Another droning lecture about god-only-knows what and I stare at my textbook, trying not to zone out in the middle of a speech. I'm right on the verge of sleep when the blessed door opens and my head snaps up on it's own accord. The boy who joined the class hands the teacher a note and the teacher just nods vaguely and gestures to the classroom. New boy turns on his heel and he glances around the room and holy shit his eyes... Eyes like the sea, like the galaxies, like earth and the moon and my whole world combined. Eyes that graze over me, don't spare me a second glance as he rapidly searches for a friend to sit by. one girl near the front (R-something. Rachel?) waves to him and moves her shoulder strap bag off of her seat. He gratefully sinks into the offered chair, pulling out his supplies and quickly copying miss R's notes. Class passes in a blur as I alternate between rapid note taking and worshi- ... Observing the boy with the blue eyes. As soon as the bell rings, miss R and blue-eyes are out of their seats and headed toward the door. As blue-eyes glances back, he notices my imploring watch and gives me a small smile. And with that small little quirk of his lips, I know. I know that I am in love with him.
