Author's Notes:

Thank you for reading :D

It was amazingly warm underneath the covers where Kurt was pressed against Blaine's body. They had Punch the Gorilla in between them—Blaine assumed it was Kurt's way of keeping them ‘distanced' but the technique wasn't very effective. Their noses were touching and every so often their lips would make contact, and Kurt would allow himself to partake in a kiss that sent chills down his spine. He would always pull away before he could moan, because moaning was indication that he was enjoying every second of this. That information was for him only, but he had a feeling Blaine knew.  Blaine was exactly as smart as he led on to be.

Kurt rolled back over to his side of the bed and adjusted the covers so that they each had their share. It was weird to think that he had a ‘side of the bed' in Blaine's room, but it definitely seemed that way after the last few nights they'd spent together. However, this morning happened to be the morning after they kissed for the first time, and now they were having a hard time keeping their lips off of one another. The time he was spending in Blaine's room now was quite different than the other nights to say the least.

It probably would've been smart to sleep in his own bed last night. Even though he hadn't really done so since the night after he broke up with Charles, last night would've been the night to try and separate things again. For one, they could hardly keep their lips off of one another, and secondly, Kurt discovered that Blaine loved using his hands. In fact, he really knew where and how to touch Kurt so that he kept him from even suggesting that they sleep apart—he hadn't touched everywhere but his hands were strong and felt amazing pulling him closer by the waist—and Kurt didn't want to deny how much he enjoyed being in his… friend's… presence. Pressed close against him; their chests touching and legs tangled. Just friends being friends.

That was the thing. They weren't anything just yet as far as a label went. Sure, they spent last night in Washington Square Park walking hand in hand and learning a little bit about each other, and when they got back to their apartment they did navigate right to Blaine's room after showering (separately, of course). Blaine crawled into bed with that smile that Kurt loved so much. There was an old Maroon 5 album playing and Kurt fixed the covers over each of them as Blaine went in for the kiss. They kissed, and kissed, and rolled around a bit before teasing one another and then kissing some more.  There may've been some sleep in small intervals, but most of the night consisted of hazel eyes staring into blue ones and shared coy smiles when Kurt's fingers moved over his roommate's tattoos, tracing the lines of the Italian writing and the ink on his shoulder. It was increasingly intimate as the night went on, and when morning came Kurt had to fight himself not to moan aloud, or to beg Blaine to move his hand further south. He would be lying to himself if he said that Blaine wasn't incredible with his mouth, and each time he felt that tongue ring against his skin, Kurt had a hard time not pressing himself against Blaine's thigh. Their kisses started to get deeper and Blaine's hands started to move lower down his back, running along the fabric of the flannel pants that covered Kurt's ass. The truth was, it'd be so easy to move closer and get lost in all that was Blaine Anderberry, but this meant a lot to Kurt. What they had, while in its youth, was special, and Kurt didn't want to damage it by rushing through things. He definitely wanted to see where this could go.

They had an incredibly lazy but beautiful night and Kurt thought to himself that he could get used to it. The idea of waking up and seeing Blaine smiling at him like he had so often done was appealing. The thought made him smile now as he ran a hand through his hair.

He could feel Blaine sitting up on the bed a moment later and glanced over to see him adjusting himself through the sweatpants he wore. Kurt bit his lip; his cheeks a little red as he turned away and looked at the wall. They were both quiet, but they had been for hours now. Thankfully it didn't feel uncomfortable.

Blaine glanced over at him and Kurt stared back, a small smile playing on his lips. He wondered what Blaine was thinking. Honestly, the guy was a playboy and Kurt knew it. He appreciated the whole ‘trying to change' sentiment but he didn't know whether or not the pace at which he wanted to move would be something Blaine was comfortable with. The truth was, his and Charles' relationship ended where it was 90% physical, and while people probably thought that was understandable because they were two guys, Kurt didn't necessarily agree. Of course he wanted an amazing sex life and for whomever he was with to be as passionate about sex as he was, but that wasn't how he wanted the relationship to begin. That wasn't what he wanted to define any relationship of his. He still wanted a friend—someone he could talk to and go places with, and share experiences that they'd never forget. He wanted someone who would feel comfortable telling him secrets and someone he could rely on to keep his. He wanted a guy that was going to fit in with his family and show them respect, someone who wouldn't be ashamed of him. Someone he could grow old with.

Maybe that was a lot for a 19 year-old to ask for. This was the dating and the having-fun period after all, right? College wasn't necessarily the time of one's life where they found the one. But Kurt wasn't so much a fan of dating around as other people his age were. He already knew what he wanted and that was someone to fall in love with. He wouldn't judge people for wanting to have fun—Santana was the very definition of that after all—and he hoped that no one would judge him for wanting something more.

Blaine crawled over to his side of the bed and kissed Kurt softly on the cheek. “I can tell you're deep in thought and I don't mean to disturb you.”

Kurt smiled as he looked up at him. “You're not disturbing me at all.”

Blaine kissed his jaw this time, and Kurt could tell that the boy was trying to focus on pulling away to say what he needed to say but had gotten distracted, now sucking on a sensitive spot at the top of his neck. Kurt closed his eyes, breathing in deeply as he nudged him away.

“Sorry,” Blaine whispered, glancing up at him and smirking. “I'm going to cook something for breakfast and get my weekend of slavery started off right. You can try and get some rest if you'd like.”

