Thunder rolled through the sky overhead, and Santana jerked awake to find two pairs of equally terrified eyes staring back at her through the gloom. Drawing her blanket up to her chest nervously, she looked around to see two makeshift beds abandoned, the blankets bunched up and the pillows dented by sleeping heads. "Where are Kurt and Blaine?" Tina asked, the first to say it aloud, voice thick with sleep and high with fright.

The enormous barn door creaked open, and they all started again, reaching for any part of each other they could reach. Blaine crept in, drained of colour and hugging himself tightly, eyes darting to each of them in turn. "Kurt's gone," he said softly, voice devoid of emotion. "I think I heard him scream."

As the three girls all looked at each other, masked with shock, they missed the way Blaine looked out into the night with a desolate look in his eyes. A sudden cool breeze rolled through the barn, making the four shiver, but Blaine just looked down at his phone.

Please don't be mad. I'm doing this for us. Please believe me when I say I love you, more than anything. When I find a place to stay, I'll let you know. Blaine, darling, I love you so much. Never forget that, even when everyone tries to tell you something else. I'm so sorry - K xoxo

I can't help noticing that you've been sneaking off to roll in the hay with someone else, just when I thought we had a good thing going on. And I happen to know he's still closeted. Wouldn't want someone to find out who he's been slipping away for secret kisses with, would we?

Don't you dare out him, you disgusting pig.

And how are you going to stop me?

I'll do anything you want. Just please don't hurt Blaine.

Come to meet me in the clearing tonight. Bring $1000 and come alone. And I want you out of here. Make your friends think your gone. I'd like some access to pretty little Tina.

And don't even think about not showing, or bringing a friend, or calling the police. I will find out, and I'll make sure the whole town knows about Anderson's dirty little secret.

You're a sick, twisted bastard. I have no idea why Teagan got her heart broken over you, or what Tina or I ever saw in you.

If you love him as much as you say, you'll bring me the money and skip town.

Fine. I'll be there tonight.

STILL MISSING: KURT HUMMEL MISSING FOR A YEAR, FAMILY STILL LOOKING

Rosewood became the sight of a crazy mystery on August 6th of last year, when sixteen year old Kurt Hummel disappeared from a friend's backyard. His close friends Blaine Anderson, Santana Lopez, Tina Cohen-Chang and Quinn Fabray were all interviewed by the police, and the four of them all told the same story, paraphrased here:

'We were all having a bit of a party in Tina's family's barn and it was around four am when a crack of thunder woke us up. Blaine and Kurt weren't in their beds, but Blaine came back in a minute later and told us he'd been out looking for Kurt when he'd woken up and found him gone, and he hadn't found anything. But he had heard Kurt scream. After that, we all went looking for about half an hour, and none of us could find him, so we ran into the house and called the police.'

The boy, who would be seventeen now, is desperately missed by the entire community and his family, who are still searching for answers. Is Kurt Hummel dead, as many presume? Or is he alive somewhere, held in handcuffs and ropes? Only time and further investigation can solve the Rosewood mystery and put the volatile spirit of Kurt Hummel to rest.

These people are crazy. I can't believe they think I'm somewhere handcuffed and tied up. The only person who'd ever tie me up is you. Are you still coming to see me tonight?

From: Blaine 16:25

I can't when I promise, there's this big family thing going on, my brother's finally home from filming on location. Rain check? I might be able to slip out after they go to bed. I miss you so much. Can't you come home?

From: Kurt 16:28

Honey, I can't, I really really can't. He's breathing down my neck, it's your life on the line if I don't keep doing what he wants. I won't risk you being hurt just to come home. You know I miss you all.

From: Blaine 16:30

I wish you would come home. I want you to hold my hand in the halls and kiss me goodbye every night and not have to sneak around to spend five minutes with you, every second spent panicking that we'll be found out. I love you.

From: Kurt 16:31

One day, darling.
