After Kurt had hung up with Blaine, he set an alarm for 10:00, not expecting to get any sleep. He slammed his head against his pillow, hoping that would higher his chances of at least getting an hour in. To his surprise, he felt exhaustion overcome him the second he settled back down, his eyes drooping lazily. He was out like a light with Blaine on his mind.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Kurt opened his eyes tiredly, glaring daggers at the clock on his bedside table. He was having the perfect dream of him and Blaine, and the clock suddenly became the bane of Kurts existence. He yawned and smacked the alarm quiet, sitting up and rubbing his eyes. It was 9:15. He had 45 minutes to get dressed, head over to Blaines house and figure out what the hell was going on. He threw the blankets off of his warm body, shivering at the wave of cool air that hit his skin.

Kurt quickly showered and brushed his teeth, deciding not to style his hair in favor of throwing a beanie on. He wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. He chucked on a pair of sweatpants and a plain tshirt. He scowled at himself mentally because only Blaine would be the reason why he would go out in public in sweatpants and a beanie. He slipped on his converse and pocketed his phone and wallet, writing a quick note to Rachel and Santana that he would be gone for a while.

He dashed out the door quickly, flagging down a taxi and shooting out Blaines address. The taxi driver kept winking at Kurt through the rear view mirror and Kurt never felt more embarrassed for anyone else. He thrummed his fingers on his knees all the way to his Doms house, lightly jogging up to his front door after the taxi driver failed immensely at trying to get Kurts number. Kurt raised his hand and was about to bang his fist against the door of Blaines house when the door flung open and a hand was grasping his forearm and pulling him in, forcing him against the closed door when he was all the way inside.

"Wha-"

Warm lips slammed against his own, and it was like Kurt was tasting heaven. Blaines lips felt like nectar against his own, his body moving against his in perfect rhythm. Kurt felt euphoric about finally being close to Blaine, feeling his firm figure pressed up against him. Kurt moaned into Blaines mouth, responding to the shorter mans gyrations. He grasped at Blaines back, desperately searching for stability because he felt like he was falling. Blaine wrenched his lips away from Kurts and moved down to his neck where he began sucking vehemently.

"God, Kurt. I missed you so much," Blaine whispered huskily into his ear before biting down on his lobe roughly. Kurt screamed and arched up into Blaines body, mind shutting off because Blaine was just so much.

"Me, too, sir. So much," Kurt ended the sentence brokenly, trying but failing to form a cohesive sentence. He was trapped between the door and Blaines body, finding that there was nowhere to go. Kurt moaned at the thought of being completely in Blaines control, erection straining against his sweatpants in an attempt to seek friction.

Blaine continued his ministrations on Kurts neck, licking a spot that he had been nipping and sucking at. Kurt swallowed and gathered what little willpower he had, pushing Blaine away gently. Blaine barely budged but got the hint, backing away slightly to bore his eyes into Kurts. Kurts breath caught in his chest. Blaines eyes were surrounded by dark circles, and his eyes were red as if.. as if he had been crying.

"Blaine.. wha-"

"They want me to cast an understudy," Blaine interrupted, eyes drooping closed. Kurts heart froze. No. No no no no no. They cant do that.

"They cant do that!" Kurt screamed his thoughts, bringing his hands up to fiercely cling at Blaines shirt. He felt tears well up behind his eyes, head aching with anger. Blaine brought his hands up to Kurts face, kissing his eyelids.

"Shh, sweetheart. I know its gonna be rough, but it wont be bad if neither of us miss a show," Blaine pointed out, voice tense. He sounded as if he wanted to comfort Kurt, but Kurt could tell he was on the edge of rage. Kurt nodded, considering his statement.

"Yes, but you still have to meet up with some of the other guys you were considering for Parker, right?" Kurt asked, voice small. His heart was clenching inside his chest, praying to whatever force out there that he wouldnt miss a show.

"Yes, my love. Ive already called them up, asking them to meet me at the theatre on Saturday," Blaine paused to run his hand up Kurts face, stopping at his hair. He ran his fingers through it gently, scratching at Kurts scalp lightly. "I only contacted two performers that I saw fit to be your understudy. For me, I only contacted one. And for Stephanie, two."

Kurts pulse relaxed at that. At least his competition wasnt outrageously large. Still, he felt uneasy about anyone else touching his Blaine. He felt twice as uneasy about Blaine touching anyone else. His grip on Blaines shirt tightened. He buried his face in the crook of the shorter mans neck, breathing in the scent he missed for so long. He pressed his body into Blaine, seeking the warmth that was absent the past few days. Blaine dropped his arms to wrap around Kurts waist, pressing his lips to his companions temple.

"Kurt, promise me something," Blaine whispered softly. Kurt nodded his head minutely.

"Dont miss a show."

Kurt and Blaine walked into the empty theatre Saturday morning hand in hand. They had spent Wednesday morning together, making breakfast in the kitchen and dancing around each other. Blaine had to leave to go get things ready in the theatre for the meet up with the potential understudies, so Kurt had left his house around 1 pm. They hadnt seen each other Thursday or Friday, deciding to wait until Saturday to see each other for the meet up.

Blaine asked Kurt to be there too, wanting to get his input for who the best understudies would be for them. He invited Steph along as well, but she passed, explaining that she had things to get done that morning. She trusted Blaine and Kurts better judgement and left it to them.

Blaine and Kurt walked down the theatres isle until they reached the stage, climbing the steps and heading toward the piano where Blaines notes were lying.