Kurt smiled as he stretched out. Rest did sound pretty good, but right now his mind was going a mile a minute and he didn't think he'd actually be able to get any. “I'll try.”

Blaine ran his thumb over Kurt's bottom lip as he stared and Kurt could only look back. He had a very sexy guy hovering over him right now, shirtless and tattooed and freaking hot, and spending the entire Saturday making out did sound like something Kurt could work into his weekend schedule, but he had to be smart about this. As Blaine leant down to kiss him, he closed his eyes and softly kissed back, not letting the boy move his pierced tongue between his lips no matter how much he would've liked it. It didn't matter because within a few seconds, Blaine pulled away to reach for his buzzing phone. He looked annoyed at whoever it was and tossed the phone down, going back to trying to kiss Kurt. When Kurt smiled and placed a finger over his lip, Blaine slowed down and pulled back.

“Who is it?”

Blaine rolled his eyes and reached for the phone. “Omar… from the gym. I don't think I'm going in today. I'd rather be here with you…”

Kurt hummed, running his hands up and down Blaine's abdomen. It made the boxer's eyes darken as he looked down at him. “The same Omar who you mess around with?”

Blaine bit his lip, pretty much fighting the urge to roll his eyes. “I used to mess around with Omar. I'm only with you.” He trailed off, watching Kurt's hands land on his waist. “If we're even together.”

Kurt's fingers trailed along the waist band of the boy's briefs. “I like the idea of us together. I mean…the idea that we're more than ‘roommates who make out with one another in secret' is appealing.”

Blaine smiled as he tossed the phone down again. “I feel like there's a ‘but' coming,” he said, leaning in and kissing across Kurt's neck. Kurt licked his lips, trying to maintain a steady voice as he replied.

“The only ‘but' is that I've gotten out of a long, shitty relationship and I don't want to damage things by jumping into another one,” his words started to turn into soft moans towards the end and Kurt needed to swallow and regain composure before continuing. “You deserve more than that.”

Blaine rubbed on Kurt's thigh as he kissed inside the crook of the teen's neck. “There's not another ‘but'?”

Kurt shrugged. “There may be.”

Blaine pulled up to look at him. “I'm not with those guys. I know I may have a reputation but I really like you—”

“I like you too, Blaine. A lot. But this isn't the first time a guy has tried calling you while we were together.”

Blaine pulled away.

“I'm not going to fault you for having a history with other guys,” Kurt told him. “That's understandable, we all have people in the past. But,” Kurt paused, making sure they had eye contact. “I will admit that I don't think I like the idea of them calling you or texting or anything like that, especially when we're together.”

“I mean what I said about you being who I'm with.”

Kurt nodded and moved his hands to beneath his head. He stared into Blaine's eyes and replied. “I know, Blaine. It's just that I got out of a relationship where my boyfriend apparently had been cheating on me and I feel a little uneasy with the whole thing—”

“You know I would never…” Blaine leant in and cupped Kurt's face. “Listen to me, gorgeous. I would never do that to you. I learned my lesson by treating the last guy like crap and the last thing I want is to make you hurt any more than you've been hurt.”

Kurt nodded to him before forcing a small smile. “I know, Blaine.”

Blaine looked at him for a while longer before rolling away and standing up. “I know you're a bit skeptical about other guys and I'm not going to knock you for that but I hope you will trust me. Just give me a chance… going into whatever this is that we're doing.”

Kurt pulled Punch close into him and smiled as he situated himself under Blaine's covers. “I trust you. You haven't given me a reason not to trust you.”

Blaine nodded as he dug through a pile of clothes on his chair for a shirt to wear. He pulled it on and turned back to Kurt. “Good. I'll go make breakfast and you relax for me, okay?”

Kurt nodded as Blaine reached for his phone and slid it into his pocket. He leant up to kiss him and this time Blaine had no problem deepening it if even for a minute—that minute ending when Santana knocked on the door and tried to open it. Blaine pulled away and pulled his pants up higher as he jogged over to the door, staring at the girl preparing to pick the lock.

“Oh! You are up. Hey midget. Can I borrow your boyfriend for a second? Did you get all of the mess inside the condom because I don't want to sit in any of it…?”

Blaine rolled his eyes and stepped aside to let her in. “I'm going to cook if you want anything…”

“You know it.” Santana smiled as she hopped in bed next to an obviously-fake-sleeping Kurt Hummel. Blaine looked at the two of them and smiled before leaving.

“You're such a joke, Kurt. Wake up or I'll bite your nipple.”

Kurt couldn't help but smile as he opened his eyes. “Fuck. What do you want?”

Santana smirked. “It was too quiet last night so I'm guessing you two aren't doing it yet but I would like to know what's going on…”

“Nothing,” he took a deep breath. “I don't owe you an explanation anyway. Everything I tell you ends up on Facebook.”

Santana laughed. “What? That isn't even remotely true.”

“Who posted an event at Arlene's Grocery to come out in celebration of me breaking up with Charles?” Kurt pointed out.

Santana looked at him for a moment. “I was hacked?”

Kurt sighed. “I don't know. We're just spending time and getting to know one another.  I like him like… a lot. It's kind of embarrassing…”

“Because at first you kept shoving him aside and pretending that he wasn't all that when in reality you kept drooling over that video he sent you, right?”

Kurt glared at her. “Yeah. Thank you for that, Tana.”

She nodded, looking over her manicured nails. “Well I don't get what the problem is…”

“There isn't a problem. I don't know. I'm just trying to play it smart and wait it out.”

