Plates were found in the kitchenette cupboards and the food dished out to the group, with Blaine taking extra care to give Burt more healthy alternative with the watchful eye of Kurt.  Blaine held a fork with some other food upon it “Try this it’s gorgeous so tasty” Kurt tried the food and a mmmmmm sound came from Kurt as he ate the morsel of food.  “Lizzie your turn” Blaine said as his daughter came over and sampled the food on offer and she rolled her eyes in pleasure at the taste.  Italian food was going down a treat with everyone and after all the food was eaten and dishes were placed in the dishwasher, everyone relaxed in comfort.

It was nearing midnight when Burt, Carole and Finn were ready to go home, but none of them really fancied the trip back as it would be the early hours before they could get to bed.  Lizzie looked at he grandfather “Granddad you do know that there is enough powerful beings here in this room in which to stop the world turning, so a quick journey to take you all home won’t be a problem and I would love to come over to see where Dad grew up”

Carole smiled at that “Oh that would be great sweetie, but what about the car”.   Kurt spoke, “Carole, Mom don’t worry Lizzie can handle it all” smiling over to his daughter with Burt.  Finn looking a bit apprehensive “Umm, is this like that porthkey in HP ‘coz I’ve had a lot to eat and…”

Blaine laughed out loud at that and Kurt rolled his eyes but corrected Finn “Portkey Finn and no it is not anything like that you won’t feel a thing okay”.  Hugs were then exchanged with the Hudson-Hummel’s and then at Lizzies request they all joined hands vanishing back to their home in Westerville.

Maria and Richard each hugged their boys and Kurt saying goodnight to them, with the re-iterance of a standing offer to come over any time. The boys and Coop were the only ones left then in the apartment, so Coop looked over to the two junior members of the jolly band of powerful beings “Well that was an interesting evening of events”

Blaine and Kurt sniggered at that off-hand announcement “Well Coop we love you but we are kicking you out now go back to your own apartment” Blaine said to his older brother.  Coop stood up laughing at his non-to-subtle little brother’s demands to go “Okay Squirt I’m going” hugging each in turn then turning to go through the open doorway across into his own apartment “See you guys in the morning”

Blaine both said goodnight to him and closed their door locking it, and sealing it magically to stop any early morning interruptions.  Blaine looked over to Kurt “Finally a night of without the kid” Kurt laughed at that “Well we don’t want to waste the time I suppose” walking seductively away from Blaine and heading for their bedroom.

Blaine looked at his swaying-hipped boyfriend and licked his lips “No I don’t think we do” then chased after Kurt.

Blaine reached the doorway and watched Kurt undress seductively glancing up from under his eyelashes or over his shoulder. Blaine licked his lips again and growled as Kurt bent down to untie his bootlaces and glanced over to Blaine.  That was too much for Blaine as he rushed forward to dry hump his boyfriends’ ass “Gawd Kurt what you do to me”.

Kurt giggled “Blaine let me up, later, I need to undress first before the fun begins” teasing as Kurt turned around his head and licked Blaine's earlobe sending shivers down his back. Blaine growled even lower this time, bending his head to attach his lips and mouth onto Kurts’ sensitive neck areas as Kurt groan that oh so perfect lower octave that sent Blaine wild with desire Kurt walked off heading for the bathroom.  “Hold up lover boy remember we have all night” as Kurt closed the door, Blaine walked over to the door to open it finding it locked “Hey since when did we lock the doors No fair Kurt” Blaine complained.  He heard Kurt laughing through the doorway “Kurrtt! Stop playing around come on let me in” more laughter from Kurt “Nope I’m busy Blaine Warbler you’ll have to wait” Blaine harrumph then walked over to his side of the bed to begin undressing and putting his pj’s on.  Blaine laid down upon the bed he felt really tired and didn’t mean to fall asleep, but Kurt was taking so long he fell fast asleep.

