Author's Notes: Sooooo here's Dinner: Part 1. Sorry it's in 2 parts, this was actually a lot harder to write than I thought it would be ahhaha
“Okay, please don't be embarrassing! This man is my teacher, okay? I just need this evening to go smoothly and end as quickly as possible, got it?” Kurt said to his dad. “Couldn't you have dressed up a little?” he asked, looking over at his father's appearance of dark wash baggy jeans and a flannel shirt.

“Jesus, Kurt! It's not the pope, okay? Calm down,” Burt answered. Kurt nodded and let out a deep breath through his mouth.

“Hoo hoo hah hah,” Kurt said through his breaths.

“You're also not giving birth, sweetie. Everything will be fine,” Carole assured him. Kurt just nodded.

“Am I the only one who thinks this is weird? I mean... what are we supposed to call him?” Finn asked. Kurt's eyes widened. Oh My God! Finn was right! Was he supposed to call him Blaine? Oh God!

I think it's weird and I'm pretty sure... Mr. Anderson does too,” Kurt answered, deciding to go with the formal name.

“No baby stories! Or pictures!” Kurt shouted to his dad.

“Kurt... he knew you when you were a baby- well, a kid,” Burt replied as the doorbell rang.

“Oh God, we look like the Brady's all gathered around the door like this! Quick go in the living room or something, I'll answer it!” Kurt ordered. Burt rolled his eyes but they all filed into the small living area. Kurt took another deep breath before making a fist around the doorknob, squeezing it slightly with nerves before turning it and opening the door to reveal Blaine, smartly dressed in dark skinny jeans and a crisp ice blue button down, holding a pie of some sort.

“Hi,” Blaine breathed out. “Do I look okay?” he asked, sounding worried. Kurt laughed a little.

“You look great,” Kurt whispered. “So... you ready?”

“God no.” Blaine replied honestly.

“Welcome to our home, Mr. Anderson!” Kurt said loudly. Blaine rolled his eyes playfully and stepped into the house. Burt and Carole came into the hall to greet Blaine.

“Hello! I'm Carole, Burt's wife, you must be Blaine,” she said with a friendly smile. They shook hands and kissed on the cheek.

“Hi everyone, thanks for having me. I brought an apple pie, it's my own recipe so I don't know if it'll be any good.” he smiled, giving Carole the pie who smelled it and smiled.

“Well it smells amazing! Thank you!” She bustled away off into the kitchen to put the pie down.

“Blaine,” Burt stated, holding out his hand for him to shake.

“Mr. Hummel, great to see you again, you look great,” Blaine complimented.

“Oh call me Burt... And well so do you! Jeez, how old are you now? You must be about twenty-”

“Twenty-four, sir.” Blaine nodded. Kurt didn't say anything, he just watched Blaine converse with his family in awe. Blaine was handling it all so well, like he'd known them forever.

Burt and Blaine continued to talk and Carole soon called them all to dinner. Burt sat on one end of the table, Carole to his right, Finn to his left. Kurt sat next to Finn and opposite Blaine, who was sitting next to Carole.

They talked about nothing really, just mindless small talk like one does over dinner until Burt started taking the conversation in a... different route.

“So, what's the story, son? Are you married?” Burt asked, stuffing a piece of beef into his mouth.

“Um, no, sir. I'm not.” Burt nodded.

“Single then?” Burt asked. Blaine maintained eye contact with Burt whilst he felt Kurt's eyes boring into his face. Blaine smiled a little and knocked his knee gently against Kurt's.

“No, not single. I have a boyfriend.” Burt and Carole smiled.

“Oh well that's great. So is love in the air then?” Suddenly Kurt started coughing as he gulped water from his glass.

“Sorry... um, down the wrong hole.” Kurt smiled.

Ha! The wrong hole,” Finn laughed and stared at the blank faces on the table. “Get it? Hole?” Carole frowned.

“Finn! I'm sorry about him, Blaine.” Blaine smiled and looked at Kurt, but not long enough to draw suspicion.

“Um, well to answer your question Burt, it's... a new relationship.” Burt nodded in response and Kurt let out a breath.

“So like, you're gay... haven't you ever like... wanted to have sex with a girl? Ever? Just to see what it's like?” Finn asked, face scrunched up in confusion.

“Finn! I can't believe you! I'm so sorry!” Carole spoke on behalf of her son.