“Hmm.” She sat up. “Well whatever floats your boat. We'll see how long that lasts.”

“You're always so supportive, you know that? I'm not too sure what I'd do without you.”

“I know,” the girl slapped his leg beneath the cover. “Now, my reasoning for coming in here in the first place was to see whether or not you wanted to come home with me for the holidays. I'm about to book my ticket back to Lima.”

Kurt frowned. “I can't go anywhere until Christmas since I requested that off back during the summer, but this week I'll be working. I told Blaine the same thing…he says his folks want us to go to their place for Thanksgiving.”

Santana gave him a look at that. “Really? The rich parents that own everything in their town? Ok, that suddenly sounds a lot more appealing than a deep fried turkey con mi madre at grandmother's house. Are you going?”

Kurt sat up and began to play with Punch as he thought about it. “I always ask you to stick to one language when speaking to me.”

“Is that a no?”

“I'm not ready to meet his parents… we're hardly dating and on top of that he hates them. It'll be uncomfortable for the both of us.”

Santana shrugged. “Maybe during Christmas. That way we can both go before heading to Ohio.”

Kurt nodded. “True.”

“So what are you going to do for Thanksgiving if the Anderberrys will be there and I'll be away?”

Kurt smiled. “I'll be fine. Make a small dinner and cuddle up on the sofa with a movie. Then I've got work on Black Friday so time will fly. Before I know it you guys'll be back.”

Santana nodded as she stood up. “I guess. Well, I'm going to go back to bed. Tell Tiny Tim to bring my food to my room.”

Kurt smirked. “When he's my boyfriend I'm not letting you make fun of his height.”

After rolling her eyes in a way that told Kurt she was definitely going to keep making fun of Blaine, Santana went to leave the room. He could hear the door to her bedroom closing after a moment and Kurt smiled to himself as he settled back in bed. It was probably super pathetic that he was already thinking about kissing Blaine again but he didn't care.

To Omar:

I'm sorry, I can't spar today. Won't be in the gym this weekend.

Blaine sent the message and then went back to scrambling eggs. He already had the pancakes and sausage done, and the hash browns were ready to come out of the frying pan now. He looked out over everything and wondered if he made too much, and the answer was more than likely ‘yes' but he was in a great mood. Great mood Blaine equaled Chef Blaine, apparently.

Though the week had its share of ups and downs, Blaine could say he was pleased with how it ended. The weekend was off to a wonderful start. He got his first kiss from Kurt last night and the two of them were able to spend quality time together like a real couple—walking through the park, talking about things they liked and what they wanted to accomplish in the next year or so. Time happened to fly when Blaine was with Kurt but he relished every moment, and the best thing about dating him would be not having to drop him off at night and hope to get a kiss. They shared an apartment. Blaine lucked out and got to kiss Kurt literally all night long.

From Omar:

Oh, it's cool. I hope I'm not interrupting you if you're busy.

From Omar:

Maybe we can do something together later? I was thinking about you and… yeah. You should come over if you get the chance.

Blaine moved the food to the platter and turned off the stove before reading the messages. He took a deep breath and walked towards the counter, hopping on top of it and thinking of how to reply.

He couldn't say he didn't understand where Kurt was coming from. There was no doubt that he had been a bit of a player, even when he was in a relationship with Fallon, but now things were going to be different. Now he had someone he was serious about and things felt so right with Kurt. He really didn't want to mess it up.

To Omar:

If you want to do what I think you want then I'm sorry, but that was just a couple times for fun. I hope you understand.

From Omar:

Lol. Well, not really… no. I don't. Yeah it was fun but why just a couple times?

Blaine took a deep breath and seriously considered not replying, but if he took Kurt food and they continued hanging out with Omar constantly texting him, then that would definitely create problems. Problems were the last thing he wanted.

To Omar:

Listen, you're a great guy and I did have fun hanging out with you, but I'm starting something serious with someone and I'm not doing any of the BS that I used to. I'd appreciate it if you and I could work together but keep it strictly professional.

Kurt walked into the kitchen, dragging his slipper-clad feet against the tile floor. His hair was flat at the top from the pillow and he looked crazy adorable. Blaine smiled at him as he approached and hopped down from the counter.

“Hey.”

Kurt smiled at him and looked over the food. “Wow. You seriously outdid yourself. I would've been fine with cereal.”

Blaine laughed a little and walked over to him, honestly adoring the way Kurt looked in his Boxing hoodie and a pair of Yoga pants. “Well I thought if I cooked you something nice to start off the day, you'd go easy on me this weekend. Maybe even forget about this whole me being your slave thing…”

Kurt chuckled as went over to the sink and started washing his hands. He hummed when Blaine wrapped his arms around his body from behind. “You're always up to something, but that's not going to work, cutie. I told you I had big plans for you…”

“Sexual plans?”

“Keep dreaming,” Kurt answered with a laugh. “But that massage…”

Blaine squeezed his waist. “You got it. I'll make you a plate.”

When he turned around his phone buzzed again. Blaine rolled his eyes and went to read the message even though he didn't really care to.

From Omar:

Oh… the pale one you brought to the gym last week? Ok. He's cute, I guess. I hope he'll make you happy.

From Omar:

But in all seriousness, if he can't suck you like I can, you have my number.

The water turned off behind him and Blaine deleted the text messages. Kurt bumped hips with him and smiled as he dried his hands.

“I think I'll make you do my laundry and go out to get me some cheesecake first.”

