lying on his stomach in his bed looking at his textbook and not paying attention to it.

“Yes. Yes, you did sweetie.” Teya sighed trying to get some work done herself.

“They are insane. They are so long and perfect and I don’t know how a person can even…”

“… have lashes like that.” she finished his sentence. He shot her a dirty look and pulled one of his pillows from underneath him to throw at her. “Stop doing that!” he giggled. The thing hit her side and she picked it up to lie on top of it. “You, Mister. You should be studying.” she told him in a commanding tone.

“I know. I am. I’m almost getting stuff done. It’s just everytime I try to memorize a paragraph, I think of his jaw, or the way his eyes sparkle in the lights or the way his hand feels in mine or when …”

“You’re doing it again.” she interrupted him calmly, not looking up from her textbook.

Kurt groaned in frustration and let his head fall on the pages before him. “This is insane, how do people ever get anything done in this state. I can’t even think straight.”

His phone made a beep and he jumped off his bed to get it.

“There was a reason you put it over there. So you could concentrate. Remember?” Kurt just shushed her and grinned at his phone quickly typing a response.

“He’s thinking of me.” he reported.

“Of course he is.” Teya mumbled to herself as Kurt lay back on his bed placing his book on his face. “God, this is boring, I can’t do this anymore.

She looked up again and took a deep breath. “You’ll be fine Kurt. Since, until two days ago, studying was your only calling in life, you’ll pass the exams perfectly as always. Stop complaining and just be quiet. I for once, had a social life the entire semester. Consequently, I don’t have a clue what this entire page is even about.”

Kurt decided to shut his mouth and started going through the possible outfits he would need for the weekend. Since Blaine’s last exam would be on Saturday in the afternoon, they decided to leave on Sunday as early as possible. Kurt had already planned outfits and back up plans for the first 3 days. He was still debating on whether to bring a swimsuit. He did own a fabulous one, of course. He just never wore it. It was black and not very tight, yet in a material that didn’t create any ugly wrinkles. It completely concealed any lack of a package. Kurt had paid attention to that, thank you very much. He was still a little uncomfortable with wearing it though. Mainly because of the possibility of other people on the beach, but he also didn’t want Blaine to have a constant reminder of his boyfriend’s condition.

“Hey, I forgot to ask. Are you okay with us sharing a bedroom? Or would you like a separate one? Either is fine with me. I just need to tell them so they know how many to set up.” – Blaine

Oh. Kurt stared at his phone. Apparently he had not thought this through as well as he thought he had. He could share a bed with Blaine. A light tingling shot through his body at the thought of that. They could hold hands while they were falling asleep or they could cuddle a little.

Separate bedrooms seemed like an absurd idea, they were boyfriends after all.

“Sharing one is fine with me :).” – Kurt

But what if.

Kurt suddenly froze. What if Blaine wanted more than just cuddling? What if sharing a bed was already code for something? Kurt panicked, his breathing quickened and he sat up again staring at his phone. What if that had been Blaine’s plan all along? For them to get closer? He started turning his phone in his palm and shifted on the spot. He looked over at Teya who was staring into her book, then down on his phone again, then back at her.

She suddenly sighed and looked up at him again. “What is it Kurt? Stop fidgeting!”

“What if Blaine wants me to have sex with him this weekend?” he blurted out. He jumped to his feet and started pacing.

“Uhm. Well, would that be a problem for you?” she asked carefully, closing her book.

“Yes of course that would be a problem” he shot back and sat down again looking at his hands.

“I’m.. I’m not ready for anything yet.” he added quietly.

“Oh…” she answered raising her eyebrows. “Well, then just tell him that, I’m sure he’ll understand.”

Kurt thought about admitting that to Blaine beforehand. Just imagining that conversation made him blush. “Yes, I guess. I should do that.” he answered and sighed, burying his face in his hands.

“God. I’m such a bore.” he mumbled.

“What? No, you’re not, stop that.” she got up and started to peel his fingers off his face. “Wanting to wait doesn’t make you a bore. It just means that it’s important to you.”

Kurt nodded a little and looked up at her.  He whispered something that she couldn’t understand.

“What? You need to speak up, honey.” she told him sitting down at the foot of his bed.

“What’s it like?” he said again, barely audible.

Her forehead wrinkeld in confusion. “What do you mean? What is what like?”

Suddenly her eyes widened as she realized. “Oh. You mean what is sex like?”

He nodded blushing, suddenly very interested in the pattern of his blanket. She stayed quiet for a while, thinking over her answer.

“Well… it’s wonderful, I guess.” she said then. “I mean it takes some time to get into it. And for girls it hurts a little at first. But that’s different for boys.” she added, patting his thigh.

He coughed and crossed his legs. “Uhm. Yeah. Of course it is.” he answered.

“See? So, you’ll be fine then.” she added and looked at him encouragingly. He nodded, so she got up to continue the quizzical stares into her textbook.

“I, uhm. I better get back to studying then.” Kurt said awkwardly and returned to his desk.

He decided to push that thought away for the night and actually got some studying done. And so did Blaine, as it seemed, since he didn’t text much more.