Kurt had finished in the bathroom thinking that it was too quiet in the bedroom, as he opened the door looking magnificent he realised that he had taken too long in getting ready as Blaine was fast asleep.  Kurt walked over a bit in a huff coz Blaine had been so randy earlier and now he was fast asleep looking down at him he couldn’t be angry with him sleeping so peacefully.  Kurt decided he wasn’t that tired so turning the lights off he headed back into the lounge to read a book quietly so as not to disturb his sleeping prince charming.

An hour later he heard a noise and couldn’t quite make it out and listened again, it was coming from the bedroom so Kurt got up from the settee and silently walked back into the bedroom looking over to Blaine who was still fast asleep.

Again, there was a noise then Blaine groaned and whimpered thrashing in their bed then stopped when the noise stopped.

Kurt thought ‘OMG When will they stop attacking us. How do I tackle this, what do I do to help Blaine'.   Then he thought about it, with deep thinking comes wisdom and a possible action to assist Blaine.

Kurt knelt down by Blaine taking care not to wake him just yet then lightly touched his brow feeling how hot it was and covered in perspiration.  Kurt took a deep breath then established a mental link with Blaine, he silently looked at what was going on with Blaine.

Blaine was in his own personal nightmare, his parents, Coop, Lizzie and All of his friends were lying dead around him with Kurt battling an entity of gigantic proportions.  Blaine couldn’t move, he wanted to so desperately battle with Kurt to destroy the entity, then Kurt screamed out and dropped to the floor trying valiantly to carry on the battle.  Blaine could see it before the final blow before it came and Kurt could too he looked over at Blaine mouthing ‘I Love You’ then screamed as he was struck ending his young life.  The entity looked over to Blaine before grabbing Kurt lifeless body and bit it into two. Blaine screamed not only in his mind but in reality, his cry was so heart wrenching that it woke Coop up in the next apartment. 

Coop rushed out of bed and banged on the door to his brother’s and Kurt’s apartment then tried to enter but was stopped by the magics keeping everyone out.  He heard his brother scream again, Coop banged the door with his fist bringing all his Arch-Angel strength to bear but it didn’t budge.  Then he remembered the secret way in that he hadn’t told the boys about in case of an emergency.

Coop raced back to his own room and entered his bedroom wrenching the door to the secret way running through into a darkened room with Blaine screaming, sobbing and Kurt trying to hold him but being pushed away.

Kurt looked over and thought ‘Light’, the rooms lights came on.  He saw Coop in just his pj bottoms thinking were all the Anderson men so handsome, then Blaine struggled in his arms again and his attention went back to him. 

“ Blaine wake up honey it’s a trick you have to wake up it’s not real!” Kurt tried again to mentally enter Blaine's mind to connect with him but his grief was overconsuming and Kurt had to back away.

“Coop what do I do….. (Sob)… he thinks ALL of us have been killed and the entity is playing with him torturing him….please help him!” Kurt sobbed into Blaine's chest while he thrashed on the bed.

Coop knew exactly what to do ‘Mercedes we need you I’m coming to get you be ready’ Coop looked over to Kurt saying “I going to get help we won’t be long be strong Kurt for Blaine keep talking to him”.  Then Coop vanished to get Mercedes at her home before returning they went to get Lizzie and the three returned to see Blaine gasping for breath and Kurt looking heartbroken as if he was about to lose Blaine.”

Lizzie said “You did right Coop. Mercedes sing to Blaine get him to hear only your voice bring him back.” Lizzie left and Mercedes instinctively knew what to do and began to sing Coop never understood a word but the angelic quality of the harmonies were sublime.

Coop and Kurt could see Blaine visibly calming, but heard a harsh guttural noise coming from a darkened corner.  Coop threw up a barrier with Kurt by his side he shouted “Show yourself!”