Blaine smiled and looked at him. “Yes sir. But can I tell you something? I… want to be upfront about things before even getting into this.”

Kurt grabbed a few plates and placed them on the island. When Blaine could see how cynical he looked, he stepped forward to kiss his cheek.

“Relax. I just wanted to say that I have messed around with guys but nothing has ever been serious, beside Fallon. You know the deal with him and me, and how that ended. But my point here is that even though we aren't together officially, I'm going to use this time to prove myself to you.”

Kurt sat on a stool and looked at Blaine, nodding as the boy continued.

“I'm going to try my best not to rush you and we can take our time, but all I ask is that you trust me, and if you have any doubts you come and talk to me about whatever it is on your mind.” Blaine licked his lips and turned to the food, finally starting to prepare the plates. “I guess I just don't want some idiot who I used to mess around with coming in between us. You're special.”

Kurt nodded his head and took Blaine's hand, pulling him forward. “Hey, come here.”

Blaine smiled as he walked over, letting Kurt rest his arms on his shoulders. “Yeah?” He moaned a bit when he was caught off guard by a soft kiss to the center of his lips, moving his hands up Kurt's thigh and deepening it. “Damn. You're seriously going to make me take you back to bed.”

Kurt smiled against his lips before he pulled away. “Thank you for saying everything you said, but I promise we're ok. I'm not going to take the word over some guy you used to be with over you. I know you Blaine. I'm not going to act like having to trust someone as much as I'd like to trust you isn't a scary thing, but I'm willing to do it. I'm willing to try.”

Blaine nodded, kissing his chin. “Good.”

“Because I like you too,” Kurt told him. “You've been pretty amazing to me and I haven't always deserved it. We both know that.”

Blaine smiled as they locked eyes. “We're past that. We're past our past. Let's just focus on Kurt and Blaine going forward. How's that?”

Kurt nodded to him. “I like that idea. And let's eat because this all smells amazing and I'm surprised you can really cook.”

“It's not my fault you didn't believe me.”

“Well I'm trusting you not to give me food poisoning. Here's to baby steps,” Kurt joked, opening his mouth when Blaine held a bit of pancakes and eggs to his lips. He chewed and then put a thumb up. “Delicious. But I'm serious. There better not be anything in this…”

“Only a little stuff to knock you out until Monday so that my time as your slave will be over—ow,” Blaine laughed at the pinch he got on the ribs. “Jerk.”

Kurt smiled as he chewed. “You aren't allowed to drug me. That tastes amazing. But I was one hundred percent serious about my laundry.”

Blaine took the next bite and smiled. “I know, asshole.”

The day was moving quicker than Blaine would've liked it to go. While he would've favored sleeping in all day with Kurt pressed against him; the two of them waking up late in the evening and watching a silly movie that made them both smile, he did have to acknowledge that he lost a bet.

A bet that I lost because Kurt and Santana are huge cheaters who bribed my stupid older sister with nasty nutritious snacks to throw the game, Blaine thought. But, the fact of the matter here was that he lost.

After tossing his and Kurt's laundry into the washing machine and leaving the laundry room, Blaine put his music on and headed out of the building. He was only supposed to be getting Kurt's cheesecake but there were some other things he wanted to handle while he was out. Rachel needed some things for the trip back to Pennsylvania for Thanksgiving and he told her he'd pick it up while he was shopping. There were other things on the agenda too…

Blaine quickly realized how whipped he actually was as he got onto the train going uptown. He wasn't even officially with Kurt yet but he was about to do something that only a lover would do. He didn't think it was a big deal, though. Friends did things like this all the time.

As Blaine walked into Saks Fifth Avenue, he pulled out the pages of the magazine that Kurt had marked off. The boy had expensive taste, that was for certain, and Blaine knew he'd have to budget his money when they were actually together. As he stepped onto the second floor, someone walked over and asked if he needed help.

Blaine smiled at the girl and unfolded the page. “Hi. Yes, I'm actually looking for these in a size 11, men's.”

The redhead scanned the page and smiled. “Jimmy Choo's. Great taste. My coworker is actually crazy about these boots. Right this way.”

Blaine bit his lip as he followed her, trying not to ask if it was Kurt she spoke of. As she turned around he caught sight of her nametag. “Amanda…”

“That's me,” she said, gesturing to the boots on display. “These are the one's you're looking for… but are you an 11?”

Blaine laughed a little as he fixed his beanie, covering his ears. “They're for a friend of mine actually. I'm going to take those, and can you point me in the direction of the men's hats and scarves and what not?”

Amanda looked at him for a while. “You look very familiar…”

He shrugged. “I've been in a few boxing matches around the city…”

She shook her head. “That's not it…”

He smiled. “So… hats, scarves, gloves…”

“Right over there,” Amanda pointed to a section near the windows and then started to back away. “I'll meet you there with your friend's new boots!”

Blaine nodded and went off in that direction. “I'd appreciate that.”

He was almost certain that she either knew him from Kurt showing her the video that he sent him back when they weren't really friends, or from her seeing that temporary viral video of him breaking into NYU and singing a Sam Smith song. Either way, he hoped that she wouldn't remember his face because she'd probably blab everything to Kurt before Blaine got to surprise him.

He stopped in front of the Alexander McQueen skull knit scarf that Kurt had put a heart next to and picked up two of them, as well two wool knit Prada hats, and two pairs of Burberry leather gloves. He pulled out his credit card and smiled at the idea of how his parents' faces would look when they got the bill. It made Blaine feel warm inside.

