I stood up and walked to him. The boy looked just as amazed to see me.

"Hi, Im Kurt." I said.

"Blaine." The boy replied. "I feel like I know you from somewhere."

"Me too." I said in awe.

Suddenly, Rachel walked up behind me.

"Hi, Im Kurts friend, Rachel." She said energetically.

"This is Blaine." I said, a little disappointed that Rachel interrupted.

"I need to talk to Kurt for a second." Rachel said.

Before I was able to protest, Rachel dragged me away until we were out of earshot.

"Thats the boy." Rachel said.

"I know."

"And he just happened to be here at the same time we were. Kurt, I think its fate." She exclaimed.

"Rachel, please. With my luck, hes probably straight." I said.

"Well, why dont you get to know him." I nodded. "Ill go ahead and go home and leave you two alone, then."

Rachel walked out of the coffee shop. I turned around and walked back to where Blaine was.

"What was that about?" Blaine asked with a smirk. I shook my head.

"youll think Im crazy."

"Try me." Blaine said.

I thought for a second before deciding to tell him.

"Last week I had a dream and you were in it." I explained.

Blaine raised an eyebrow. He opened his mouth to speak but I cut him off.

"You know what, just forget I ever said that." I said, blushing.

Blaine chuckled as I changed the subject.

"So, are... Are you gay?" I asked, making sure not to get my hopes up.

"Actually, yes I am." I tried to cover up my excitement. Maybe I did have a shot with this guy.

"Do you wanna go to a movie or something? I mean, I know we just met, but-"

"Movie it is." I said.

After the movie, Blaine drove me home where Rachel was waiting for me.

"Where have you been?" Rachel asked.

Then, she noticed the smile on my face. She knew what that smile meant. I was in love.

"I went to a movie with Blaine." I gushed as I walked to my room."Plus he is gay, so I might have a chance with him."

"Kurt, Im so happy for you." Rachel beamed.

"Maybe you were right about the whole fate thing."

I didnt really believe in fate or miracles, but I couldnt think of any other reason why this happened.

When I went to my room, I noticed the sketch still lying on the floor.I walked over to it and wrote the name Blaine at the top. I stored the sketch in a drawer, then sat down on my bed to watch TV.

The next day, Rachel walked into the living room to see me staring at my phone.

"Kurt?" My head jerked towards her. "What are you you doing?"

"Do you think its too soon to call him? I dont want to seem too clingy or desperate." I explained.

"You should call him." Rachel encouraged. "You like him, but you wont get anywhere if you give him space."

"Youre right." I picked up my phone and went to Blaines number in his contact list.

"Hi." Blaine said excitedly when he picked up the phone.

"Hey." I replied. "Do you want to hang out again sometime?"

"Sure. Im not doing anything today if that works for you."

"Okay. You wanna meet at the coffee shop?" I asked.

"Sounds good. Ill see you there." He said.

"Okay." Was all I was able to say.

I ended the call and rushed to my room to find something cute to wear. I knew this wasnt a date, but I still wanted to impress Blaine.

I picked out a red t-shirt, grey jeans, and a black scarf. I slipped into into my black combat boots. Before heading to the coffee shop, I tucked my necklace underneath my shirt. It was still oddly warm.

When I got to the coffee shop, I noticed that Blaine was already there waiting for me. "Hey." He greeted when I walked to him.

"Hi." I replied. We got our Coffee and sat down.

"So, how long have you lived in New York?" Blaine questioned.

"A few months. Im from Ohio."

Blaine almost spat out his coffee.

"Youre from Ohio?" I nodded. "So am I."

"What part of Ohio are you from? I asked.

"Westerville." He replied. "What about you."

"Lima."

We sat in silence until Blaine noticed something.

"Whats this?" He asked, his finger tracing the chain of my necklace. I pulled my necklace out for him to see.

"Its my necklace. Ive had it ever since I could remember."

He looked at the necklace in amazement before pulling out the necklace he was wearing. It was the exact same as mine. Maybe it was just a coincidence. You know, like when you go somewhere and you see someone wearing the exact same shirt as you. But then something dawned on me. What if it was the other half of my necklace? No, there was no way that was possible. Or was there?
