Author's Notes: One more chapter after this, I think. Maybe two.

"Daddy, Charlie's crying again! Dadddddyyy!" Elizabeth was tapping Blaine's shoulder to wake him up. "He stinks, too. He's hungry, I think."

Blaine stood up. "Lizzie, Alex, go back to bed, okay? I'll take care of Charlie. Don't wake up PaPa though, okay? He's tired." The twins walked back to their bedrooms. Blaine sighed and went into the nursery, picking up the newborn. He carried him to the kitchen and made a bottle. The stink of a messy diaper overwhelmed him, but he figured it would be better to finish the bottle first.

"Blaine, is everything okay?" Kurt rubbed his eyes and stood in the doorway.

"Baby, go back to sleep, I got him," He pressed a kiss to Blaine's forehead.

"Let me help. I'll change his diaper," Kurt held out his hands.

"No, honey, you're tired. You have that meeting in the morning. Go, I'll be okay," Blaine kissed him on the mouth quickly.

"Alright, alright," Kurt shuffled back to bed.

Blaine set the baby down and began to change his diaper. Even with the twins, he'd always hated this part of having kids, especially when Alex was a newborn and he'd gotten sprayed many times. As he pulled off the diaper and the cool air surprised the little baby, Charlie sprayed Blaine right in the face. Blaine sighed. "Thanks buddy. Thanks." When he'd finished changing the diaper, he set the newborn in the crib for a second and washed off.

He heard crying and began to sing the little boy to sleep.  Just as Charlie's little eyes shut, there was a whisper in the doorway. "Daddy?" Blaine's six year old daughter stood there, holding her teddy bear. "Can you sing me to sleep?"

"Of course, honey," Blaine sighed out of exhaustion and put Charlie in his crib. He carried Lizzie to her bed and tucked her in.

"Wake up, I'm lonely, let's talk about how we
Love to talk on the telephone
We would hang up and go back to absolutely nothing
And by absolutely nothing I mean pick up the phone.

The sun is out, the moon is smiling
In the corner of his eye he's crying for his
Next new arrival for the rest of the night.
Good ol' moon is like me,
We want free but we're stuck in here.

I'll pick up the comics and sympathize with Linus
And the Z's that Dagwood leaves behind.
As for me, I wouldn't mind just to join him along.
I mean, just look at these two pictures can you tell me what's wrong.

The sun is out, the moon is smiling
In the corner of his mind he's timing his
Next new arrival for the rest of the night.
Good ol' moon is like me,
We want free but we're stuck in here.

No more pain for a while,
You and I could sit in the sun and smile.
Maybe then, we'd be friends, yeah,
The moon, sun, and me,
And we could sing together in perfect harmony.
Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo

No more pain for a while,
You and I could sit in the sun and smile.
Maybe then, we'd be friends, yeah
The moon, sun, and me,
And we could sing together in perfect harmony.
Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo. Oh!

Wake up, I'm lonely, let's talk about how we
Need to find a better dream,
Cause it's getting much darker the sun is worn out
And I think it's time for you and I to get some sleep.

Oh, the moon is out, the sun is trying
Not to look upset, but man he's dying for his
Next new arrival for the rest of the night.
Good ol' moon is like me,
We want free

Good ol' moon is like me,
We want free

Good ol' moon is like me,
We want free, but we're stuck in here."

Blaine smiled as his daughter fell asleep. He sang the entire song slower than usual, getting quieter as Lizzie's eyes closed more. Alex, he noticed upon leaving the room, was sleeping on the floor in the door frame, obviously listening in. He chuckled and picked up his son, carrying him to his own bed.

Finally, he settled in next to his husband. "That was lovely," Kurt whispered in his ear.

"You're supposed to be asleep," Blaine leaned on his elbow. "But thank you."

"I had to listen. I love you, Blaine," Kurt sighed.

"I love you, too." Blaine had intended on falling asleep, but Kurt pulled him on top of him and began kissing his neck. But he could live with that.

-

"Dad? PaPa? Can I talk to you?" A thirteen year old Charlie Hummel was leaning on the doorframe of his fathers' bedrooms. Blaine set the newspaper down and rubbed the scruff on his beard.

"Sure, bud. What's up?" He sat up further and bed and helped Kurt up, too. He'd noticed that Kurt was having trouble with that stuff lately.

"Well, I, um... I..." His words weren't coming to him. All of the times he'd practiced in the bathroom mirror were forgotten in his nervousness.

"Honey, you can tell us anything, you know that," Kurt smiled warmly. "Come and sit."

"I know, it's... it's just hard to really say. I mean, the words are easy but... hard to say," Charlie sighed and sat down.

Kurt and Blaine shared a glance, knowing the exact feeling he was talking about. "Son," Blaine began, "We know how you feel. It's okay."

"Thanks, Dad... Wait," his eyes lit up, "I think I can... I think I can just show you, if you'll let me. But you have to promise that you won't hate me or think I'm weird or judge me or anything."

"Of course not," Kurt patted his knee. "Go ahead, we'll still be here."

Charlie scooted off the bed and shakily walked to his bedroom. When Blaine was sure he was out of earshot, he looked at Kurt. "What do you think... I mean... do you think he's gay?"

"I don't know... Unless he's got a boy hiding in a closet how exactly is he going to show us that?" Kurt whispered.

"You're right..." Blaine sighed. There were butterflies in his stomach, the same ones he'd felt when he had come out to his own parents.

"Dad? PaPa? Are you ready?" Charlie's voice came from the hallway. He was obviously hiding beside the doorway, just out of sight.

"Yes, we are," Kurt said.

"You promise?" Charlie asked once more, needing reassurance.

"I promise," Blaine said, Kurt following short after.

"O-okay..." Charlie's voice cracked. He slowly stepped into the doorframe. Blaine and Kurt took a second to take what they saw in. There was no hair on Charlie's legs. He had a hastily done make up job and was wearing a wig that hadn't been put on with too much care. He was in a black skirt that went almost to his knees and a giraffe print halter top. He was being careful not to fall over in his 4 inch heels.

Kurt and Blaine didn't say anything. Kurt simply stood up, walked over, and embraced Charlie in a compassionate hug. Blaine patted his shoulder. "Thanks for telling us, bud," he smiled and hugged him when Kurt finally let go.

"You know we don't care, right?" Kurt took Charlie's hand. "You are whoever you are and that's okay with us. If you feel like a girl, you are free to be that way."

"Thank you guys," Charlie was crying at this point.

"Thank you," Kurt smiled and squeezed his shoulder.

"Kids... they bully me at school for being gay already and... I just don't want that to happen," Charlie began to cry.

Blaine looked at Kurt. "Wait, what? They bully you for being gay? You're not gay."

"No, I'm not. But they think I am because... Never mind."

"Because of us," Kurt sighed and looked at the floor.

Charlie nodded silently.

"I think I know where you should go," Blaine patted his shoulder. "You can live with Grandma and Grandpa, okay? You can go to McKinley. After Kurt and I left, they made a zero tolerance harassment policy. It's followed strictly."

"Really?" Charlie looked up.

"Really," Kurt responded for Blaine.