From Kurt:

It doesn't take this long to get a cheesecake. I want my cheesecake, and my massage. You're the worst slave ever.

From Kurt:

And I might miss you a tiny bit.

Blaine smiled at the messages, biting his lip as another came in.

From Kurt:

Especially your soft lips. But that's the only thing I miss. Just your lips. Not you.

To Kurt:

You're full of shit. You miss the way I touch you too.

From Kurt:

Nope.

“Here you go,” Amanda said, holding a box and smiling. “We're all ready to go! Would you like me to ring you up?”

Blaine pocketed his phone and walked with her to the register. “That'd be great.”

Kurt noticed it was starting to rain as he looked outside the window of their SoHo flat. Santana wanted to drag him somewhere but that was a definite no now. Not only was it cold out, but it was now wet out. Inside was warm and dry, and there was Netflix. It wasn't much of a tough decision.

He walked over to the sofa where Rachel was busy reading something from her textbook and sat next to her. She smiled before looking back down at her work.

“Are you bored?”

Kurt nodded. “I'm more tired than I am bored, but I don't think I want to nap. I don't know. I might.”

Rachel turned to him. “Can't sleep without Blaine?”

Kurt looked at her. “What? I—”

“I'm just messing with you,” she said with a knowing smile. “It's just you two have been spending a lot of time together lately and of course I've noticed. He's my little brother and I think of you as a friend of mine.”

Kurt nodded, not knowing exactly where this was going. He spoke anyway. “I think of you as my friend as well, definitely.” After it was quiet for a moment, Kurt resumed. “I… do you feel uncomfortable with us spending a lot of time together? I mean, he and I are just hanging out.”

“Not at all,” Rachel said quickly. She moved closer on the sofa and pulled her legs up to her chest, hugging them. “For one thing, if he's with you, I know he's not out with his friends doing something ridiculous. Second, I trust you a lot more than I do those other guys he likes. It's just better knowing he's out of trouble, Kurt.”

Kurt looked up at the blank television.

“Are you… are you two together?”

“No,” he answered. “We aren't. Not yet? It's a possibility but… I just got out of a relationship.”

Rachel nodded. “I understand.”

“Your brother is amazing, though. I like him, Rachel. I don't know how much he shares with you but—”

“Can I say something?” she cut in, brown eyes looking into his blue ones. “I don't mean to interrupt, but it's like stupidly obvious that you two like one another and I haven't seen Blaine as happy as he is when he's around you like in a really long time. That should say a lot.”

Kurt listened, picking up his cup of tea. Rachel resumed.

“But just like I told him, my fear would be the two of you having a falling out or maybe breaking up and then where does that leave me? I may sound very selfish right now and I don't mean to but this is a legitimate concern. We're all roommates first, you understand?”

“I do,” he said quickly. “I've thought about that too.”

Buzz.

Kurt looked down at his phone and of course it was a message from Blaine. The content said ‘video attached' and Kurt waited until their conversation was done before viewing it.

“You can get that if you need to,” Rachel told him. “I'm just… I don't want either of you hurt and I don't want to have to move out of here if he decides he doesn't want to be here anymore. It would be a Blaine thing to do and I'm trying to avoid that, Kurt. I like it here a lot.”

Kurt nodded softly. He placed his tea back down on the coffee table and reached for his phone once more. “You're not being selfish, you're being rational, Rachel. That's something I never thought I'd say.”

She smiled. “Thank you.”

“I'll definitely talk with him,” he stood up and stretched a bit. “Because the last thing I would want is for anything I have with a guy I'm involved with to screw my other roommates over. It wouldn't be fair to you or to Santana, and she'd probably kick my ass.”

“I'd kick Blaine's.”

Kurt smiled and nodded. “Let me know when you're done studying. I'll come keep you company.”

Rachel's face lit up at that. “Sure thing, Kurt. And thank you for listening and not snapping at me or anything.”

Kurt guessed that would've been Blaine's response. “No problem.”

He walked back towards his room while unlocking his screen, smiling as he went to click play on the message. The thumbnail was a grinning Blaine and he already knew he'd love whatever else was to come.

Once Kurt started the video, he watched Blaine walking through the subway platform with that beautiful smile on his lips.

“Hey cutie. I know I suck as a slave but I realized the longer time I take to come back, the less time I'd have to spend organizing your clothes in the order of color and season or whatever the hell else you have planned for me.”

Kurt laughed. He hadn't even thought of having Blaine do that until the boy went and opened his mouth.

“But,” Blaine continued on screen. “I did pick up a few things I think you'll enjoy… besides the cheesecake.” Blaine stopped walking and held up a bottle of something. “Massage oil. It smells amazing.”

Kurt was blushing and he hated the fact that he was. He flopped back on Blaine's bed and bit his lip as Blaine continued.

“I promise after we study for midterms, I'll help you relax…” There was a cheeky wink that was so Blaine Anderberry that Kurt had to smile.

Another video came through as soon as that one ended. Kurt quickly clicked on it and pulled Punch into his chest.

Blaine was now in the laundry room, so it was obvious that he had held on to these videos to send together. He had a lollipop in his mouth and pulled it out to speak.

“I'm going to taste like cherry when I kiss you.” He made a kissy face and then ended the video. Kurt laughed to himself before rolling over, settling underneath the covers. He couldn't believe he felt like a 6th grade girl who just watched Justin Bieber on Vevo for the first time. This was a little more than pathetic.

