Told you this chapter is kind of short... Anyway guys am I updating too fast?
Kurt just finished his job. Maybe the toughest one. There is this kid, Benny, who turns out to have lung cancer. Benny reminded too much of Blaine. How? But Kurt did not want to think that. It hurts him more than his other memories.
Kurt told Blaine everything Karofsky did. He should trust Blaine. And Nick. They're both his friends. Kurt like it in Dalton better than McKinley. Sure, McKinley was more fun, but they don't have enough protection, yet in Kurt's first week, he got friends, The Warblers. Like, what about McKinley? Kurt's first week, he got shoved into a locker.
After Blaine heard what Kurt told him, he really wanted to speak to that kid Karofsky. Yes, it was risky, but who cares? Kurt is his friend. Or best friend.
“Kurt, I could talk to that Karofsky kid, you know,” Blaine offered.
“Thanks, Blaine. But I don't think so,” Kurt was touched by Blaine's kindness. “It is far too risky.”
“And,” Blaine said as he got up. “That's why we need friends.”
The next thing Kurt knew is that Blaine dragging him in the halls of Dalton. He didn't know why, but Kurt really feel safe with Blaine. Like, they belong together.
“Hey guys,” Blaine said once he entered the room.
“Hey Blaine,” Thad said. “Hey Kurt.”
“So I was wondering, could you guys do us a favour?” Blaine said while motioning to Kurt and him.
“Sure, once a Warbler always a Warbler right?” Nick smiled. “What is it, Blaine?”
“Nicky, from Kurt I could tell you knew, and knowing you you would probably tell Jeff. And knowing Jeff he would probably tell everyone,” Blaine said to Kurt. “So Kurt, lesson learned, don't tell anything to Nick Duval.”
Kurt just smiled and laughed. “It's okay… They're all my friends.”
“As you wish,” Blaine smiled. “Anyway as I was saying… You all probably know Karofsky.” All Warblers nodded. “He needs to have a lesson, guys. How if I say, Kurt and I will talk to Karofsky, and if we fail, you guys will sing a song?”
The Warblers look at each other, and nodded. “But what if you succeed?” Jeff said.
“We will sing a song, just a different one. What do you guys say?”
All the Warblers nodded.
“Well,” Blaine smirked. “Looks like we got a plan.”
Kurt laughed to himself as he remember that scene. From that time, the only secrets he would tell Nick or Jeff are the simple ones. Kurt was friends with Jeff, not long after. But, Kurt was really thankful of what The Warblers did to help him face Karofsky, and made him who he is.
