A week later, Blaine was released from the hospital. I laid him down on the bed. His bandage was gone, exposing the stitches across his throat.
"Ill go make you some tea." I said once he was settled. I went to the kitchen and made his tea. I went back to the room.
"Be careful, its hot." I warned.
"I know." He said with a smirk. "Oh, you were talking about the tea."
I couldnt help but laugh at Blaines adorableness. He set the tea aside and I laid down next him, wrapping my arms around his torso. He started to play with the little hairs at the nape of my neck. Chills ran down my back.
I pushed myself up into a sitting position. I leaned down and kissed him. I traced his bottom lip with my tongue before jerking his mouth open. He gasped and I quickly pulled away. His hand flew to his throat and he winced in pain.
"Im so sorry." I exclaimed.
"Its okay." He said.
"No its not. I hurt you."
"Lets just take it slow for now." He suggested.
"Okay." Was all I said before giving him a small kiss on the lips.
I helped him sit up so he could take a sip of tea. Rachel walked into the room.
"Everything okay?" She asked.
"Yeah." Blaine replied. "Just a couple little injuries."
"Little." I scoffed. "What would you consider a big injury, then?"
"Losing you." He simply stated.
"Aww! I cooed before giving him a kiss.
"God, you guys are so sappy." Rachel mumbled. "What about the people who you said were after you?"
"We dont have to worry about them anymore." I exclaimed with a proud smile.
She smiled before leaving the room. I cuddled with Blaine burying my face in his neck.
A few weeks had passed. Blaine was out running errands. I wanted to go with him, but he insisted he had to go alone. When he came back, I ran to the door to give him a kiss.
"I have something for you." He said as he shut the door.
"What is it?" I asked.
He pulled a small black box out of his pocket.
"Kurt, I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you."
I gasped as he got down on one knee and flipped open the box to reveal a ring.
"So, will you do me the honor of becoming my husband?" He asked.
"Yes!" I exclaimed immediately.
He stood up. I grabbed his face and kissed him. He slid the ring onto my finger. I looked at it before looking at him again. I pressed my lips against his. I was excited to spend the rest of my life with him.