To Blaine:

Who says I'm kissing you again?

From Blaine:

Oh? May I reference a quote from earlier, dear Kurt? -‘Especially your soft lips. But that's the only thing I miss. Just your lips. Not you.'- In other words, you're kissing me again.

Kurt bit his lip as he answered.

To Blaine:

Please forgive my moment of temporary insanity.

From Blaine:

Lol. “Temporary”. Ok.

To Blaine:

Screw you.

He looked down at the stuffed gorilla and smiled. “I hate how good he makes me feel, Punch. Life was easier for everybody when I thought he was a prick.” He trailed off and looked down at his phone again. “But he isn't.”

From Blaine:

Really? Awesome. I think I have a couple condoms left.

“Maybe I spoke too soon,” Kurt said with a smile.

To Blaine:

Can you just hurry up and get back, please? I want cheesecake and my massage.

From Blaine:

And a kiss that tastes like cherries, right?

To Blaine:

Meh.

The front door closed and Kurt could barely make out whatever Rachel was saying. He was sure that Blaine had just walked in, though. That was the voice Rachel used when she was talking to her brother. He sat up and straightened out the bed a little, adding some more lip balm and mussing his already messy hair. There wasn't much of a need to style it because Blaine usually went out of his way to mess it up when they were in bed together. He was a jerk like that. Kurt lay back down and smiled to himself just thinking about how much potential this had, despite Rachel's fears. He could actually fall for his new best friend. Wasn't it what everyone wanted?

The door across the hall closed and Kurt raised an eyebrow because he knew that to be his bedroom door. Before he could get up and go investigate, Blaine was opening the door and smiling at him, stepping out of his boots and pulling off his sweatshirt.

“Why hello there, worst slave ever.”

Blaine's lips were red from the lollipop as he smirked at him and he slowly moved towards the bed. Kurt couldn't deny that his body was buzzing with the need to be in Blaine's arms. He leant back on his elbows and watched Blaine; shirtless and a bit damp from the rain, crawling on top of him until he collapsed.

Buzz.

Kurt wiggled a little, trying to reach for his phone. “Blaine, move… Blaine,” he laughed when the boy pressed his weight into him even further. “Come on. Let me get my phone. It could actually be important.”

“That was me again. I tagged you in a video on Facebook.”

Kurt smiled as he tried his best to free his hands. “Hm. Are you sure you want to be a doctor and not a movie director?”

Blaine smiled against his neck. “I'm sure.”

Buzz.

Buzz.

Buzz.

“Ok, now my notifications are blowing up. What did you tag me in?”

Blaine lifted his head to look at him and gave Kurt a close-lipped smile. They were really red from the candy and Kurt could admit that he really wanted to taste them. Hell, he'd been thinking about tasting them since Blaine left a couple hours ago. “Nothing. Just a little video I recorded.”

“Blaine.”

“Kurt,” he said with a mischievous grin, dropping his head again. His curls rubbed Kurt's cheek as he trapped the boy against the mattress. “It must really suck that all your friends are commenting on whatever the video was before you even got to see it.”

Kurt smiled for a while before he rolled his hips up. Blaine lifted his head again; eyes wide but obviously a fan of the action.

“Either you get off of me so I can get my phone, or you sleep alone until midterms are over.”

Blaine sucked his teeth and rolled away. “You're no fun.”

“I'm tons of fun,” Kurt smiled as he reached for his phone. Immediately, the first thing he saw was tons of messages from pretty much everyone. There was Mercedes, Finn, Puck, Tina, Amanda from his job, Kitty who used to work at the Lima Bean with him, even Matt Rutherford who he hadn't seen in forever. Kurt looked up at Blaine, wondering what he'd done.

“What?”

“I was about to ask you the same thing,” Kurt said.

Blaine smiled innocently as he undid his jeans. It took a lot not to watch his hands work, or to stare when he stood and stepped out of them, leaving him in only a pair of grey boxer briefs. Blaine sat back down on the bed afterwards, reaching for his flannel pajama pants.

“You should just watch the video then.”

Kurt browsed through the comments first. He wasn't one who often sought out spoilers, but he was curious as to what people were saying.

Mercedes commented on a video you were tagged in—OMG. This is the best thing I've seen all week. Kurt, he's gorgeous and his voice is too. I'm proud of you boo. xoxo

Amanda commented on a video you were tagged in—I KNEW I KNEW YOU FROM SOMEWHERE! YOU WERE THE ONE WHO SNUCK INTO NYU AND SANG FOR KURT! WOW. IS KURT THE FRIEND YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT TODAY? ACCEPT MY FRIEND REQUEST, I CAN TELL YOU TONS OF DIRTY DEETS

Kurt's eyes went wide. “What is Amanda talking about? Why does she suddenly know you?”

Blaine lifted an eyebrow and mocked confusion. “I have no idea what you're talking about, gorgeous.”

Finn commented on a video you were tagged in—Awesome song. So ur into my bro?

Kurt decided that instead of continuing and reading the other comments, he would just watch the video for himself. He didn't know if he was prepared to read Puckerman's message anyway. The video already had 27 likes when the page loaded and Kurt shook his head at the picture that popped onto his iPhone screen.

Blaine smiled at him, watching carefully.

