Melody hated getting dressed. She was screaming her little head off to the point were her face looked like a tomato. Kurt tried to coo her as Blaine pulled the onesie over her head but, nothing would sooth her at this point except for food. Kurt grabbed the bottle and slowly guided it into her mouth. She whimpered slowly relaxing and drinking her bottle. "Shhh." Kurt soothed, rocking her slowly back and forth. She closed her eyes relaxing.

Blaine chuckled zipping the suit case. Today they would be checking out of the hospital and bring  little melody home. "Ok I have the laptop, iPod, books, DVDs...am I missing anything?" Blaine asked taking a seat next to his husband rubbing a hand over Melody's curly hair.

"Nope, I don't think so. Can you grab her socks and hat? I don't want her to get cold." Her poor little hands and legs were turning purple. Kurt wrapped the pink blanket around her as she continued to suck down the milk.

Blaine nodded slipping the clothing onto his little angel. "She sure likes that bottle."

"Yeah I know. She hasn't made a peep since I gave it to her." Kurt giggled.

Blaine smiled giving his husband a peck. "We have our own little family now."

"I know." Kurt beamed. "I just wish the doctor would sign these damn papers so we could leave."

"Me to. I just can't believe she came out of you! Your amazing."

Kurt blushed giving him a cute smile. "Well I couldn't of done it without you."

Blaine smirked at Kurt's comment as they fell into a comfortable silence. "Her eyes are breath taking. There just like yours."

Kurt smiled. "They would have been pretty if they were yours to though. I love your big hazel eyes."

"Well there's always next time right?"

"Next time?" Kurt questioned. Of course he wanted a big family but, they never really discussed it before.

"Well...of course if we have another."

"Let's cross that road when we get to it." Kurt grinned.

"Aw I see your feeding her." Dr. Shultz said walking into the room.

"Yep." Kurt said proudly.

"Well lets sign some papers and you guys can hit the hay."

------------------------------------------------------------

Kurt was holding his baby girl as the nurse wheeled him out to the parking lot. Blaine took the baby from Kurt, buckling her into her seat she got from Finn and Rachel. Kurt hopped in the back to keep an eye on her as Blaine took shot gun. Melody slept the whole ride down

"She's finally home." Kurt whispered as Blaine unlocked the door to the apartment and pushed it open. He then glanced to Blaine with a small smile, unable to believe that this day was actually here. They were actually bringing their baby girl home with them for the first time.

"It's sort of surreal, isn't it?"  Blaine whispered before glancing down at Melody, who was snoozing away in her infant car seat. "After waiting all these months and then waiting at the hospital.. and now she's actually home..." He shook his head slightly and glanced back to Kurt, who was looking a little teary eyed.

Kurt smiled slightly and took a deep breath. "I know." He said softly.

Smiling, Blaine trailed after his husband with Melody in her carrier and their bag of baby things from the hospital, finding he was extremely glad to be home. He hadn't left the hospital once since the baby was born and after days of showering and sleeping there, he was so happy to be in their own apartment again.

"You know what?" Kurt suddenly spoke up from where he was at the couch, slowly lowering himself into a sitting position. "It's kind of weird to think that the last time I was here... I was pregnant. And now I'm not anymore and our daughter is right here in front of us."

"I bet that does feel kind of strange." Blaine blinked before gently placing the baby carrier on the floor by the couch. He figured they could just leave Melody in there since she was sleeping (and he didn't want to disturb her) and they could get her out when she woke up. He then joined his husband on the couch and let out a sigh, finding that it was so much more relaxing to be in their own home.

"Mhmm." Kurt hummed, watching Melody with a small smile. Even though she was sleeping, he just loved to watch her because she was just so, so perfect and it just made him incredibly happy to think that she was finally here and she was healthy.

With a small sigh, Blaine moved to sit down on the couch with his husband, knowing that the silence in their apartment was going to become rare here soon and they should enjoy it now- they did have a newborn, after all, who would be growing into a noisy toddler before they knew it. But that would still be great and he was looking forward to their time with their little girl.

"Oh, I think she's waking up." Kurt said softly as he watched Melody move in her car seat, seeming to be stretching. She let out a little yawn before moving again and opening her eyes, clearly awake now and ready to get out of her seat. "Hi, angel." Her father cooed.

Blaine got up, deciding to pick Melody. "Hi, sweetie." He said happily as he carefully removed her from the seat, chuckling as she stretched even more. "Did you have a nice nap? You were snoozing for quite a while."

From where he sat on the couch, Kurt watched his husband and daughter with a smile, absolutely loving the sight in front of him. Blaine was already great with the baby and he was so happy to see that their daughter seemed so content with him, too. "She seems pretty happy that Papa is holding her." He murmured.

Blaine smiled. He loved being a dad. Nothing in the world was better then this feeling he had. NOTHING. He created this little human, and she was perfect.
