Author's Notes: so here's the second half of dinner guysssss :) It might not be exactly what you thought/wanted but it will all make sense soon enough! Don't you worry, my little darlings :D
“Dude, you and that spoon need to get a room,” Finn said, staring at Kurt with a wide-eyed expression. Kurt removed the spoon from his mouth with a 'pop' and Blaine suppressed a laugh as Kurt's face turned red.

“There's a game on. You a football fan, Blaine?” Burt asked. Blaine nodded.

“Oh yeah! I love football... anything with balls really. I love playing with them.” Blaine smirked at Kurt and Burt clasped his hands together, standing up.

“Then let's get the game on!” Finn and Burt made their way into the living room.

“Kurt and I will hang back here and clean up. Go enjoy yourself,” Carole said to Blaine. Blaine smiled and followed the other two guys into the living room.

Carole and Kurt cleaned up the dishes and brought them into the kitchen.

“Kurt, sweetie. I am so sorry,” Carole said, pulling him into a hug that knocked the remaining air out of Kurt's lungs.

“W-what?” he asked, stunned. “Sorry about what, Carole?” She tilted her head to the side and gave a gentle smile.

“About what Blaine said earlier... him having a boyfriend? I'm sorry sweetie. I know you liked him.” Kurt laughed a little and then suddenly remembered he was meant to be sad about it.

“Oh...that,” Kurt said, putting on a sad voice and sounding extra 'depressed' about the fact. “Thanks, Carole. But I'll be fine... eventually.” He turned around, trying to hide his smile and internally screaming 'HA! THAT'S ME! YEP, ME ME ME ME ME MEEEEE. I'M THE BOYFRIEND. HA!'

“Well, I'm sure you can do much better,” she said, rubbing his arm in a positive way.

“I don't think I can.” Kurt hid his smile from his step-mother. “I'm going to join them, okay?” Carole nodded as she slipped on her bright blue rubber gloves. Kurt walked into the living room. “So, what's the score?” he asked, flopping on the sofa next to Finn.

“Do you care?” Finn asked.

“Nope” Kurt replied automatically, popping his 'p'. Blaine laughed a little. Kurt turned to Blaine. “Well now that dinner is over, I think we should hear some more stories about Mr. Anderson's pimp days when he was just surrounded with girls.”

“I wasn't a pimp,” Blaine fought.

“Yeah, maybe not an official one,” Kurt replied quietly. “So when you said 'a few', how many we talking? Three, four? Or more like... twenty?”

“A few, not a flock!” Blaine joked. “I don't know... I think there was... five? Maybe six?” he guessed.

“Six? It seriously took that long to realise you like a little something to grab onto?”

“Whoa!” Burt interjected. “A bit personal there, kiddo.” Kurt nodded with an apologetic look to his father.

“Well, I thought I liked... both. I still think I do sometimes,” Blaine confessed. Kurt's face dropped.

“R-really?” he asked, suddenly very unsure of himself and his relationship with Blaine. Maybe Mercedes was right, maybe he should use finger quotations too...

“Well, I mean I can appreciate a pretty girl,” Blaine replied.

“Yeah but when you see one, do you want to have sex with her?” Finn asked. Blaine stopped and thought.

“Well... no... not really.”

“You're gay dude, congrats,” Finn said, stuffing a sandwich in his mouth.

“We've just had dinner! How are you possibly eating again?” Kurt asked his step-brother.

“I'm an athlete! I have to keep up my strength,” Finn argued, speaking with his mouth full.

Finn, Burt, and Blaine suddenly started shouting things at the tv but Blaine's words just echoed in Kurt's mind.

“I still think I do sometimes.”
“I still think I do sometimes.”
“I still think I do sometimes.”

“Kurt? Are you okay?” Blaine asked. It snapped Kurt of his own mind and back into reality. He nodded slowly.

“I-I, I think maybe you should go now? It's getting late,” Kurt said quietly so only Blaine could hear. Blaine's eyebrows knitted together and he sighed. “We'll talk tomorrow,” Kurt finished. Blaine nodded and stood up.

“Um, well, it's getting late so I should get going. Thanks so much for having me over for dinner, it was... really nice to see you again, Burt and to meet your amazing family. I've... really missed this house.” Blaine smiled a little and looked at Kurt. “Everything about it.” Kurt looked away.

“Carole, it was lovely to meet you. Finn, Kurt... I'll see you at school tomorrow, goodnight everyone,” Blaine said as Kurt stood up and showed him to the door.

“I hope nothing you heard tonight made you change your mind about me- us,” Blaine said quietly as they got to the door. “It's all in the past. What matters is what's here and now. And what's here and now... is me and you,” Blaine continued. Kurt nodded.

“I know, it was just a lot to take in. I'll... see you tomorrow, okay?” Kurt suggested. Blaine nodded and stepped out.

“Oh and Kurt?” Kurt turned towards him and Blaine connected their lips in a sweet, quick kiss and smiled. “I've been waiting to do that all night.”

“I've been waiting to do something more,” Kurt joked. Blaine smiled and was happy Kurt was warming up to him again.

“Bye,” Blaine whispered as he walked towards his car and smiled.

All in all, Blaine thought dinner was a success. Mostly... you know except for the Little Blaine that popped out during dinner, Kurt flirting with him, confessing he'd slept with girls and making Kurt mad... yeah... a success.

“So... how was dinner?” Mercedes asked as she shuffled next to Kurt in English.

“Why do you care?” he asked, nose deep in a book that he wasn't really reading.

“Because I'm your best friend and- look, Kurt. I'm sorry, okay? I'm just looking out for you and I know it's the last thing you want to hear but... I'm not sure I trust Blaine, and until he shows me that he can be trusted, I'm never going to accept your rel- you two together.” Kurt gulped and sighed.

“I'm sorry too, Cedes. I really didn't mean what I said... I just wanted my best friend and my boyfr- ...to get along. That's all.” Mercedes nodded and reached her hand across to him. He squeezed it and looked up to see Blaine smiling at him and nodding. Kurt gave a small smile back and then looked away quickly to continue to talk to his formerly estranged best friend.

I'm going to see if I can get the tumblr app to add a following, but I don't think it does unless someone within tumblr has linked you to them. Lemme try.... If you follow me back, you might not like me anymore. I don't know why, but it seems everyone on tumblr hates me. I'm socially impaired, so I have no clue why no one responds to me anymore, even the people who have told people to put stuff in their ask boxes.

i would have second thoughts too.

NOOOOO he shouldn't have second thoughts. It's not like Blaine is gonna go cheat on him they are together now. Ohh and I love this part..."You're gay dude, congrats," Finn said,
