A huge smile spread across his face. I pulled him into my arms.

"Kurt, thats amazing." He exclaimed. "But how?"

"I dont know." I said. "I guess something changed when I almost died, but the important thing is that its gone and I dont have to worry about leaving you."

My eyes started to brim with happy tears.

He pulled my face close to his and kissed me.

"Well, you should probably go home." I sighed.

"No." He argued.

"Wont your parents get worried about you?"

"My parents dont care about me." He confessed. "Thats why theyre never home."

I didnt know what to say, so instead of saying anything, I just hugged him.

"I can ask my dad and Carole if you can live with us." I proposed.

"Really?" He asked.

"Really."

He brought me in for another Kiss.

A few days passed and it was finally time for me to go home. I got out of my hospital gown and got into regular clothes. When I was done, I left the bathroom and noticed my dad and Carole were waiting for me.

"Ready?" Carole asked.

"Yeah." I responded.

We went out to the car and went home.

"Blaines settled in at the house." Dad said.

"Okay."

I was excited Blaine was living with us.

When we got home, I noticed that the Christmas decorations were up. Then, I remembered that Christmas was a few weeks away. With all the stress of cancer from before, it was nice to finally relax and enjoy something for once. I smiled to myself.

"Welcome home." Finn exclaimed, giving me a hug.

Blaine came down the stairs. He came over to give me a hug. Then, he picked something up off the table.

"Your dad said to save this ornament for you to put on the tree."

He handed me the ornament. It was my moms perfume bottle. I found a branch on the tree and hung the ornament. I felt Blaine wrap his arms around my body. I put my hand on his arm.

"Ill go make dinner." Carole said as she went into the kitchen.I pulled Blaine over to the couch, sitting and cuddling up against him.

When dinner was ready, Blaine and I went to the kitchen to get our food. I noticed we were having spaghetti. It reminded me of the day I met Blaine. Oh, how things have changed since then.

We sat down at the table.

"Its nice to see you at the table again." Finn said to me.

"Its nice to be back."

"Kurt, I hope you realize how much I resented everything that happened between us during the first half of last year." He said.

"I have realized." I responded. "I realized when you told me you wouldnt let anyone lay a hand on me, after, at the beginning of the year, you were letting your friends throw me in the dumpster. I realized when you sang Just the Way You Are to me at the wedding, after, at the beginning of the year, you told me that you couldnt sing to a dude. I realized when I went into your room, and I saw the faggy lamp sitting on your dresser."

"Im glad you know." He said.

After dinner, Blaine and I went up to our room. We got into our pajamas and crawled into bed. I curled up beside him. Laying my head on his chest. He wrapped his arms around me.

A few weeks later, it was Christmas. Blaine woke me up with a kiss.

"Baby, its Christmas." He whispered in my ear.

"What time is it?"

"7 oclock." He stated.

"Geez, Blaine, why so early?" I groaned.

"Its Christmas." He repeated. "Cmon."

"I swear, Im dating a five year old." I mumbled

He pulled me out of bed. We went downstairs to see that everyone else was already up. Carole was in the kitchen making Christmas tree shaped pancakes. Finn and dad were in the living room watching TV.

"Good morning, boys." Carole said when she saw us. "The pancakes are almost ready."

We went to sit down on the couch until the pancakes were ready. After we ate breakfast, we opened gifts. I gave Blaine his gift first. He ripped off the wrapping paper and opened the box. He giggled. Inside the box was a bow tie.

"You can add it to your bow tie collection." I teased.

"Thank you." He said with a chuckle.

We opened all our presents, discovering the things we got.

"Theres one more gift." Blaine said as he pulled another gift out of his pocket. He handed it to me "I wanted to save this one for last."

I tore off the wrapping paper and opened the small box. Inside was a gold ring with a blue diamond.

"Its a promise ring." He explained. "I promise to always love you. To always be faithful to you. To make sure you realize how perfect you are. And to never make you feel unwanted."

I was speechless. He took the ring out of the box and slid it on to my finger. We stood up as I hugged him.

"Thank you."

Suddenly, Finn cleared his throat. We both looked at him. He pointed at the ceiling above our heads. We looked up to see that we were standing underneath a mistletoe.I put my hand on the back of Blaines neck and pulled him close. As I pulled him closer, he wrapped his arms around me. We kissed.