“Hey gorgeous,” video Blaine said. He was on the train at this point, standing next to a kid with curly blond hair and a guitar almost as tall as he was. “This is my new friend Michael and he's been playing guitar on the subway trying to collect enough money to go on a trip to Florida to see Mickey.” Michael started to strum and smiled at the camera. The train jerked forward and whoever it was filming the two of them stepped back a bit. “I asked Mike here for his help in making this video for you. You know, I can't exactly sing the Sam Smith song any longer, so I thought I'd do something really cute for you. Because you're cute.”

The person filming must've been this Michael kid's mom because there was a very feminine aww sound as Blaine moved a bit closer to the screen and nodded his head to Michael's playing. Kurt's cheeks went red as he watched the people on the train watch, but eventually his eyes landed on Blaine.

Your love is bright as ever
Even in the shadows
Baby kiss me
Before they turn the lights out
Your heart is glowing
And I'm crashing into you
Baby kiss me
Before they turn the lights out
Before they turn the lights out
Baby love me lights out

“Beyoncé,” Kurt said, laughing. You totally would.”

Blaine smirked and got beneath the covers too. Only he didn't look at the screen with Kurt—instead he watched the boy for every second—smiling when he smiled and shaking his head at the adorable laugh and the scrunched face Kurt made when he found something particularly amusing. He knew he was dancing at this point on the video and Blaine thought that maybe he should be a little more self-conscious because he tended to look ridiculous, but he didn't care. Kurt seemed to like it either if the way he bobbed his head along with the video and Mike's playing was any indication.

We don't have forever
Ooh, baby daylight's wasting
You better kiss me
Before our time is run out (yeah, eh, eh)
Nobody sees what we see
They're just hopelessly gazing
Baby take me
Before they turn the lights out
Before time is run out
Baby love me lights out

“How can you sound so beautiful while joking around with a Beyoncé song?”

Blaine stared at Kurt's profile as the boy continued to watch the video. “How can you be so beautiful every day?”

Kurt turned to look at him for a second before Blaine's singing on the iPhone drew him back in. Blaine moved closer, resting his lips against Kurt's cheek.

In the darkest night I'll
I'll search through the crowd
Your face is all that I see
I'll give you everything
Baby love me lights out
Baby love me lights out
You can turn my lights out

I love you like XO
You love me like XO
You kill me boy XO
You love me like XO
Youre all that I see
Give me everything
Baby love me lights out
Baby love me lights out
You can turn my lights out

The train pulled into a stop and people were clapping. Blaine laughed and high fived the boy before winking at the camera. The camera then looked around the train to see people going in their pockets for change or a couple bucks for the guitarist, and as it landed on Blaine once again, he dropped money into Mike's hat before accepting the phone back.

“Mwah,” Blaine said, winking after making his kissy face. The video ended and Kurt just lay there staring at the screen. Blaine smiled a bit as he leant up to look at him.

“It was either XO or Partition, and I didn't think Michael wanted to help out with that song.”

Kurt smiled. “Can you please shut up and kiss me before I have to reply to my idiot friends who I'm sure are now adding you on Facebook as we speak?”

The door flew open and Santana smirked.

“That was adorable, Blaine. Tina texted me to look it up and I have to say, bravo. Kurt, if I were you I'd get on that ASAP.”

Blaine looked at Kurt who was literally the color red. “Wow. Thanks.”

“Uh huh. Are you going to eat that cheesecake?”

“Sure am.”

“That is all,” Santana left without closing the door behind her and Blaine dropped his head, rolling out of the comfortable bed to go and get it. Once it was shut and locked, he returned to bed, lying on top of Kurt as they settled beneath the covers. Blaine leant in for a kiss but was stopped and literally almost whined.

“What? What is it?”

Kurt smiled. “We should talk?”

Blaine collapsed, automatically sliding in between Kurt's legs. He buried his face in the boy's chest, met with the warm fabric of his Anderson Boxing hoodie. “What would you like to talk about, baby cakes?”

Kurt laughed. “Well first off, baby cakes won't be a thing with us.”

Blaine smirked. “Sorry snicker doodle.”

“Oh my gosh—”

“What do you need?”

Kurt took a deep breath; his hands finding dark, fluffy curls and playing in them as he spoke. “I want to be with you one day. Exclusively. Just you and I.”

Blaine nodded at that. “That's something we can both agree on. I prefer it be one day soon.”

Kurt didn't reply to that part. Instead, he continued to play in Blaine's curls and brought up another topic. “The thing is, your sister spoke to me and made me see things in a certain light. I just… want to be fair to her and Santana. You know, if we do get together and then something terrible happens—”

“Kurt,” Blaine looked up at him and smiled. “I love my sister, and I love that she cares about me and us, and herself too, but this is between us. Don't let her or anyone else kill what we could have before this even gets off the ground.”

Kurt looked into his eyes as he brushed his fingers along the teen's jaw. “You're right, and I'm not. I just have to acknowledge that she has a point. So, if we do get into it, let's agree not to act like assholes and mess up this living arrangement for everyone involved.”

Blaine nodded. “I kind of hate that we're planning to break up tranquilly before we even agree to be boyfriends. That really sucks to me.”

Kurt bit his lip. “That's not what I mean.”

Blaine dropped his chin onto Kurt's chest and continued to look up at him. “It feels that way.”

“But you know what I'm trying to say at least?” Kurt asked. “I just… in the event that we don't succeed, let's agree to be mature about it, and be friends even afterwards. That's why us getting to know each other now and like each other without the aspect of everything being sexual is super important to me.”