"Before they get here, I want you to look at their applications," Blaine murmured to Kurt who was standing beside him. Kurt nodded and took the stack of papers that were handed to him. He sat down on the piano bench and looked through the papers, taking long looks at the attached head shots. The first one he saw was the only potential understudy for Blaine. He had light brown hair that was coiffed up, much like Kurts. His eyes were dark brown and looked soft. His smile was bright and looked kind. Kurt addressed that he wasnt his type but agreed that he looked okay for the part. Blaine was standing over Kurt, looking over his shoulder.

"His name is Chandler. I.." Kurt looked up at the dark haired man. His eyes were down and his cheeks tinted the slightest pink. "I really dont want you touching him the way you touch me. But.. make sure youre acting the part realistically. Dont have too much fun, though."

Kurt smiled and grabbed Blaines hand.

"Unless he had dark curls and honey eyes, I wouldnt be worried," Kurt whispered, smiling when Blaines eyes darkened the slightest bit.

Kurt turned back to the stack and thumbed through until he came to an application with a picture of a girl who looked Stephs age. He glanced at the top of the page and saw that her name was Talia. Kurt guessed she looked "Janet" enough, but Kurt felt frustrated because he couldnt even imagine acting with anyone else other than Steph. The same thing went for Blaine. He felt his brain trying to break free from his skull and he closed his eyes. He just wished things didnt have to be like this.

He rearranged the pile until it looked the way he got it, handing it to Blaine. Blaine took it and placed it back onto the piano.

"Are you okay, my love?" Blaine asked, sitting down next to Kurt on the bench. Kurt turned to face Blaine and smiled tentatively.

"Yeah. I guess Im just frustrated. All of this is just.." Kurt paused, not finding the right word. Blaine nodded, though. Kurt smiled gratefully, bringing his hand up to Blaines face, moving his thumb to hover over Blaines bottom lip. Kurt leaned forward to kiss Blaine softly, licking at his lip quickly before pulling away.

"Fucking tease," Blaine growled, voice sounding playful and light. Kurt just smiled before getting up, reaching out to grab Blaines hand.

"Cmon. Theyll be here soon," Kurt said, already feeling the butterflies invade his tummy. Blaine let Kurt lead him down the stage after he grabbed his stuff off of the piano. They chose to sit down in the fifth row, waiting for everyone to arrive.

After about ten minutes, everyone who Blaine had contacted was standing on the stage, waiting for Blaines instructions. They were chatting quietly to themselves before Blaine stood up and cleared his throat, every eye turning toward him within a second.

"I asked you all to be here because I thought itd be more safe to cast understudies for this show. All of you guys performed greatly at callbacks, so it wasnt hard to pinpoint who could be potential understudies," Blaine looked down at Kurt who nodded. Kurt wasnt sure what he was nodding for, but he felt it necessary to do. "I automatically casted Chandler as my understudy. Congratulations."

Chandler stood wide eyed, but after a moment he smiled and nodded under Blaines gaze. Kurt shifted uncomfortably at the thought of performing with Chandler. Kurt knew that Blaine sensed his discomfort, and he smiled at that. Blaine turned to look at the two women.

"Talia and Brooke will be battling for Janet," Blaine turned to the other two men. "Mark and Eric will be battling for Parker."

All five performers on stage nodded simultaneously. Kurt decided to stand and say something, feeling weird that he was just sitting there. He stood up, wiping his hands in his pants before waving.

"Hey, Im Kurt. I was cast Paker and will be analyzing your performances today. Good luck to you all," Kurt said briefly, sitting back down. He felt even more weird than before but he shook it off. Blaine clapped his hands together swiftly.

"Lets get started."

The next hour that followed was the most frustrating, most brutal, and most irritating hour of Kurts young life, and that included helping Rachel pick out a graduation dress during senior year of high school.

Kurt had just finished running through a Parker and Janet scene with Talia and was now walking off of the stage, running his hand through his hair. Blaine informed the group that they were done, notifying them that they would hear from him the next day. They all gathered their things and left, waving goodbye on their way out.

Once they were gone, Kurt sighed heavily and dropped down onto one of the theatre chairs, rubbing his temples agitatedly. He felt Blaine sit next to him and his fingers being pulled away from his face by firm hands. Kurt looked up to see Blaines eyes not two inches away from his. Kurts breath caught before he felt lips on his. Kurt instantly relaxed into the kiss, pressing back with all he was worth. They stayed like that for a while, lips glued together, noses brushing together lightly.

They pulled away with a soft smack, both opening their eyes slowly, reveling in each others presence. Kurt felt Blaines hot breath against his mouth, giving him stability, giving him love, giving him a reason to live.

"My love."

It was just two simple words. Two words that anyone could whisper to him. Two words that had the capability of enslaving him. Two words that had no meaning before but now became the foundation of Kurts existence.

"I love you," Kurt replied, breathing in his Doms scent. Blaine didnt respond. He didnt have to. All he had to do was kiss Kurt and he would know. Kurt would know what he was thinking with just one touch of his lips against his own. He was linked to Blaine forever.

Kurt suddenly felt his love for Blaine overwhelm him, like he couldnt contain it. It was burning bright inside of him. He needed Blaine. He need intimacy and closeness. He needed it to survive. Without being able to contain himself any longer, Kurt got up and straddled Blaines lap, grinding once before leaning down until his mouth was pressed up against Blaine ear.

"I need you. Bad," Kurt whispered huskily. He felt Blaine nod before his mind shut down into what Kurt would later learn as sub-space.
