Kurt sat at a table in a coffee shop, across from Blaine. "Why does this keep happening to me?" he asked.

     Blaine answered, "These people just don't know how to deal with their feelings, so they take it out on others."

     "But what do I do about it? I can't just go around singing every time I feel upset. It works in glee club; it works for a while, but it doesn't change things," Kurt said, distressed.

     Blaine thought long and hard. Just when Kurt was about to speak again, he replied, "Don't run away. Be the bigger person. Show them you're stronger than that, that you won't sink to their level. Years from now, you'll be a star and they'll wish they'd been kind to you, only it'll be too late. I know it's hard, but you have to try; don't give up."

    Kurt gave Blaine a small smile. "Thank you. Here I am, constantly dumping my problems on you, but you don't ever tell me to shut up. You always know what to say."

    "What are friends for?" Blaine answered.