A darker being came into view from the darkness and Kurt almost growled himself.  He lifted his own hands taking hold of the entity it tried to escape, but it was now trapped, by Kurt.  It struggled “How are you able to stop me” it demanded “You are not that strong!” Kurt’s face turned into a horrible visage of vengeance “Try me if you dare!” his voice deathly quiet the being trembled seeing his plans disintegrate before its multiple eyes, it cried out “Master aid me!”

The creature watched as Kurt’s barrier crumbled before Kurt could react the being’s master squashed its servant to nothingness.  As soon as that happened Blaine woke up crying into Mercedes arms as she tried to comfort him.

A malevolent voice cut across the room for all to hear “Ah at last I can feel my foe for the first time I look forward to our next meeting Kurt”

Laughing manically, as it turned its attention fully upon the still weeping Blaine “Oh child I will enjoy you so much how I will make you weep for all eternity in pleasure and pain” laughing gleefully at the disgust and fear it felt from Blaine.

Lizzie entered with Nick upon hearing the last sentence directed at Blaine she blazed forth with power and the voice disappeared with the link.  Normalcy returned to the room and the attention went back to Blaine who was calming himself but he was scared at what the being they knew now was the ‘Void’.

“Nick do what you can for Blaine while I talk with the others please” Lizzie asked then went over to Kurt, Coop and Mercedes motioning the three to come through to the lounge where Clarice was sitting on a chair in her dressing gown.  Kurt was loathe to leave Blaine but a quick glance at Nick holding and rocking Blaine he realised that nick was helping him with his abilities.  Kurt brushed Blaine's mind and felt a loving touch come back from Blaine and a little one from nick who smiled at Kurt.

Kurt went into the lounge looking at the growing body of his new council, he then asked Lizzie “Was that the ‘Void’ that attacked Blaine and what did it mean when it said those things to Blaine?”

Lizzie took a deep breath letting it out slowly before replying “Dad don’t get angry but if we fail Daddie will become the latest victim of the ‘Void’ as its plaything.  It will violate him in ways we cannot understand.  That is why we have to succeed for if we fail then the world , this galaxy will no longer exist and Blaine will be tormented and raped for the rest of eternity.”

Kurt gulped and did his best to stop the nausea from becoming actuality.  He sat down in the nearest seat finding Coop and his hand clutching his tightly.  Kurt looked up and saw revulsion displayed upon Coops’ face, as he realised that if they failed what awaited his kid brother, his squirt… no Coop though no BLOODY WAY!

Kurt saw a fierce holy power growing within Coop that he hadn’t had before and he too took that feeling and let it empower him, that something as vile and cruel wanted to do that to his Blaine … HIS and by any power left in him they would prevail.

Nick called Kurt to come to the bedroom, as Kurt entered Nick left saying telepathically that he was to go carefully, as Blaine was ‘mentally scarred’ by the events.  Kurt nodded and thanked him then looked over to his boyfriend who was lying down again silent tears running down the side of his face.  Kurt went up to him, sitting on the bed next to Blaine smiling encouragingly at him to see there was no harm done to him.  Blaine smiled tremulously back at Kurt, then he reached up to embrace his boyfriend.  Kurt let his love empower them both as he felt Blaine shaking from the fear he felt.

Kurt looked down at Blaine’s face smiling at him then leaning in to cup his face and kiss hips lips, deepening the kiss as he felt Blaine needed the connection. They didn’t realise it but a glow of light and dark mixed together around them in unison, blending together to become something new something stronger togetherness never felt so easy.

Blaine sighed and Kurt leaned back up caressing Blaine's face gently with his fingers “I love you Blaine Anderson” Blaine’s breathe caught as he hic’d his response “I.. I love you too Kurt… more than you will ever know”.

Just then Coop came in to the room knocking on the doorway to get their attention “Sorry boys” as Coop looked directly at Blaine “You okay now little brother?”  Blaine nodded his head shifting his position slightly higher on the headboard Kurt got up and smiled at the brothers “I’m going to get a drink you want anything?” Blaine nodded his head again as Coop took Kurts place next to his brother nodding his head as well.