“No Carole, really it's fine.” Blaine smiled. “Well... honestly? I have. I've slept with a few girls... whilst in relationships with them, of course.” Kurt coughed again.

“Oh really?” he raised his eyebrows and looked slightly pissed off. Blaine looked at him. “Sex and relationships... with... girls? Wow, looks like I'm doing the whole gay thing wrong then, huh?” Kurt questioned.

“Kurt! What is with you two tonight?” Burt asked his sons. Finn looked at Kurt but Kurt never took his eyes off Blaine.

“It was when I was in college... I was... confused,” Blaine explained.

“So when you-”

“I think that's enough about Blaine's personal life over dinner, Finn,” Kurt interrupted. Finn's eyebrows knitted together.

“But he said it was okay,” Finn argued.

“I think Kurt's probably right about this one, Finn.” Blaine smiled a little. “So what about you kids? Any relationships? Finn?” Blaine asked. Finn nodded whilst stuffing food in his mouth.

“Yeah, I've been dating Rachel Berry for two years now,” Finn answered.

“Rachel Berry... hmm... oh! She's in glee, right? Small brunette? Great smile?” Blaine asked. Finn smiled at the thought.

“That's the one.” Blaine smiled too.

“And... Kurt?” Blaine asked. Everyone's attention turned to Kurt. Kurt just stared at Blaine for a while before picking up his cutlery and smoothly cutting a piece of meat.

“There's this one guy but... I'm not too sure,” Kurt replied, ignoring Blaine's stare.

“Oh really? Why's that?” Blaine asked, his voice in a slight mocking tone.

“He's just really...confusing,” Kurt answered, popping the meat into his mouth and chewing slowly. “Plus... it's hard you know?” Kurt continued, rubbing his knee with Blaine's. “I just don't know if I'm prepped and ready for a relationship right now.” Kurt smirked a little at his plate.

“Well,” Blaine started, his voice coming out a lot higher than he would've liked. He cleared his throat. “I'm sure everything will work out for you.” Blaine shuffled in his seat and felt the growing erection Kurt had given him, which was growing bigger every second as Kurt's foot slid up the inside of Blaine's leg and rested on his inner thigh, stroking the tender skin slightly.

“How about dessert?” Blaine asked. Carole made to get up. “No, please, let me,” Blaine offered.

“It's okay Carole, I'll help. You just relax. Who wants whipped cream with theirs?” Kurt asked. A resounding 'me!' came from the family and Kurt stood up. “This way, Mr. Anderson.” Blaine moved his hand to his crotch and covered it slightly as he followed Kurt into the kitchen. When they were certain they were alone Blaine could finally speak.

“You need to stop it,” Blaine whispered as he watched Kurt bring over the pie with a pie-cutter.

“Stop what?” Kurt smirked, acting innocent.

“You know what! I'm getting... excited at the table!” Blaine complained. Kurt turned towards him and stopped cutting the pie.

“Oh, well that must be terribly awkward for you.” he stated. Blaine laughed a little.

“Kind of, yeah.”

“Well, you know what was awkward for me? Finding out my boyfriend has had sex with girls in front of my family... so I guess you'll just have to deal with it.” Kurt smiled at Blaine and turned back towards the pie and continued serving. Blaine's mouth gaped open. Kurt was doing this on purpose! He knew what it did to him, this was punishment for something he did before he ever met Kurt! That's so not fair!

“It's war.” Blaine whispered in Kurt's ear from behind him. Kurt smirked and turned towards him.

“It's so on.” He smirked again and continued to serve. Finally they were ready and Kurt insisted on carrying the tray in. Blaine nodded and walked close behind him. Just as they made their way into the dining room, Blaine stuck out his foot slightly and Kurt tripped over it,nearly falling to the floor and dropping the pies before Blaine held out his arms and caught him.

“Better watch where you're going there, Kurt,” Blaine warned. Kurt's eyes narrowed at him and Blaine released him, but not before grazing his hand 'accidentally' over Kurt's crotch. Kurt gasped.

“Sweetie, are you okay? Lucky Blaine caught you!” Carole said. Kurt nodded slowly.

“Yeah. Lucky.” Kurt and Blaine both sat down as everyone started eating the pie that Blaine made.

“This is great pie, Blaine,” Burt said, spraying some whipped cream on the side. Blaine smiled.

“Mmm, yeah,” Kurt said, sucking on the spoon and closing his eyes. Blaine gulped and stuffed a giant spoonful of pie into his mouth.

He couldn't take this.
