"Blaine, I..." Kurt's voice trailed off. The smile had long faded from his face.
"You're interested in someone else? But we... We..." Blaine couldn't continue his sentence. It was too painful.
"No, Blaine. The only person I'm interested in is you." Kurt couldn't believe that Blaine could think something like that.
"Oh... Then what's the problem?" Blaine sat up and pulled away from Kurt a bit.
"I would love to be your boyfriend; I just don't want to lose my best friend," Kurt looked down at his hands and fiddled with them, not wanting to look Blaine in the eye.
"Look at me," Blaine lifted Kurt's chin gently and kissed him. "I will never," Blaine kissed him again, "Hurt you."
"You're sick right now, Blaine. I'm not accusing you of being that kind of person, but is this just because you feel alone?" Kurt said slowly.
"No," Blaine took Kurt's hands into his, "I love you so, so much. This is something I've wanted since the day I noticed how your eyes fade from deep blue to gray."
"I love you, Blaine," Kurt blushed.
"So..." Blaine elbowed Kurt, "Is that a yes?"
Kurt slapped his arm, afraid that elbowing would cause a vomiting spell. He rolled his eyes jokingly, "Yes."
Blaine squeezed Kurt and kissed him. Kurt pulled away and gave Blaine a hug.
"Kurt?"
"Yeah?"
"Has anyone ever threatened to kill you?"
"What? No!" Kurt pulled away quickly. Why would Blaine ask that?
"Did Karofsky?"
"No, he didn't get the chance. He moved away before he could do much more, remember?"
"Oh, right..." Blaine got a cold chill and shivers ran through his body.
"Blaine," Kurt's expression became serious. "Did Sebastian threaten to kill you?"
"Kurt, it's nothing... I'm sure he didn't mean it." Blaine stood up after Kurt, who had jumped up as soon as the tear had formed in his eye.
"That's it. You're coming to McKinley." Kurt started packing Blaine's things.
"Where would I live?" Blaine really wanted to go, but... How could he expect that from Kurt?
"You would live with me, can I ask my dad?"
"The apartment's so small, Kurt. Coop and I were squished in as it was, your room is half the size that mine was." Blaine was making excuses because he had no right to do that to Kurt.
"Blaine, we moved last week. I actually came here to tell you about that. My dad has this girlfriend and it's pretty serious. They've got a son, he's our age, and he didn't want to share a room with me. So we got a new house. I have the basement all to myself, it's huge. There's a guest bedroom, you could stay there or you could stay in my room."
"I couldn't ask that of you," Blaine shook his head.
"Yes, you can." Kurt pulled out his phone and dialed the number. He went into the hall. Blaine heard a muffled voice, then a bit of a squeal. "You can come home with me tonight, if you want!" He returned to the room, beaming. The phone was still pressed to his ear. "My dad says he'll go register you at McKinley now and we can collect all your things from here today. Do you think you can manage the drive?"
"Anything for you," Blaine smiled and hugged Kurt, saying his thanks into the phone. Once Kurt had hung up, Blaine sobbed into his shoulder.
"What's wrong?"
"Happy tears," Blaine laughed out loud, "Happy tears!"
Kurt giggled and started crying too. He sniffled, wiped his eye with his handkerchief, and handed it to Blaine, "I hope you don't mind, you'll have to stay with me. Carole, that's my dad's girlfriend," he added at Blaine's confused look, "has a big, nice family. So the guest room should stay open."
"That's fine," Blaine smiled and started to pack.
"No funny business though," Kurt winked. "No, lay down. You are not packing, you're sick."
Kurt went to the classrooms and got Blaine's things. He packed up Blaine's room, which didn't consist of much as he only had a few weekend outfits and some small possessions, including a guitar.
"Dad!" Kurt grinned as he led Blaine through the door.
"Nice house, Burt," Blaine shook Kurt's dad hands.
"Thank you, son. Nice to see you again. You're all grown up!" He rubbed Blaine's hair. "Ouch, take it easy on the gel!" Burt chuckled and took his own hat off, rubbing his bald head. "Kurt can take you downstairs."
Blaine wobbled downstairs, still feeling sick.
"My dad brought you down my old bed, I hope it will do. It matches the room scheme," he added, nodding, like he thought Blaine was worried.
Blaine popped down on the comfortable bed. "Thank you, Kurt."
Kurt gave a "You're welcome," But Blaine had already fallen asleep. Kurt smiled, tucked him in because he was already in his pajamas, and got ready for bed himself. As he shut his lamp off and crawled into bed, he took one last look at the man across the room. ‘That man's my boyfriend,' he smiled to himself.
His beautiful, beautiful boyfriend.

"Blaine!" Rachel hugged him tight. Mercedes patted his back, then noticed that Kurt was just letting go of Blaine's hand to let him embrace his fellow glee club members. She raised an eyebrow and Kurt nodded, clasping his hands together and standing on his toes.
"Let's welcome our new member, Blaine Anderson!" Mr. Schue gestured towards Blaine, who received many claps.
"Uh, hi... I'd like to say that I'm not going to be a spy," He stuttered nervously. The glee club laughed and many people assured him that it wasn't a big deal. "So, uh, anyways, I wanted to sing... I wanted to sing a song about how Kurt makes me feel." Everyone smiled, Kurt's eyes almost started with tears.
I've been alone....
Surrounded by darkness...
I've seen how heartless
The world can be
And I've seen you crying
You felt like it's hopeless
I'll always do my best
To make you see
Blaine choked up with the first lines, but he managed to finish the song, blasting out the final "You're not alone." He started crying and the entire glee club embraced him.
When Kurt stood up, everyone parted like the red sea. Kurt walked over slowly, held his arms out, and Blaine fell into them. He kissed Blaine's head and led him to his new chair.
"I love you, Blaine," Kurt smiled.
Through the sobs, Kurt was pretty sure he heard, "I love you, too."