“As it is for me,” Blaine told him, and he was being honest. Kurt was important to him all around. He wanted an actual relationship with him—he didn't strictly want to mess around. He had people to mess around with. “And fine, you're right. I agree that I won't be an asshole about it. We're old enough to handle things like adults.”

Kurt nodded.

Blaine smiled. “Can I kiss you now?”

“If you tell me why Amanda knows you…”

Blaine licked his lips and smiled. After spending a whole night kissing, he really thought this would be a lot easier. “Amanda…?”

“Amanda from my job. My job at Saks. Why do you two know one another all of the sudden?”

Blaine observed Kurt's curious face and didn't even bother trying to lie to him. He knew he'd be caught in it. “I went there today.”

“Why?”

“To shop.”

“For what?”

“Clothes?”

“Why are you asking me? Did you shop for clothes or not?” Kurt asked, highly suspicious. Blaine laughed.

“I bought something for us.”

Kurt closed his eyes. “Nope. No. I know you have money and I'm happy for you but buying me things is not necessary—”

“I wanted to do something nice for you, Kurt. I'm not hoping to get anything out of it but seeing you happy, alright? Please don't make a big deal out of this.”

Kurt stared at him for a moment. Blaine leant in and kissed him, and finally he succeeded. He slid his tongue into Kurt's mouth and smiled against his lips when they began to kiss—Kurt's tongue playing with his piercing. When they pulled away, Kurt licked his lips.

“What did you buy?”

Blaine ignored the buzzing he heard coming from Kurt's phone. “Well, we've got matching scarves, gloves, and hats. I have every intention of the two of us being the disgusting couple that everyone fucking hates—the couple that makes people upchuck their breakfast.”

Kurt shook his head as he covered his face with his hand. “You're incredible.”

“And I got you something else,” Blaine added. “That doesn't matter right now, because I want to kiss.”

“Mm. But I want cheesecake, slave. Think you could handle that for me?”

Blaine smiled. “After a kiss.”

“Oh, but I'm calling the shots,” Kurt said, pushing the boxer off of him. “And when you come back, you can put on a movie and we can make out until I want my massage.”

Kurt's phone did some more vibrating and he lazily reached for it as Blaine stood up. “You're unbelievable.”

Kurt laughed. “Uh huh.”

Blaine smiled, walking away. Kurt stared at his ass for a moment before unlocking the screen. He had new friend requests from Jeff, Sugar, and a couple other people Kurt had no doubt were friends of Blaine's. He also had a bunch of other alerts from being tagged in Blaine's video that mostly had to do with people Liking or Commenting. Kurt smiled, all until found a message in his inbox.

From Charles.

Here we go. Kurt shook his head, debating with himself whether or not he should even read it. He did give in just to get it over with, but he definitely didn't want to. Maybe he shouldn't have. It would probably kill his mood and Blaine put him in a great mood.

Kurt,

Hey. I'm glad to see you're moving on so quickly. It sucks a little but it is what it is. I fucked up and I know it.

I wanted to apologize to you because I do realize how I treated you was terrible. I said a lot of things I didn't mean, especially the whole cheating thing—it was bullshit and I never had a relationship outside of the one I had with you. You're my first and you were the only guy I was exclusively seeing, and I regret treating you like that.

If you're going to be around for Thanksgiving, I'd like to take you to this event I'll be at. It's called the Celebration of Courage and it'll be in NYC, and a few of the actors from my show are going out in support. I know we aren't exactly on speaking terms right now but hopefully we can fix that and you can reply? If you're with Blaine, I'd really hate it but I'd understand. I still want to be your friend. Maybe we weren't meant to be together but I don't want to be remembered as the guy who hurt you. I want to be a constant in your life in some way.

Shooting has been going great. I've got everything I wanted. Of course something is missing but… anyway I'm learning a lot and my episode should be on in December before the Christmas hiatus. I saw Santana say on Facebook that she was going to stop watching because I was on it but I hope that doesn't apply to you.

Please if you find the time, message me back. I miss you a lot. I'm sorry for everything. Just… at least say something. Maybe I don't deserve that much but, please.

-Charlie.

Kurt didn't know exactly what he was feeling after he read the message a couple times. It wasn't anger, and he sure as hell wasn't happy to hear from Charles. Maybe he just didn't care. It was good to know he was doing well—Kurt did want him to succeed after working so hard—but he didn't care much to keep in touch with him. This had to be another ploy of Charles'. He always had something up his sleeve.

Kurt didn't think he missed him. He didn't know if he'd reply. Right now, he didn't think he could answer Charles without saying something that'd definitely hurt his feelings, and though his ex was the type of guy to purposely blurt things that would definitely try and destroy him, Kurt knew that wasn't the person he himself was.

He sighed and tossed the phone aside. The weekend had been going great and worrying about Charles was not something on the agenda. A moment later, Blaine walked in with the dessert and smiled.

“Gorgeous,” he sang. “Hey… you okay?”

Kurt nodded and smiled. “I'm much better now. C'mon.”

Blaine looked at him a bit longer before approaching. “I got the strawberry kind. Santana already took a slice just so you know.”

Kurt rolled his eyes but couldn't help but smile. Santana was Santana. “All of Gossip Girl is on Netflix, you know.”

Blaine placed the food down and smirked as he looked at Kurt. “Hm. Is that a hint?”

“It is,” Kurt picked up his fork. “Now hurry so we can share this.”

Blaine smiled and walked over to the television. Maybe this weekend wouldn't be as hard as he thought it'd be. So far, so good.
