Kurt took things seriously when it came to the holidays. The apartment looked like Santa's work shop. They had garland wrapped around....well almost anything, multi colored lights wrapped around the stair well, snowflake stickers in the window, a green placemat for the dinning room table, all that was left was decorating the tree. Christmas music was playing in the background while they placed ornaments on the tree.

Blaine picked up the next ornament. It was a baby's first Christmas ornament. Blaine was just a newborn. His father had the biggest smile on his face as he carried his baby boy. He would never smile like that about him today. A flash back suddenly flashed threw his mind...
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~...-"Blaine, honey, you wanna help mommy make some cookies?" Anne asked.
Blaine dropped his Barbie and ran over to his mom. "Yes!" He squealed jumping up and down. Anne smiled as she handed him the sprinkles to put on the christmas tree shaped cookies.
"Look daddy!" little Blaine said showing him the cookies he just made. He had little cooking mittens on so his little hands wouldn't get burned. He showed his father the tray.
"Wow!" Jack exclaimed. "Those are great, son!" he took one and ate it.
"Daddy!" Blaine whined. "Those are for Santa!"
"Oh, sorry, kid." Jack chuckled as he ruffled Blaine's curls.
Blaine smiled and sat them on a plate. "Hey-hey daddy?" Blaine asked shyly.
"Hum?" Jack said shutting off the tv.
"Maybe...maybe you can have one more because your the bestest daddy in the world." Blaine said handing him another cookie.
Jack grinned ear from ear and picked his son up. He pressed a kiss to his forehead and split the cookie in half for them to share.
"Love you daddy!"
"Love you to son."....-~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Honey you alright?" Kurt asked. His husband looked tense.
"Um yeah." Blaine said walking over to the tree and hanging it, not making eye contact at all.
"You sure?"
Blaine back was faced towards Kurt as he searched for another ornament. "Yep."
Kurt went to go look at the ornament that he just hung. He felt his heart literally break. He walked over with sympathetic eyes and sat next to him wrapping a arm around his back. "You wanna talk?"
"No! I already said I was fine!" Blaine snapped as he stood up. "Can I hang a damn ornament with-with out being questioned?!" Blaine yelled with his lip trembling.
"Honey, come here." Kurt said letting him cry into his neck.
"I-I just want them to love me...I want this baby to have both grandparents and-and what if she asks where's her other grandparents one day? Huh? What if I-I turn out just like my father?" Blaine sobbed.
Kurt rubbed his back soothingly. "Shhh." Kurt cooed. "It's ok." Kurt just held him till he was done crying. He needed to burn steam. He knew Blaine was nervous about becoming a father. Becoming a parent is nerve racking. All of his emotions were on high considering his father was a drunk and never home when he was younger. He never had a fatherly figure, and he was about to become a father. He had no idea what to do or expect and that terrified him.
"I'm so sorry. I totally just ruined Christmas eve." Blaine said whipping his tears.
"No you didn't, Blaine...I have know idea what it's like not to have supportive parents. But, let me tell you, I love you so much. You know that. Dad and Carole love you so much, They really do Blaine. So even if there not blood related they still can be your parents. They'd love that honor. You aren't your dad. You so much kinder and nicer, Blaine. We will mess up sometimes, but that's only natural. Nobody's the perfect parent. I'm sure when we're bra shopping or buying tampons we'll screw up somehow."
Blaine chuckled as he whipped his eyes. "I don't even want to talk about that."
Kurt smiled and rubbed his back. "You ok?"
He nodded. "It just sucks you know?"
"I know sweetheart. Today's a happy day! Lets cook some cookies!"
"Alright!" Blaine said getting excited. Kurt was right today is a happy day. We can create are own memories.
"Blaine can you hand me the-Oh!" Kurt eyes widened as his hands flying to his stomach.
The movement didn't go unnoticed by Blaine. He was instantly by his side. "Honey? What's wrong?"
Still looking a bit shocked, Kurt looked up at Blaine, taking a moment to form words. "She...she..." Tears were brimming his eyes and he let out a small laugh before just spilling out, "She kicked! The baby just kicked!" he excitedly pressed Blaine's hand against his midsection close to where the little jab was. "She just did it a second ago...there it is again!"
Blaine was both relived and excited. "Wow honey, that's great!
"I've felt her wiggle around in there before but, she never kicked. Wow that's so cool and...wow!" He let out another laugh not even knowing tears were spilling down his checks.
Blaine reached up to whip them away before pulling his pregnant husband into a hug. "This is great honey. I'm so happy."
"Hey look we're under the missile toe."
"Oh yeah." Blaine pulled Kurt as close as his pregnant belly would allow and pressed a soft but, tasteful kiss to his lips.
End Notes: Tbc...Christmas day up next :)
