Author's Notes: Part two of Chapter 5! Yay!

Kurt woke up to the sound of a loud "FUUUUUUU-" then "AMELIA CHRISTINE!" and then an "UUUUUUGHHH! THE BOWLS JUST KEPT FALLING!"

He was wrapped tightly in Blaine's arms and his face was dried out from last nights tears. Blaine hadn't budged and he knew it would be hard to get out of bed. He inched towards the end of the bed but was immediately pulled back by a still sleeping Blaine, who groaned and tightened his grip. He rolled his eyes but settled back into Blaine's chest.

Kurt half-slept for another half our, when Blaine finally stretched out his arms and turned onto his back. Kurt turned to face him and took his hand.

"Morning sunshine." Blaine said, still sounding half asleep.

"Good morning you." Kurt poked his nose then gave it a small kiss.

"Have you been awake long? I'm sorry, I probably had you trapped."

"Not that long, love. And it's okay, I don't mind being trapped by you, it's comfy there." Kurt stroked his face and smiled. Blaine smiled back then stretched and yawned.

Suddenly the door burst open and Amelia bounded in with a large tray in her hands, filled with waffles with Nutella and strawberries, two smalls bowls with red jello, two mini bagels with vegetable cream cheese, two hard-boiled eggs and two glasses of fresh squeezed apple juice.

"Moooorning!" She said in a sing-song voice. "My insomnia is back so I decided why not make you guys a breakfast in bed. It sounded like a good idea at first but as I was putting the Nutella on the waffles I realized I shouldn't walk in on a couple in a morning unless I'm 100% sure they're not naked, but it was too late. Even if you were naked, I could dramatically toss the tray at you. But you're not, thank god, so, here!"

She set the tray half on Blaine's lap and half on Kurt's. Kurt's eyes widened at the food in front of him

"Amelia, this looks delicious!"

"Thank you! It's all made from scratch except for the Nutella. I just basically put together what ever I could find in the kitchen."

"Well, Meil, thank you so much! You really didn't have to!" Blaine said, pulling her down into a hug.

"No, really I didn't have anything to do. It kept me busy, so thank you." She replied, making her way to the door. "So, you know, enjoy your food and make sure you bring the dishes down when you're done so it doesn't mold. Then I'll have to kill you."

She left the room and Kurt gave Blaine a confused yet humorous look.

"She's always dramatic like that. Don't worry, she won't kill you. Well, at least I hope not, cause that would suck." Blaine said, winking.

"Oh, eat your food you big bafoon!" Kurt said, poking his cheek with a fork.

"Ah, but you love me!" Blaine laughed and took a bid spoonful of Jello.

"That I do."

The afternoon was spent touring their neighborhood. Blaine and Amelia led Kurt through their home streets showing him everything. He saw their old school, favorite restaurant, Amelia's favorite store (which sold only sundresses and jewelry), Blaine's favorite store (a music store that sold exotic instruments), the local playground and even their 'least favorite spot.'

They passed 'the spot,' which was a very small courtyard next to a big hotel, and Amelia immediately looked up at Blaine with wide eyes and gasped.

"BLAINE! DO YOU KNOW WHERE WE ARE?" She spat out.

Blaine's head shot up and his eyes also grew wide.

"Oh no!" He gasped, sounding repulsed.

"What? What is it?" Kurt asked, feeling a bit left out of this inside joke.

"This is the worst place in Brooklyn." She said all too dramatically.

"Why is the worse place in Brooklyn?" Now he was curious. It looked like a very nice spot. A small patch of green among all the concrete.

"Well…It was… it was Uncle Nigel and Aunt Dawn's tenth anniversary party and it was at this hotel and…" Amelia began, but made a disgusted face and shook her head. "No. I can't. Blaine, you tell him."

"I can't!" He whined, but Amelia gave him death glare. He rolled his eyes but continued. "It was Uncle Nigel and Aunt Dawn's party about five years ago and our older brother Cooper brought his girlfriend, Maya. Well, Amelia and I thought it would be a good idea to sneak out of the party and find them and spray them down with silly string but…we were…wrong." Blaine stopped and bit down on his knuckle and he looked at Amelia. She laughed and he groaned and she waved at him to keep going. "We found them drunk making out in a peony bush."

He turned away and buried his head in Amelia's shoulder. The both let out loud dramatic whines, causing a few passerby's to turn their heads.

