Author's Notes: Chapter End Notes: Big finale next week!

The crowd in front of the stage is grown and everybody is dancing to the Indie band that's currently performing. They squeeze their way through the crowd to get a better view but it's pointless because everyone is at least three inches taller than Blaine. So they concentrate on the music and on dancing which should more called to be pushed around. The band is really good and both are completely into the music. As they start playing a slow song everyone pairs up and Kurt puts his arms around Blaine's neck. They sway slowly together and Blaine hooks his chin over Kurt's shoulder and puts his arms around his waist.
"I'm so happy you're here with me", Blaine says into Kurt's ear. Kurt feels his heart swell and drops his head on Blaine's shoulder. He feels entirely happy in this moment and wishes the song would play on forever.
"I wish this weekend would never end."
"It has only just begun."Blaine says and as the song ends he pulls Kurt out of the crowd to buy something to eat because as big as the lollipop was it hasn't sated.
They sit on a bench and chew their tacos as Kurt suddenly notices something. "I lost my phone! Oh no, it was in my right pocket and now it's gone!" Hectically he gets up and ransacks his pockets.
"Where did you have it the last time?"
"I don't know at the tent I guess. Oh we have to find it Blaine. Practically my whole life is saved on this cell phone!"
They go back to their tent and scan the surroundings what's kind of difficult because its already dark and the camping area isn't alighted like the concert area. They can't find it and Kurt is near to tears. They decide to check the little lost and found station Blaine remembers to have seen on the way. They run around for nearly 20 minutes till they find it and to both of their amazement someone handed in Kurt's cell phone.
"It's unbelievable!", Kurt kisses his cell phone and presses it against his chest. "I have it back. I would have never believed that there still exist such honest people who hand in a cell phone at a festival." Kurt unlocks it to see if it still works. "Hey, what's that? Someone has changed my screensaver." He laughs at sight of the photo of a relatively good-looking blond guy with a sign in his hand and shows it to Blaine. "Looks like the honest finder of my phone hasn't handed it in without an intention."
Blaine eyes the photo and frowns as he reads out what the guy has written on the sign:

"I found your phone, can you find me ;)"
"Sweet idea, right? I'm sure he thinks the phone belongs to a girl." Kurt puts the phone back into his pocket. "Though he actually should have noticed it doesn't if he has looked through my photos, what ever." He takes Blaine's hand and they walk back to the stage.
Just as they arrive a new band comes on stage and they line up in the crowd. They start to play and Blaine is immediately enthusiastic. He spins Kurt around and they dance till they can't feel their feet anymore. The music drums through their body and they enjoy every minute of the band's performance. After the last encore Blaine squeezes himself through the slowly thinning out crowd to the front of the stage to meet the band. Kurt follows him and they head off one of the band members. Blaine talks enthusiastically with him while Kurt stands in the background and watches the rest of the band cleaning up the stage and putting away their instruments.
"Hey Kurt, Matt says they have a gig near our home next week. We totally have to go there." Kurt nods absentmindedly because he suddenly has the feeling that the drummer who packs up his drum set is somehow familiar.
"Sounds great Blaine, but do you know the drummer from somewhere, too?"
Blaine turns to glance over to the drummer in the stage who approaches towards them. And the moment Kurt sees Blaine's face fall he suddenly knows exactly why the guy seems familiar, it's the same guy like the one on the screensaver of his phone.
"Hi I'm Collin." The drummer says as he reaches them and shakes Blaine's hand. He turns towards Kurt and something in his look changes. "It's nice to meet some fans", he says and winks at Kurt.
Could he recognize him from the photos on his phone? Kurt watches Blaine to see if he witnessed the wink and judging by the hateful look he shoots Collin he has.

