"Oh my god, Blaine, oh my god, I can't even believe this right now, you're Blaine Freaking Anderson and I'm just Kurt and YOU JUST GOT UP HOLY SH- oh god we're in a high school I can't swear. What is wrong with me? I must be dreaming, Blaine, I must be. You can't be serious about this, you could find someone so much..." Kurt's rambling was interupted. He'd been so busy freaking out that he hadn't noticed his boyfriend slowly standing to kiss Kurt passionately.
"I thought I told you boys," the principal came scrambling over, "No personal contact is allowed here! Blaine, I'm glad to see you walking, but please be more private about your affairs."
The look on Blaine's face was one of pure terror. Not only because of the man insulting his boyfriend and himself, but his legs were shaky. He hadn't tried walking too much in fear of falling and waking Kurt. He didn't want to fall. Kurt noticed it and quickly led Blaine to his wheelchair.
In all of the scramble, Blaine was sure Kurt had forgotten the question that had led to all of this. He didn't have much time to worry, though. Kurt gave a direct glare to the principal before taking his boyfriend's hands and looking deep into his eyes. "Yes," he smiled with tears in his eyes, "Yes, I will marry you! Yes!" He was giggling with joy by that time.
Blaine was giggling, too. He looked to the side before smiling passionately up at his boyfriend, quirking an eyebrow to let him know that something was up. The principal had gone to get security guards to remove the boys from the celebration. Kurt looked over, too, and laughed. The security guards were coming towards them. Kurt gave Blaine a childish look and, before he could protest, Blaine was being pushed through the security guards. Both boys were laughing hysterically as they whizzed down the school sidewalk and finally made it to the street.
"I had a limo coming, Kurt, but he won't be here for at least ten minutes. I had planned on staying a little longer," he rubbed the back of his neck nervously.
"Hey, honey, it's okay," Kurt said between deep breaths. He rubbed Blaine's tense shoulders, leaning over to kiss his neck when he'd finally gotten his breath back. "I love you, things are okay, we can just wait here, together. Hey," he laughed, "At least we don't have to go back! We left your gown in our rush and I'm pretty sure your cap flew off into one of those security guards!"
Both boys started laughing again. "Is it hard to laugh and run?" Blaine finally asked when he could speak again.
Kurt paused. "Yeah, it is... Why?"
"I want to race you," Blaine looked up, his eyes hopeful and his face pale.
"Sweetie, I don't think that's a good idea..." Kurt sighed and kneeled down next to Blaine.
"Please don't do that," Blaine looked away, knowing he was choking up.
"Do what, Blaine?" Kurt put his hands around both of Blaines.
"Kneel like that... I feel like... I feel like you're making fun of me even though I know you're not. I'm sorry, it's stupid..." He shook his head and concentrated on a caterpillar on the sidewalk.
"I'm sorry, Blaine," Kurt stood up and brushed his hands through Blaine's hair, which was a difficult feat because he'd gelled it that morning, against Kurt's wishes. "I thought that standing made you feel condescended, I don't know... I'm sorry. I'm so proud of you for walking today." Kurt began to bring his foot over to step on the fuzzy little caterpillar that Blaine was oh-so interested in.
"No," Blaine held his hand up and looked at Kurt once before directing his gaze back at the insect, "Leave it."
"Why are you distracting yourself from me, Blaine? We are on our way to get ready for a wedding. To whiich, by the way, I have no idea what I'm wearing. I trust you have selected something I would approve of?" Kurt quirked an eyebrow and leaned down just a little to make Blaine look at him.
Blaine gave a hopeful smile. "So you really want to marry me?"
"Blaine," Kurt took his hand. "Of course I do. That's why I said yes, isn't it?"
"You're right," Blaine's eyes pleaded for a kiss.
Kurt kissed him quickly and then skipped away to the limo, opening the handicap door on the side. "Not until the wedding," he sing-songed, teasing his boyfriend. Blaine reached up and tickled him on the way into the limo and soon enough they were both exploding with laughter once again.
-
"Knock, knock, beautiful," Blaine was leaning against the doorframe, one hand poised at his hip, one behind his back. Of course, he was raising an eyebrow.
Kurt dropped his concealer and whipped around. "You're standing! Are you sure you can stand this long? Hey, you're not supposed to see me before the wedding?" Kurt pretended to be worried, but he was actually just flustered. Blaine looked amazing, even if he went overboard on the gel.