"That's…that's awful." Kurt said, rubbing Blaine's back for support.

"ISAWAFUCKINGNIPPLEKURTANIPPLE!" Amelia babbled out, clutching her brother's arm. She let go and caught her breath and tuned to Kurt. He voice went quiet and she nodded. "And that is why this is the worst place in Brooklyn."

They arrived home just in time for dinner, and as they walked in the smell of food lured them all to the dining room with their stomachs growling. It had been a long day in the heat of late June and the only thing they ate after breakfast was a gelato from a place that was deemed by Amelia as having 'the best gelato in all of New York. Maybe even the world. But probably not Italy.'

The dining room was set with fine china and a full feast of roasted chicken, every vegetable under the sun and of course, Blaine's favorite food, biscuits. The feast looked like something out of Hogwarts and Kurt's mouth began to water.

Clara Anderson walked out of the kitchen carrying a pitcher filled with Diet Coke and smiled at them

"You're home! Perfect timing! Now I have a chicken here and Kurt, I didn't know what vegetables you like so I just kind of made them all. So, take a seat you guys, Dad will be in in a second, he's just out playing with Hecate."

Hollace joined them inside just as they were all sitting down and everyone started at their food. It was a pretty quiet meal at first, as everyone was famished and focused solely on eating the delicious food on their plates. Clara put her fork and knife down and smiled.

"Okay, you guys," she started, sounding very enthusiastic, "I know I was planning on waiting until we could Skype with Cooper, but I have some exciting news!"

"Oh god, you're not pregnant right?" Amelia asked, her expression suddenly dropping. Her father gave her a stern look, but then turned his head to Clara.

"No, Amelia, I'm not pregnant. At least I don't think so." Clara answered sounding cross.

"Mom, what is it?" Blaine sounded like an eager puppy and he bounced on his chair waiting for her response.

"Well, Uncle Andy is having a benefit in New York, and he's asked me to sing one of his songs! And I said yes!" She answered, bursting with enthusiasm, and then letting out an excited squeal. Everyone cheered and Hollace pulled her into a tight embrace and quick kiss on the cheek.

"That's great mom! But what are you even gonna sing? It's kinda been a while." Amelia asked

"I know! I haven't done an opera in years! But It's only one song, and I how can I say no to uncle Andy?" Clara was grinning ear to ear and her anticipation was unmissable. She was squeazing her husbands hand and letting out small squeals of joy.

"So your uncle is a composer?" Kurt asked, cutting into the excitement. He was very excited for Clara, it was hard not to be. He just didn't quite know what was going on.

"Well, he's not our actual uncle. He's a very close family friend." Blaine whispered to Kurt, who nodded with understanding.

"Everyone, keep you calendars free for Sunday, February 6th at 7 pm, or you're all grounded! It's going to be at the Palace Theater, you know, where Phantom plays." She explained, "And you too, Kurt! Don't you think you're missing this!"

"Oh, no, Clara, I'm honored you're asking me, I'll absolutely be there!" Kurt felt a sensation off warmth in the pit of his stomach. He was considered a part their family. He didn't expect that, but he didn't want it to change. It may have seemed a bit fast, but he loved Blaine and the fact that his mother wanted to involve him in a major family event like this gave him a good vibe. Plus, it meant they all expected him and Blaine to stay together that long.

The dinner continued on with Clara telling everyone the one story everyone (but Kurt) could probably recite word by word: The story of her first big opera. She explained how her costume was stolen by the girl who she unknowingly stole the part from and how she made herself a new costume three hours before the show. Then, afterwards the man playing her love interest didn't show up and his understudy was a good five inches shorter than her. Eventually, the show went on perfectly, and she even recited her whole first aria for the whole dinner table.

Blaine and Amelia looked bored, as they'd heard this all over a million times. Kurt, however was in awe. Her voice was absolutely beautiful, it brought tears to his eyes. That's definitely where Blaine gets it from he thought, remembering the sound of Blaine's beautiful voice singing in that karaoke bar on their second date. The Anderson's were a remarkable family.

After a dessert that was just as delicious as the dinner, Blaine headed upstairs to get showered and ready for bed early. Everyone was exhausted and planned on getting to bed early. Kurt and Amelia sat on the couch watching tv as Blaine's showered. Hecate sat with her big head resting on Kurt's lap as she slept and he stroked her long hair.

"Ugh, there is nothing on!" She whined, scrolling channel after channel. She was about to give up when suddenly both her and Kurt's eyes grew wide and they yelled at the same time.

