Author's Notes:

Thanks for reading. xx

It was rather snowy at this time of year.

Blaine looked out the fogged windows of the store he was in and saw the streets covered in a blanket of a winter wonderland.

It was Christmas Eve and he was just doing a little extra Christmas shopping. Buying gifts he may havent purchased yet.

He didnt have that many things to get but he needed to get away from his family for a while.

Blaine wasnt really in the Christmas spirit this year. Heck, hes been in a bad mood for the past five years.

Ever since he came out to his parents when he was fifteen.

He lives in New York now but every year his parents make him come back to celebrate holidays and what not.

Blaine looked into his cart. Hes pretty sure hes missing some items but he shrugged it off.

He got in line. There was this little boy with chestnut color hair and looked about seven or eight years old in front of him.

The kid was now starting beg and plead to the cashier.

"I wanna buy these shoes.. There gonna be for my mama.." The kid piped up.

"Thatll be twenty dollars and sixty four cents, kid."

The kids eyes widened and started to panic, checking his pockets for loose change.

"Im sorry.. Ive only got six dollars" he mumbled shoving the money onto the counter.

Blaine looked at the kid, sighing softly.

"Im sorry, kid, thats not enough."

"But.. But please.. Daddy says there is not much time.. Mama has been sick for quit some time and I need her to look good.. If she meets Jesus tonight.." He said, giving the cashier a sad, watery-eyed smile.

"Kid, I said Im sorry but-"

Blaine pushed his cart to the side and pulled out his wallet, laying the rest of the money onto the conveyer belt.

"Here, Ill pay for the rest of it."

Blaine watched as the kids eyes lit up with happiness.

"Thank you so much, sir" He exclaimed. "Mama is gonna look so beautiful."

The cashier nodded, and bagged the shoes in a bag, handing it to the blue eyed child.

He grabbed the bag from the cashier and started to walk away before Blaine stopped him.

"Im sorry."

The kid looked confused. "What for? Mama is going to be so happy."

Blaine gave him a sad smile. "Im sure shes gonna look beautiful."

"Yeah.. Daddy said the doctor said she doesnt have much time left though.."

Blaine held in his tears as he listened to the boy.

"Thats why I wanted to get her these shoes.. Because if she meets Jesus.. I want her to look her most beautifulest."

"W-With the shoes that you picked out.. Im most certain she will." He said his hand on the boys shoulder comfortely. "Im Blaine."

The kid looked up at him and smiles softly. "Im Kurt."

"Well you better be getting home to your mama then, huh?"

Kurt nodded before hugging Blaine tightly.

"Thank you so much for everything, Blaine.." He said before rushing out of the store.

Blaine watched as the kid left, a small smile on his face.

He was starting to get into the Christmas spirit after all.. And all because of a blue eyed little boy named Kurt.
