As Gerald got into the back of his stretch limousine, his cell rang and he listened to the voice telling him the information he required.  Smiling again as he knew what his family would do when they found out what he was going to do now.  His cell rang again and he answered it seeing it was Richard “Son?” Richard replied “Dad I need to talk to you so when can I come over to see you at your house”.  Gerald thought that odd Richard never came over to see him about anything at the house but arranged a time later that day for him to drop by.

Richard arrived at his father’s estate pressing the entry button for the security to allow him in.  The static voice asked who was it and Richard answered the gates opened immediately and Richard drove his car through before they swung back closed.

Richard wasn’t looking forward to this talk but knew it was one that needed to be said, the consequences would be dealt with after.  He looked out of his window noticing Bates, his father’s Butler waiting for him at the front entrance to the Mansion and got out knowing his Father awaited his arrival so he could get on with whatever he had to complete.

As Richard walked in the indicated direction from Bates towards his father’s library he was pondering his own memories of his childhood home and thought to himself it could have been better.  He reached the door and Bates knocked once before opening it to reveal his father behind his desk looking up from his laptop.

“Ah Richard my boy right on time good, good, now what was it you wanted to tell me?” Gerald asked his son.

Richard sat in one of the chairs before the desk and took a deep breath and replied “Dad, lay off Blaine and Kurt.  This will be your only warning from the Order of Light” there he had said it and looked over to his father seeing him scowl towards him. “Umm, I apologise for the bluntness but there are things going on with those two that are far beyond even ‘Normal’ for our family.”

At the last remark, Gerald raised his eyebrows and his curiosity piqued “Pray inform this old man what is it I have done to cause such a reaction?”

Richard looked across at his Father “You know very well what I am talking about don’t go for Kurt if you do you will lose!” he let out a exasperated sigh and continued “Please Dad, Kurt is …. Un-unlike anything we have come across before and now so is Blaine.  Pop in the fact that those two created a Goddess between them and have the blessings of the god Truth on their side… well you are going to lose.”

His Father Gerald just brought his hands together fingers touching pursing lips with a frown upon his face then suddenly smiled at his son “Richard I know I wouldn’t win against Kurt or Blaine for that matter.  All I was doing was investigating if they needed more protection from Me!”

Richard nearly fainted when he heard what his father had just said “Dad did I hear right you want to help the boys?” 

Gerald looked over to his only child noticing the bewilderment upon his face and laughed uproariously at the situation.  “Richard all I ever want is for my family to be protected against whatever may come.  Admittedly, I got it totally wrong at the club house, but I wanted to put things right between Blaine and myself.  If that means investigating into Kurts background to make sure Blaine is safe then I will do that, but after the learning what I have on the boy and the luncheon earlier today I couldn’t be happier for them whether they are Gay or Straight!”

Richard still looked totally confused and asked “But why did you do it?”

“I did it because I think I can help them both” Gerald said “Even if it means I can spoil Blainers a bit in the meantime and now also with Kurt and Lizzie…. well I need to make sure ‘My Family’ shall survive this so called war approaching rapidly.”

Richard then understood that his father was just putting the family’s safety first before his own feelings or personal hang-ups in order to support them “Oh!”

“Yes now you got it… right be at Dalton tomorrow morning at 11am and make sure Blaine, Kurt and Lizzie are in their rooms. I’ll be dropping by for a visit.” Gerald said, “Now go on home to that beautiful wife and daughter-in-law of ours” smirking as he rose from his chair as his butler was opening the doors for them to show his son out and get home.

Richard, Maria and a pensive Cooper were waiting upon Blaine, Kurt and Lizzie to come back from lectures to their rooms. Just as Coop was about to ask for the hundredth time what time it was the three reluctant people came into the lounge.

“Well we’re here now what?” Blaine asked

A voice cut through the silence saying “Don’t be cheeky Blaine I thought you we brought up with better manners than that!” Gerald said

Blaine, Kurt, Cooper and Lizzie spun to look behind them to see Gerald seated behind them where nobody was previously.

“H-how did you do that!” Coop exclaimed holding his hand over his heart catching his breath and his surprise.

Gerald chuckled at the reaction he obtained from everyone loving that he was still able to surprise his family over his ‘little tricks’, “Magic Coop” raising and waggling his eyebrows.

Kurt laughed lightly at that and smiled at Gerald nodding his head, which Gerald beamed back at him.  Kurt was feeling quiet nervous then at that reaction, which Blaine picked up on by moving closer to him and placing himself in front of Kurt. This in turn sprouted another bought of laughter from Gerald at his obvious grandson’s protectiveness of his mate. Still smiling he said “Gawd Blainers you make me laugh, haven’t had cause for such a long time you remind me of Helen so much.  What you two have is what I have missed since she died so long ago.  But, onto important matters first, I want to help in any way I can to assist you both in taking down this thing called ‘The Void’.  I will not allow it to hurt MY FAMILY!”