"Wait! The Wedding Singer!" They both sprung up and looked at each other.

"Hold on, you love this movie too?" She asked Kurt.

"Yes! It's one of the greatest masterpieces of 90's films!" He replied, "I know every word."

"I know every word too!" She squealed.

"Amelia, I think we're gonna get along just fine." Kurt said, as they settled back into the couch.

"You know, Cooper says this movie is an atrocity. His words exact. He said that the acting is 'lackluster', if that even makes sense." She scoffed and shook her head, but the leaned closer to Kurt and her voice got quiet. "But you know what, Coop is an awful actor. Really, he's the lackluster one."

They both laughed and Kurt shook his head. He had yet to meet the oldest Anderson brother, but he had heard the same thing from Blaine.

"And Hummel, if you ever tell Cooper I said that, I'm telling Blaine you have genital herpes." She threatened, pointing the remote at him as if it were a gun. He put his hands up in submission, and she gave him a sly smile.

"Oh this is my favorite part!" Kurt chirped, as the main character, Robbie, met his love interest for the first time.

He and Amelia quoted the whole part perfectly and laughed together at the funny parts. Yup, Amelia definitely aprroved of Blaine's choice. Kurt was awesome.

Blaine sat at their grand piano in the family room, mindlessly playing what ever came to is mind. He started with Fur Elise then somehow maneuvered his way to Summertime from Porgy & Bess and then to Animal by Neon Trees, and from there he lost track. He must have lulled his sister to sleep because he heard soft snores coming from the smaller living room by the stairs.

Blaine was playing Rosie from Bye Bye Birdie when he heard a voice behind him singing along.

"Life is one sweet beautiful song, when loves right then, what can be wrong? Life is one sweet beautiful song to me…"

Blaine whipped around, not expecting to hear a voice. He saw Kurt who was sheepishly grinning.

"You knew what I was playing?" Blaine asked, wrapping his hand around Kurt's waist.

Kurt smiled down on him and laughed. "It's a show tune, Blaine of course I  know it."

"Well, what about…" Blaine pondered for a second then turned away and placed his fingers on the keys of the piano. Kurt sat next to him as he began to play. He nodded, finally realizing the song and sang along.

"Your eyes, the ones that took me by surprise… RENT!" Kurt guessed, and Blaine nodded, moving on to the next song.

"Something has changed with in me, something is no the same. I'm through with playing by the rules of someone else's game… Wicked. Seriously, Blaine, this is insulting."

"Oh, come on, just keep playing the game." Blaine said, nudging him. Kurt nodded and Blaine moved onto the next song.

"When the dance was done, when I went my way, when I tried to find rainbows far away. All the lovely lights, seemed to fade from view, they were you, they were you, they were you. The Fantasicks?"

"Damn it! How did you get that?"Blaine asked, slamming a chord in protest.

"I'm a musical theater major Blaine. I know my shit." Kurt laughed as Blaine shot him a frown. "Keep going, keep going."

Blaine continued on again and not even three seconds into the song, Kurt got it.

"Now, maybe now, we'll start learning how. We can build a beautiful city, yes we can, yes we can…Godspell!"

"You little genius." Blaine scoffed, then started the next song. Kurt sat for a while, his face blank. He couldn't think of the words. He'd heard the tune, or so he thought. He sat a bit longer and slumped his shoulders. No, he definitely never heard this song. He looked at Blaine who had a sly smile.

"You give up yet?" Blaine smirked.

"No!" Kurt almost yelled. He frowned and then slightly nodded. "Okay, yeah."

Blaine laughed a loud victory laugh and began singing along.

"…She said my boy I think some day, you'll find a way, to make your natal tendencies pay. You'll be a dentist…Little Shop Of Horrors. Ha! I found the one song you don't know! I wiiiin!" Blaine cheered and Kurt couldn't help but laugh. "I'm only kidding, love. I really only kept going so I could hear you sing more."

"Oh shush!" Kurt playfully slapped him, then rested his head on Blaine's shoulder. "Okay, you win. Now play something we both know."

The both knew it was getting late and they had to be up early to head back into the city in the morning, but neither of them cared. As Blaine played the first few notes of L-O-V-E, time just didn't seem to faze them.

End Notes: Okay, and there you have it! Kurt's first time at the Anderson home! It's just a cute little chapter and I had fun writing it =)
