Kurt was Napping as Blaine rubbed his back. It was kinda odd considering both of them were sitting in a bed made for one person but, they were small. Kurt thought it would be smart to get a little rest in while his contractions were rather weak. He was terrified. It hadn't hit him in till his belly had many monitors attached to it, and he was sitting in the actual hospital bed. He would be a daddy in less then a day if he was lucky. That scared the shit out of him. Not to mention labor which also scared him. He heard some pretty nasty stories that happened when people gave birth. He just really wanted a epidermal. No way could he have this baby naturally; Nope. It all ready killed.

Blaine was so excited and nervous. But, mostly excited. He felt horrible for his husband though. Kurt did not take pain well to say the least. Blaine held his hand and breathed with him through every contraction. Kurt was 4 centimeters dilated. 

He kissed his husbands neck and put a hand on his hard belly. Wait, hard? "Honey are you having a contraction?" Blaine asked looking at his husband.

Kurt nodded holding on White bar by his head. "Ow, Ow, Ow." He whimpered as his face twisted with pain. "Blaine!" Kurt panicked grabbing his hand.

"Shhh. Almost done sweetheart. Your doing so good." Blaine cooed rubbing his back.

"Ow, Ow, Ow...ah...shit!" Kurt groaned as a tear slid down his check.

Blaine heart broke in two. His husband was in so much pain and he could do nothing about it. He would switch places with him in a heart beat if he could but, all he could do was support him. "Honey, don't cry." Blaine cooed hugging his husband as close as possible. 

"Ah Blaine it hurts so bad." Kurt cried into Blaine's shoulder. "Please help me!" Kurt yelped as his contraction intensified. 

"I wish I could sweetie. I really do." Blaine said in almost tears himself. He hated being so helpless. "Want me to rub your back?" 

"Yeah." Kurt said as his voice cracked on the simple word. "Shit, shit, shit, ow."

"Baby breathe in and out see?" Blaine said giving him an example.

"Ah...ow...shut up it's not working...ow, ow." Kurt whimpered. "Oh..ow..Blaine I don't think I can do this." 

"Baby if you want pain medicine I won't be one to stop you okay?"

"oh god I do".

Blaine's heart ached to know he was so much pain. "What do you want me to do, tell me what and I'll do it okay?"

That's when Kurt started to cry, "I dont ...I don't..ow shit...I don't know. Just make it be over, I want this over Blaine...please please help me!"

Blaine held Kurt tighter, hiding the tears in his eyes, he'd never seen Kurt so broken and exhausted. He just wished he could get an epidural.

The doctor came back in an hour, and told Kurt it was fine if he wanted to stand she could still check him. Only this time Kurt wasn't so cooperative, and starting sobbing into Blaine's shoulder, trying to get away from the doctor's hand.

"Ow! Stop it! Stop it!" he cried.

Blaine just held him, whispering encouraging words in his ear, as the doctor announced he was now at 6.

"Thank God!" Kurt yelled.

The doctor leaned to Blaine and whispered in his ear, "Um the opening for him to get an epidermal has passed. He can only get it when he's 5 centimeters."

Blaine felt sick to his stomach. His poor baby couldn't get an epidermal now? He was in so much pain.

"Let's get this show on the road before I have another contraction. I want an epidermal." Kurt grinned glad that he could get one now. He never thought he would be this happy to get a huge ass needle in his back.

"Um Mr.Hummel-Anderson, You see, there's an opening when you can get an epidermal and that's at a 5. Your at a 6."

"So?"

"So, your too late."

Kurt's face dropped. "Ow! Another one is coming...please go get it." Kurt whimpered. 

"Honey she's serious." Blaine said grabbing his hand.

"No please!...I need it! P-Please!" Kurt sobbed.

"I'm sorry sweetie." The doctor said rubbing his leg. 

"NO! Blaine I need one!" Kurt wailed into his neck as he saw the doctor leave.

"I know baby." Blaine said rubbing his back.

"I can't do this Blaine. I can't! I was suppose to get an epidermal. I'm not strong enough." Kurt cried.

"Honey you ARE strong enough. Your the strongest person I know. You can do this I know it."

Kurt just held on to Blaine smelling he sweet smell. "This is like way more painful than I thought..this sucks..it sucks..I hate it I hate it!" 

"I know baby, I know".

"Ahh..owww..Oh God..do something Blaine please!"

"What? I'll do it, name it.."

"Sing to me, help me relax..", Kurt said through clenched teeth.

Kurt buried his face in Blaine's neck as another horrific contraction wracked his body, all he could muster was groaning and moaning through them, he was so tired. He then heard Blaine's voice, and concentrated on that..trying to cancel out the pain in his mind.

Blaine felt Kurt tense in his arms, and sob against his neck as he worked through another contraction. He willed the tears away, he hated this as much as Kurt. He hated to see him in so much pain. Burt and Carole stood in the doorway, not interrupting the scene in front of them. Burt's heart constricted to hear his son cry in pain, begging for it to all be over. Burt walked over and kissed Kurt's head, telling him he was proud of him, and they'd see him after the baby was born. He patted Blaine on the back telling him to hang in there, and that he thought he was doing great. They left when the doctor came back in, Kurt telling Blaine to not stop singing, even when the doctor said he was at 10 finally and guided them back to the bed as they set up for the delivery. Blaine crawled up behind Kurt, laying his head on Blaine's shoulder, as he panted through the contractions trying not to push.

"I can't do this Blaine, I'm too tired, I can't." Kurt bawled

"Yes you can baby, you are the strongest person I know, this is what you said you wanted. You have been so brave and strong, you are my freaking hero babe. It's just a little bit more, and it'll all be over we can meet our girl and this will be a memory".

Kurt nodded.

"Okay Kurt on the next contraction push".

Blaine was surprised by the silence from Kurt as he pushed, he expected him to scream. But looking at his face he saw it was in silent agony, Kurt wanted to scream but seemed unable to do so. That broke Blaine's heart, and he prayed Kurt pushed this baby out quickly.

"I see the head, curly brown hair, come on Kurt..just a couple more and she'll be out!"

That's when the damn broke, and Kurt's silence was broken, "Ow SHIT..oh God burn burn burn burn!" 

"I know Kurt, shhh..I know..one more..and she'll be out", Blaine soothed. 

"I can't do it...Blaine do it for me..I can't" Kurt cried as he fell on to the pillows. When Kurt felt the urge to push again he fell apart, "no no no no", he shook his head from side to side.

"You can do it, do it for her, come on baby..I know you can do it..then it's over. You will never have to do this again..ever".

Kurt sobbed as he started to push again, finally unable to hold it in anymore Blaine cried with him.

He let out a final scream as Blaine saw his daughter slide into the doctor's waiting arms.

He pulled Kurt back against him, as he cried in relief, "it's over baby it's all over. I'm am so incredibly proud of you..you did so so so good". He kissed his cheek.

Kurt smiled, "thank you for being here for me, I love you so much".

"I love you too, and you're welcome..I'm always here for you".

The nurses walked over with a pink bundle, "She's perfectly healthy, congratulations to both of you!"

Kurt cried again as he held his daughter, never imagining he'd ever be able to do that, he looked over at Blaine. He had the most awe look on his face while looking down at his daughter, who opened her eyes and he cried when he saw Kurt's beautiful eyes looking up at him. She had Kurt's features, but Blaine's hair, he smiled at Kurt with tears in his eyes.

"God She's beautiful", Kurt whispered.