"Wow," Blaine pulled his wheelchair from behind him and wheeled over, one hand still enclosing something. "That black tux Rachel picked out, it, uh, it really suits you. You look beautiful." Blaine had trouble making eye contact with Kurt, he looked so beautiful and Blaine was just in a white tuxedo with a black bow tie, similar to the one he'd worn to prom.
"Stop looking there," Kurt lifted Blaine's chin jokingly. "Thank you, you look so handsome."
Blaine blushed. "Really?"
"Yes," Kurt assured him. "Now," Kurt picked up his chapstick and applied some, "What are you doing here before the wedding? It's bad luck!" He smacked his lips and Blaine couldn't help but chuckle and rub his chin.
"We're both guys, Kurt. You should know," Blaine teased.
"I know, but you proposed to me and I am the one walking down the aisle. So doesn't that basically mean that I am playing the womanly role here? Because it's not like we're two girls. They can walk down the aisle together. We'd just be endlessly waiting because there'd be nobody there.
Blaine laughed. "Just because you're walking down the aisle doesn't make you a woman."
Kurt just shook his head, giggling. "Oh my god! What about Mercedes and all of the New Directions and your friends and oh my god- What if they don't know?"
"Kurt," Blaine smiled and took his hand, "I took care of everything. I found your list of people you'd want as a wedding party and I took the liberty of asking them for you... I hope it wasn't from when you were like 13 or something."
"Wow, good thing I said yes then, huh? You really were expecting me to say yes," Kurt laughed, but saw Blaine's face fall a bit. "Sorry, sweetie. Thank you for doing all that, that is very sweet."
"I know the girls' dresses aren't something Elizabeth Taylor designed, but it was the closest I could find..." His voice trailed off.
"I'm sure they're beautiful," Kurt lifted his chin again and kissed him. "Just like my perfect boyfriend... fiance, actually," He corrected himself.
Blaine pressed his nose to Kurt's. "I thought you weren't kissing me until the wedding," he whispered.
"Well," Kurt looked down at their noses and then back up at Blaine, "I was hoping that this visit meant the wedding was starting."
"It does, but I wanted to give you something first," Blaine pulled a way a bit and opened his hand to reveal the caterpillar from the sidewalk earlier that afternoon.
"You saved it?" Kurt's eyebrows went up. He didn't understand.
"I want to watch it grow, so I made the staff of this place get me a jar," Blaine laughed and pulled the jar from behind him in the wheelchair. It had leaves and grass in it. There was a single twig with a few small branches sticking off of it, which Kurt assumed was for when the caterpillar made a cacoon.
"Why, Blaine?" Kurt smiled at his adorable fiance's effot, but he didn't understand the sudden caterpillar fettish.
"Because. We can watch it grow and set it free. Today, our love grows even more. When that butterfly comes out of it's cacoon," he paused to see Kurt's proud face when he knew that word, "it'll be like our love being set free to grow even more. That's really cheesy, sorry," Blaine placed the caterpillar in the jar and screwed the lid back on. There were holes in the lid so that the caterpillar wouldn't suffocate, even though the jar was quite large. "It is okay?"
"Well, I hadn't planned on taking a child on our honeymoon with us," Kurt fakely acted upset and dramatically sighed, "But what's one more? Three's not a crowd, I suppose." Both boys laughed. "How'd you know the term for the shell a caterpillar gets?"
"A cacoon? Well, we learned it in school when we were little, but when I was a teenager in Boston I took an interest in entomology, that's the study of insects. I have the books and notebooks I took packed away in my ‘Memories' box," he chuckled. "Are you ready to marry me, Kurt Hummel?"
Kurt smiled proudly. "Only if you promise to tell me anything and everything about you that is as adorable as that. We're looking at those notebooks later," he added with a point, purposely trying to act like Cooper.
"The same for you?" Blaine quirked an eyebrow.
"I promise."

I'm glad you like the caterpillar and the guards, lol. And yeah, weddings always seem to stir up some trouble! To be honest, I spent much of the time I was waiting to leave my exams not going over my test, but trying to decide what to do!
It so great u take your time to write and share your work with others to read .. As well as study.. It must take a lot out of u and stil mange to get them done good luck with study's as well as writing ..
Aw, thank you! That's so sweet of you to say. I love sharing my writing, it's like... sharing a piece of myself. And what's the fun of doing something if you don't get to share it with others? Unless it's dancing around my house and scream-singing. That should not be shared. And thank you for the luck, I'm gonna need it for Regents!
