Hummelberry

So today we went to this karaoke bar that Rachel and Kurt like going to, bringing Blainealong so we could all meet Hummel' s 'friend' and watched as Hummelberry performed karaoke for HOURS!!!!! They continued to ruin my favorite songs each duet at a time. I finally had enough after an ear bleading Hummelberry version of "Hey There Delilah" and escaped to the restroom for the rest of the night. Times like these I wish that Britts was here for a simple diva off between them and us to prove just who sounds better together and sounds better PERIOD!!!! Sadly she's still at MIT. At least it's her last year, *sighs*.

"I think I'm madly in love." Kurt confessed at dinner.

"I'll throw up on you, if you say that again while I'm trying to eat something that I'm surprised doesn't taste like rubber since it came from vegan herself." Santana said in a pretend satisfied voice.

Rachel ignored Santana and looked up at Kurt, "What did Blaine do this time?"

Kurt blushed at his name, "He's just, just such a gentleman and cute and nice and...." He trailed off putting his elbow on the table and resting his chin on his hand.

"How do even know this hobbit is quote on quote 'cute',he wears hair gel like a druggy pops pills. " Santana said in a disgusted voice. Kurt shot her a dead glare.

"Alright, let's not start a riot." Rachel said clapping her hands. Kurt looked down at his plate and played with his food.

"Is it always like this?" Finn asked facing Rachel.

"No, usually we eat in silence or just eat separately. On different times. In different buildings." Rachel answered slowing down every sentence then quickly looked down at her plate. Finn looked at each person around him not sure what to say or do next. Kurt lifted his eyes to look at Finn with a sorrowful expression, his eyes darted back down quickly and stared at his food not able to find the energy to play with it anymore. Santana pressed her lips together and Rachel sat with her head in her arm looking ready to cry. Finn wrapped his arm around his girlfriend's back and kissed the top of her head. Rachel's tears spilled on her food and Kurt outstretched his hand laying it on her hand that was resting on the table.

"Why don't you tell your boy's about your audition, Rachel." Santana said giving her a warm smile. Rachel quickly perked up wiping her tears out of her eyes.

"I got the part."

"That's great hun." Finn said in an enthusiastic voice rubbing his hand up and down Rachel's waist giving her another kiss in her hair.

Blaine and Nick sat in silence during dinner not even giving a quick glance at each other. After dinner though Blaine finally had the courage to speak up, "I still don't see why you kept that grudge on the New Directions for so many years. I mean, it was just a stupid Regionals trophy." Blaine hung his head back and let a small laugh out.

"That was our first Regionals and all I wanted was a damn first place trophy to go with it." Nick said sitting in his chair with crossed arms.

"While I was with Kurt at lunch yesterday he told me that was their second Regionals and their first Regionals win. They didn't even place the year before." Nick just sat there silently as he thought about it.
