The week went by fast. Saturday morning, I woke up feeling lightheaded. I got up from my bed. It felt like the room was spinning. I tried to go to my door, but my vision was blurry. Suddenly I felt myself falling. I blacked out before I hit the floor.
(Third person)
Finn, Carole, and Burt were eating breakfast, when they heard a thud come from upstairs."Ill go see whats going on." Finn said before going upstairs. He went to Kurts door and knocked."Hey, Kurt. Everything alright?"There was no answer. Finn opened the door and went into Kurts room. He saw Kurt lying on the floor."No." He gasped as he kneeled down beside Kurt. "Fuck! Cmon, little bro. Please, wake up."He felt his wrists for a pulse. There was barely one."Mom! Burt! Help!" He yelled as tears started to fall from his eyes.Carole and Burt ran through the doorway, gasping when they saw Kurt."We need to get him to the hospital." Finn said frantically. He lifted him into his arms as they rushed downstairs to the car. Finn slid in the backseat, laying Kurt across his lap. When they got to the hospital, they were able to get assistance right away. "Im afraid you have to wait in the waiting room." The doctor said. They went to sit down as the doctor took Kurt into another room. After a long moment of silence, Finn spoke up. "I feel like I havent really been a good enough brother." He said in a shaky voice. "I mean I tried to make up for how things were between us, and that horrible name that I called him. But what if he never realized how much I actually resented those things?" Carole wrapped her arms around her son. A silence fell over them as Finn stayed wrapped in his moms arms. Then, something occurred to Finn. "What about Blaine?" Finn asked. "Hell be worried when Kurt doesnt show up to school on Monday.""Why dont you call him?" Carole suggested. "You do have his number, right?""No. But I know Kurt does. His phone is somewhere in his room. Ill be right back."Finn went back to the house. He went up to Kurts room to look for his phone. He found it and went to Blaines number in the contacts. He pressed call."Hello." Blaine said when he picked up the phone."Hey, Blaine, this is Finn.""Wheres Kurt?" Blaine asked in a worried tone. There was silence. Finn felt a lump in his throat. He took in a ragged breath."Is Kurt alright? Please tell me hes alright." Blaine said anxiously, his voice sounding more frantic with each word."Hes in the hospital. I dont have many details on what exactly happened, but this morning, I was downstairs when I heard a thud come from upstairs. I went to Kurts room to see him lying on the floor. He barely had a pulse." Finn explained. It felt as if someone just punched Blaine in the stomach. He had nothing to say. He hung up the phone, throwing it across the room. He collapsed on his bed and cried. This couldnt be happening. Blaine didnt want to believe it. He wanted to believe that he would go to school on Monday and see Kurt walk into the café, looking perfect as ever. But as much as Blaine wanted to deny it, this was happening. Kurt was possibly on his deathbed.
Finn went back to the hospital."Did I miss anything?" He asked."No." Burt said.He sat down."How did Blaine take the news?" Carole asked."Not very good." Finn said. They were all silent, each consumed by their own thoughts. Finn couldnt help but feel bad for Blaine. He put himself in Blaines shoes, imagining that it was him getting a call saying that Rachel was on her deathbed. He wouldve taken it badly too. And if Kurt didnt make it... He shook his head, clearing his mind of that thought. He didnt want to think that way right now.Suddenly, the doctor came out to the waiting room."Is he okay?" Burt asked."We got his pulse almost back to normal, but hes in a coma. We dont know when, or if hell wake up." The doctor stated."Can we see him?" Finn asked. The doctor nodded and lead them to Kurts room.