Richard and Maria were smiling broadly at one-another then towards the family realising that the boys and Lizzie had no idea what their grandfather was giving them. 

“Blaine & Kurt do you understand what it is my Father can give you in assistance.  If he hadn’t offered I was going to plead with him for his help but freely given ….. Dad thank you and are you really sure about this.”

Gerald looked at his only child then his family nodding his head “Quite sure about everything and the path has been set nothing will stop it now” Richard gasped realising what his father’s unspoken words meant and would keep it safe never disclosing it to anyone even Maria.  He walked over to his father and kissed his father’s brow “Thank you Dad”.  Gerald waved him away back to Maria, as everyone not quite sure what had been set or what was this assistance from Gerald meant.

“Now do you know when this thing is supposedly coming for you?” Gerald asked but received astonished looks, as no one had thought to get the timing down of when this entity was going to attack.  They all looked thoroughly sheepish and Blaine mumbled that they were still trying to discover more about it.

“Hmmmmm” Gerald looked over to the boys and asked “Can you both give me your hands yours too Lizzie”. 

Blaine looked slightly wary, Kurt and Lizzie raised an eyebrow each but went over before Gerald as he took their right hands into his murmuring words he started to glow and then their hands started to feel the pull upon their own powers then it felt like their own powers were expanding beyond even their vast levels.  

Lizzie looked down upon her great-grandfather and asked in a whispered voice “Who or what are you?”

Gerald just patted their hands and looked over to Coop “Your Turn C”, Coop took the place the other three vacated and again Gerald glowed but this time so did Cooper.  After the light had vanished, Gerald looked fatigued but smiled at his family.  “Hope that is enough otherwise won’t be able to help on the battlefield”

“Umm Granddad what did you just do to us?” Blaine asked with a worried frown on his face.  Gerald looked at his youngest grandson and smiled “Just aiding you in your coming battle Blainers”.

Lizzie titled her head to the right “You enhanced us with your own powers boosting us to reach higher levels quicker”

Gerald smirked “Quick one aren’t you and Yes I have boosted your powers.  So from now on you will advance expotentially in reaching your combat levels in record time.  I am a War-Wizard Immortal but have now given that power over to you but I shall still be able to help in battle with my experience and magical ability.”

Kurt was stunned Wizards we real! Wait …. What! He thought well I’m a god and there are angels demons so why not wizards and witches…. Oh Witches!

“Umm Mr Anderson Senior….” As all the Anderson men looked at Kurt.  Kurt looked at Gerald to continue “You are a War-Wizard so you would be an excellent battlefield general and strategist then?”

Gerald nodded and Kurt said “Good that is taken care of we need a plan of action and strategy to safeguard everyone” Looking pointedly at Blaine as he remembered the other night and the visit by the ‘Void’.

Just then a knock was heard from the front door of the apartment and Bates was standing awaiting on his employer.  Gerald looked and said “Everything completed?” Bates nodded saying “Yes Sir your wishes were carried out” 

Gerald got up and asked Kurt to join him, as he did so Blaine and the others followed them out towards the car park.  As Gerald and Kurt turned the corner, Kurt stopped dead and gasped which made Blaine rush forward and stop, looking at what had made Kurt react like that.  There parked with a big bright pink bow on the roof was Kurt’s dream car.

“OMG! OMG! OMG! Blaine….. look … “ Blaine laughed at his mates reaction to the car and smiled at his grandfather.

Gerald looked over to the teens and smiled back at Blaine “So am I forgiven then Kurt? Blaine?”

Kurt spun around and hugged Gerald and smiling “Is it really mine?”

Gerald chuckled and nodded which made Kurt hug Gerald another time before bounding over to his new car a Pagani Zonda 760 RS in black.

Kurt was ecstatic and got in the driving seat looking at all the controls, the interior and thinking how this was too much but fabulous…. But too much … but oh who was he kidding he loved it Blaine leaned into the doorway and asked “Happy?”

Kurt just beamed a smiled at him kissing his lips quickly “Want to go for a ride?” Blaine grinned back and ran around to the other side shouting to the others “We will see you all later and thanks again Grandfather!”

With that he was in the car Kurt starting the engine, still with the big bow on top of the car and before anyone could stop them they were out onto the road tearing down to the freeway and laughing like idiots.

“Well that was entertaining” Gerald said  laughing at the looks on his families faces “ Well lets go back and wait for the boys to come return”

Maria looked at Richard and both shook their heads but started going back towards the boys apartment rooms to await the return of their boys, and for a cup of coffee.

