Blaine looked in the mirror for the hundredth time, adjusting his bow tie. He wanted to look perfect for his date.

He didnt know why but he felt that everything had to be perfect for Kurt. There was something that told that he might be the one and he didnt want him to leave him because he looked sloppy. Not that he thought Kurt would do something like that.

He looked in the mirror one last time giving a small frown at his cast and sling which he had to arrange over his sweater vest and then walked towards the door to his bedroom.

Once he reached the bottom of the stairs he walked straight for the front door.

He stopped when he heard a sound behind him.

"Youre dressed up, why do you have to wear so much hair gel?" His mother asked frowning.

Blaine shrugged. "I like to," he said unconsciously raising his hand to his head.

"Fine, where you going so dressed up?" She asked in a tone that said that she didnt really care. But at least shes trying.

"On a date," he said. He knew the that his parents didnt like that he was gay.

"Oh, whats their name?" She pushed.

Blaine sighed. "His name is Kurt" he said moving closer to the door.

"Ok... bye," she said bitterly before turning and walking into the closest room.

Blaine looked to the floor, he had tried to get used to things like that happening but it still hurt.

He walked out into the cool air. Briefly closing his eyes shedding the stress.

He pushed a smile onto his lips. Time to go and pick up Kurt.

•••••

Soon he was standing outside Kurts house. His stomach was churning, nervous that he might mess things up.

He walked to the front door knocking three times before stepping back and waiting. He heard a small noise before the door opened.

"Hey," he heard the familiar voice of Kurt as he was revealed himself from behind the door.

Blaine looked mesmerised by him, he was wearing a black skinny jeans and a white shirt beneath a grey waistcoat.

"You look amazing," he choked out looking to the floor in embarrassment.

"Aw so do you," Kurt replied and then he felt his hand on his arm.

The contact left and he looked up just in time to see Kurt turn and slam the door closed.

"So where are we going?" Kurt asked his body brushing with his as he went past him.

"We can either go to a restaurant of your choice or if thats not what youre into I know a good coffee shop and then we could go to the movies," he suggested.

Kurt looked at him. "Coffee and a movie sounds good, if thats ok with you?" Kurt replied turning and walking slowly towards the street.

"Of course," Blaine said following him, quickening his pace walking past Kurt again when they exited Kurts front garden so that he could guide him towards his car.

"This one," Blaine said opening the passenger door so that Kurt could climb in.

"Thank you," Kurt said smiling before he go into the car.

Blaine slammed the door and rushed to the other side, climbing in and starting the engine.

"Nice car," Kurt commented looking at around the car his eyes stopping at the leather seats.

"Thanks," he smiled and pulled away from the curb.

The coffee shop wasnt too far from where they were and soon he was parking outside of it.

"So what do you drink?" Blaine asked pulling out his wallet from his back pocket.

"You dont have to pay for me Blaine," Kurt said.

"Yes I do, of course I do," Blaine laughed.

"Fine ill have a non-fat mocha, but Im paying next time," Kurt replied.

Once Blaine had ordered the drinks the walked towards the far corner of the coffee shop. There werent many people around so it was quiet other than the noise of coffee machines brewing and bubbling from behind the counter.

Blaine walked up to the table and pulled out a chair for Kurt to sit down in, he saw Kurt go a little red before he sat in the seat.

"Im being a little full on arent I," he said sitting the chair opposite to Kurts.

"No youre being the perfect gentlemen," Kurt said putting his hand in top of Blaines.

Blaine almost flinched away, but the warmth settled him nerves before he could.

At that moment the waitress walked up placing their coffees on the table with a smile before she wondered back towards the counter again.

Kurt pulled away and reached for his coffee, Blaine almost whined at the loss of contact but contained himself. He didnt want to seem desperate, which he wasnt but he really liked Kurt.

"Hows your shoulder?" Kurt asked gesturing towards the sling.

"Hurts a little but its fine," he smiled.

"I bet your parents went crazy," Kurt smiled a little but it faded but it faded when he saw the saddened look on Blaines face.

"Whats wrong?" Kurt asked but Blaine just looked towards his coffee mug, before picking it up and taking a sip.

"Were your parents not there when you got home?" He asked a slightly annoyed tone in his voice.

"No, they were there," Blaine replied not looking up, not wanting to see the look on his face.

"Im sorry I shouldnt have asked, I didnt mean to make you uncomfortable," Kurt said and Blaine took a glance up at Kurt before taking his eyes back to his mug.

"Its fine, its just they didnt even know what happened and they didnt really care, even when they saw my arm they just thought I had been clumsy or something," Blaine said trying to push away the tears that were forming in his eyes.

Kurt reached out again placing his hand over Blaines.

"They love me, sure they do but they just dont care about me, Im sorry I didnt mean to dump this all on you," Blaine said sniffing back the tears that he had managed to keep from running down his cheeks.

"Its fine, Im sure they care about you Blaine, I mean I hardly know you but I care about you like Ive known you for years," Kurt said.

Blaine looked up into Kurts eyes, stunned by what he had just said.

"Really?" Blaine said, accidentally letting a shocked tone come along with it making him bow his head blushing.

"Blaine, its not like we havent had time to bond," Kurt replied letting out a beautiful angelic giggle.

Blaine smiled looking back up at Kurt. "I care about you too," he said looking into Kurts eyes to make sure that he knew that he was serious.

Kurt gave Blaines hand a squeeze.

"Do you want to get out of here, go see a movie now?" Kurt asked still not letting go of Blaines hand.

Blaine nodded and they both got up and walked towards the door to the coffee shop hands still laced within each others, he was glad that the conversation about his parents didnt come up again, though he knew that it would be brought up again eventually but right now he just wanted to relax with Kurt and enjoy himself.