Coop looked at his brother and asked “Blaine are you really okay?  I know you need to be strong for Kurt but it’s me squirt tell me if you’re not okay alright” Blaine smiled weakly then answered “stop calling me that Coop you know I don’t like height jokes” Coop roughed up his hair as Blaine protested smiling at his older brothers antics.  His brother engulfed Blaine in a huge hug, as Coop tried to regain his own emotions, tears silently streaking down his face. 

Blaine gripped back his brother soothing him “Hey Coop, its okay really, I’m fine as time goes on I feel better.  You have to be strong too Coop, Kurt and I need you as well” he broke the hug staring intently at Coops face, then lent in and kissed his brothers brow saying “Bro you mean more to me than you realise too”

Coop let out another sob and Blaine hugged him back this time as Kurt came in placing the coffee cups on the bedside table.  He then smiled “Can I have a hug too” Blaine laughed  and Coop sniffed as he opened his arms as the brothers gathered a surprised Kurt into their embrace, before they shared a look and started tickling Kurt.

Kurt was enjoying the double hug then shrieked in laughter, as the brothers started tickling him.  This in turn caused the others in the lounge to rush in to the room, thinking they were again being attacked.  All burst into laughter themselves at the sight of the brothers tickling Kurt into submission all three were breathless as they finished the tickling battle.

Kurt escaped the brother’s grasps, gasping and laughing but mocked looking at the brothers “Ooohhh this means war Andersons!” with that he materialised a bucket of water and doused the brothers with freezing water both gasped at the coldness of the water with Blaine saying “Kurt! You just didn’t do that ….. no way!” looking at his now soaked brother and smiling as the Anderson brothers eyes gleaned with mischief.

“You know Kurt WE shall bide our time on retaliation” laughed Coop he snapped his fingers and both brothers were bone dry as was the bed and floor.  Blaine nodded his head emphatically at his brothers fact and looked at Kurt with a smug smile forming on his face.

Nick said aside to the others “Oh no! Now Kurt is in for it I know that look from both brothers!” Kurt looked over nervously at the brothers but smiled back at them “Bring it!”

“I think that is enough excitement for today don’t you” Clarice amused voice rang out and the boys looked abashed “Yes Clarice we’ll be good boys from now on” all three said in unison.

Clarice looked at all three boys muttering a reply, about being too old for this and went back to her coffee.  The rest laughed lightly then followed through to drink their coffees too. Kurt, Blaine and Coop grabbed their drinks and followed back through to the lounge.

Blaine sat next to lizzie, who put her arms around her Daddie Blaine’s shoulders kissing the side of his head, whilst Coop pulled Kurt to the side “Thank you for distracting him that was refreshing way of misdirection” winking then pulling Kurt into a brotherly hug then releasing him as he went and sat down in the other chair.  Kurt smiled as he realised his intention of distraction hadn’t gone unnoticed for Blaine.

Soon it was three in the morning so everyone said Goodnight with Lizzie hugging both parents and Coop, then took Mercedes hand disappearing back to Lima and Westerville.  Coop was about to go when Kurt asked him “Coop I was wondering how you managed to get in when we had enchanted the door?”  Coop looked embarrassed “It was an emergency route if anything got through your block at the door” Blaine looked over “What’s that a secret way in/out of the apartment.  Let me guess Dad and Mom” Coop nodded his head “Hey in their defence they were right I couldn’t get through the doorway so I had to use the other way”.

“Umm, do either of you know how Clarice got in?” Coop and Blaine looked confused and shook their heads.  “Perhaps we can ask her in the morning much later in the morning.

With that Coop said goodnight and headed once more to his bed, Kurt and Blaine locked the door and enchanted every room with an unbreakable charm of protection so nothing would be able to get in.  That done they tiredly got into bed too worn out but lay in one anothers arms kissing each other goodnight before falling into an exhausted sleep.