Kurt and Blaine were speeding down the freeway going nowhere in particular and noticed that the car was just over the speedlimit, so easing off the boys were grinning like idiots . “Well your Grandfather sure knows how to surprise people how on earth did he know I love this car?” Kurt asked Blaine.

“I don’t know, but he has contacts all over the place so this doesn’t really surprise me but I didn’t think that you liked this car so much”

Kurt looked over to Blaine and said “Are you nuts! Look at it it’s a gorgeous supercar it has an engine that delivers a total of 760 HP and can go like upto 217 mph what isn’t there to like” 

Blaine just put his hands up in surrender and chuckled “Nothing, nothing,… I like it and it sort of suits you.” Kurt just smiled again and turned up the radio when a song came on that they both knew well and started singing along.  Blaine just lent back into the car seat loving the feeling of being carefree with his Kurt.  Just then his cell vibrated in his pocket and he had to struggle to get it out of his pants, finally he retrieved the cell and looked at the message from Coop [Blainers r u on way back?] He looked over to Kurt saying “The others are wondering when will we be back?”

Kurt sighed “I suppose we had better go back” saying it then headed off the freeway at the next turn off and reversing their journey until they reached the college again parking up Kurt leaned over and kissed Blaine again.

BANG! - the boys both jumped nearly hexing a collapsed Coop & Nick who had come out to let them know that the family wanted to speak with them further in their apartment rooms.

"Haha very funny!" Kurt fumed after getting over the shock, while Blaine turned a full glare at his brother and best friend.

"Whoa there boys we're on your side" said Nick "We are just doing as we were told okay  enough with the evils!"

Kurt and Blaine got out of the car with Kurt checking the roof for any damage before glaring then being pulled into a hug by Blaine "Just ignore them hun! We'll just have to get our revenge on those too when the least expect it" As he looked over pointedly at the now to worried men.

Kurt and Blaine sat looking at Blaine's grandfather like he had sprouted two heads in obvious shock.

"You want us to do what!" Kurt cried as the others looked on, Blaine holding Kurt's hands in his obviously worried and as shocked as Kurt over what his Grandfather had just asked them to do.

"Well, do you think you would be able to do it?" ask Gerald looking over to the two young 'Gods-in-training'. "Hmmm?"

Blaine answered "Grandfather you want Kurt and myself to actually contact 'the Void'" he couldn't help shuddering as he remembered the last contact' the Void' had with him.

"Simple answer Yes I want you both to connect unobserved if you can to fine out anything" Gerald replied.

Just then Lizzie popped in looking furious "WHAT ON EARTH DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING OLD MAN!" she shouted with full powers coming to bare on all in the room except her fathers.

Everyone just froze, looking a bit terrified of the youngest Anderson-Hummel, as she vented at Gerald. "Do you realise what you arre asking them to do and this is a very, very long shot to make contact without being observed.  The 'Void' would think nothing about attacking them mentally and detroying their minds before the battle then where will we be?"

Gerald was looking over at his Great-grandaughter and smiled placatingly "Elizabeth calm down if I didn't think they couldn't do this task I wouldn't of asked them to put themselves in harms way yet"

Eizabeth huffed and sat by her two fathers, rippling with anxiety, frustration and needing to know whether they could do it.

Kurt stroked Lizzies hair and said to everyone "Well, could we do it and how do we do it?" Blaine looked over giving Kurt a puzzled look, Kurt shook his head silently talking to Blaine that they needed to go on the offensive and if they could gather intelligence so be it to the detriment of the 'Void' and their victory.

Blaine sat back on the couch and thought for a few minutes wondering whyn he was so terrified of trying anything, because if he didn't try now what use would he be in the battle.

Kurt looked over at everyone and then back to Blaine asking him "Blaine, what is wrong you have shut me out talk to me!"

Blaine looked confused then apologised "Kurt sorry about that but I was thinking that maybe Grandfather has a point if I can't do anything now against the 'Void' what use am I when we go to battle in the immenant future?"

Everyone spoke at once trying to convince Blaine that he was key to the fight that they all had found themselves in.

Maria asked her youngest "Blaine why do you feel like you cannot do this?"

Blaine looked over to his Mom and asnwered "You know why and I am frightened that if we are discovered he won't let me go"

There was a group gasp as everyone now realised what Blaine was worried about and had been thinking. Kurt pulled Blaine into a hug and said "Well this time babe you'll have me there and that monster better NOT touch my man otherwise he better look out!"

Richard said "Blaine you aren't defenceless my Son. You can defend yourself better than you think you can.  Remember your training and believe in yourself, Kurt and Lizzie"
