Author's Notes: AU Future Fic, I think . . .
Blaine opens the door of his apartment, exhausted. He had a long day, and he just finished playing at the bar--it was a tough crowd, too.
To top it all off, guess who Blaine ran into? The one and only Kurt Hummel just so happened to be there, watching the whole performance. Blaine hoped to sneak passed Kurt after, but no. Kurt wanted to catch up.
It was beyond awkward. Blaine could have told him the truth, that he was miserable; his life is meaningless without Kurt. He could have admitted that, after all these years, Blaine still loves him, but he didn't. Blaine didn't say any of those things. He simply told Kurt that things were good, that he was alright, he was fine. Blaine told Kurt about all the good things, leaving out the bad parts. Kurt told him about his life, his boyfriend (and soon-to-be fiancee), everything. Kurt seems so happy now, while Blaine is just . . . alive.
End Notes: :) I guess this one's alright.(lol I didn't even think about that--"I'm Alright" is alright, ha ha)Now the word alright is starting to look/sound weird.