"Actually we were just about to go, we've already talked with Matt for a while." Blaine lays a hand on Kurt's back and turns around to go.
"No, wait! Maybe we could have a drink together and you could at least tell me your name after I rescued your cell phone.", he addresses everything to Kurt like Blaine wouldn't be standing right next to him.
"Um...", Kurt looks helplessly back and forth between his now furious boyfriend and the drummer who gives him heart eyes. He knew from the start the phone he has found belongs to a boy after all. "Thank you, especially for handing in my phone but", he grabs Blaine's hand clenched hand and interlaces their fingers, "we really have to go now, we have already planned something else for our night." And with a provocative wink he turns around and they walk off.
"One second longer and I would have punched this asshole in the face. Have you seen the lustful looks he gave you", Blaine snorts with anger. "That was the most awful band my ears ever had to listen to", he grumbles.
"Calm down and you can't blame the good music that the drummer really was an idiot who's his looks directly deflected off me by the way. You're very sweet when you're possessive." Kurt turns to kiss his cheek but Blaine grabs his face and kisses him hardly on the lips. "You're mine alone", he grumbles sulking when he breaks away. "I'll use the restroom quickly you go ahead and we meet in front of our tent okay?"
"Okay", Kurt says and walks towards the camping area. Without the lights from the stage and the booths he stumbles through the tent rows. He nearly get stuck at a tent peg while he tries to figure out which of the tents is theirs. Was it blue or red? Damn in the darkness they're all looking black. Finally he is sure that he stands in front of the right one and he reaches down to unzip the opening but suspiciously noises get through the material. Loud groans, heavy breathing and the rustling of sleeping backs. Someone is trying to rob their tent! Kurt yanks the zipper open. "Don't you dare and touch my Marc Jacobs jeans!"
Two very confused and very very naked persons stare towards Kurt. The women tries hectically to cover herself with a sleeping back and the guy glares at him like he'd want to murder Kurt any second.
"O-oh my god! I-I'm sooo sorry! I mixed up the tents. J-just go on and pretend I was never here!" He fumbles with the zipper and tries to close the tent again but the man just shoos him angrily away. Kurt stumbles flushed and disorientated through the grass.
"Kurt? Kurt? Where are you?" Blaine's voice sounds through the night.
"Blaine? I'm over here!" Kurt runs towards the direction the voice came from and as he spots Blaine he throws himself into his arms.
"Hey, there you are. What happened? You weren't at our tent."
"I know, I couldn't find it and I mixes up the tents and thought someone would want to steal my favorite jeans but in reality I interrupted a couple having sex. That was so embarrassing and I think the guy wanted to kill me."
Blaine laughs loudly and hugs Kurt tightly. "Well, then lets see if your jeans is still there."
Blaine opens the zipper and they crawl into the empty tent together.
Their bags are untouched and both take out their bath utensils and get out of the tent again to walk to the washrooms.
"You know what, we really should exchange numbers now, in case we loose each other again we can call us", Blaine says and holds out his phone for Kurt to type in his number.
"That's a good idea. We should have done this much earlier", he takes the phone and hands Blaine his. "But on the other hand we came up with very creative ways to contact each other at home, right? And I would never want to miss out on your poem beneath my window."
"Hey, it took me a long time to find a rhyme on hunky."
Kurt giggles and they change phones again and walk towards the washrooms. The building is divided in a section for the showers and one for the sinks and toilets, in front of both were huge waiting queues. They line up for the sinks and nearly wait 20 minutes before it's their turn. Both brush their teeth and Kurt hurries through his skin care regimen, luckily Carole remembered to put the things in his bag. Once they're finished they go outside to check if the waiting queue for the shower is shrunken but on contrary it got twice as long.
"How many people want to shower at two o'clock in the middle of the night?!", Kurt curses. He sighs and doesn't know what to do. He definitely needs to shower he must smell terribly after all the exhausting dancing and Blaine surely doesn't want to cuddle in a sleeping back with a sweaty boyfriend. Helplessly he lines up in the waiting queue.
While they wait he spots far off the beaten track a rusty pipe with a shower head mounted on top. The open air shower is surrounded by a bamboo screen fence and there was absolutely no waiting queue in front of it.
"Maybe we should just use this shower", Kurt laughs and points to the open air shower apart from the wash rooms.
"Yeah, it looks adventurous!" Blaine says and drags him in the direction of it.
"Blaine, I was kidding!"
"No, let's try it. Otherwise we'll stand in that queue till sunrise. Look some pipes run into the ground I'm sure there's even warm water."
Kurt looks perplexed at Blaine. He seems to be serious.
"Come one step inside. I'll be on guard though I'm sure no one will even recognize you, it's so far away from the lights of the washrooms. Blaine pushes Kurt inside with an encouraging smile and closes the bamboo door behind him.
Kurt stands startled in the middle of the shower unsure if he should really strip bare outside in a shower where only a bamboo screen fence separates him from Blaine.
He takes a deep breath and begins with a fast thumping heart to take off his clothes.
"Um, Blaine?", he asks in a high-pitched voice.
"Yes?"
"Could you maybe hold my clothes? I'm afraid I'll make them wet if I hang them over the screen fence."

"S-sure", Blaine answers and hopes Kurt doesn't hear him gulping quietly. He takes the pile of clothes Kurt hands him over the screen fence and tries not to think too hard about the fact that his gorgeous boyfriend stands now completely naked only inches away from him in the shower.
He tries frantically to focus on something else than the splashing sound of the water and the soft surprised noises Kurt makes as the cool water hits his skin. But as hard as he tries, his thoughts always wander back to Kurt standing naked under the shower. He watches Kurt feet shuffle around because the wall only covers him up to his ankles and sometimes an arms peeks over the screen fence when he shampoos his hair. Blaine kicks a stone to distract him but the very realistic pictures in his mind just don't disappear.
"You were right, the water has a very pleasant temperature", sounds Kurt's voice from inside the shower.
"G-good", Blaine manages to form one word with a raspy voice.
Kurt turns off the water and Blaine hears the water dripping down his body.
"Um, c-could you pass me my towel?"
Blaine gets on his tiptoes and hangs the towel together with Kurt's fresh boxer briefs, of course they're Alexander Mc Queen and his pajamas over the bamboo door.
Blaine listens to the rustling of Kurt putting on his clothes and tries to compose himself again. But he isn't prepared for the sight of a slightly flushed Kurt with wet hair that sticks in every direction as he cracks the door cautiously open and steps outside the shower stall.
"Your turn", he says and holds the door open for Blaine.
Blaine steps inside and Kurt closes the door behind him. He takes off his shoes and kicks them outside. He hurries to strip off his other clothes and hangs them over the bamboo door. Kurt takes them so they don't get wet and Blaine turns on the tap.
"Shit! Oh my god!", he screams as the water jet hits his bare skin.
"Blaine are you okay?! What happened?", Kurt asks frightened.
"Didn't you say the water is warm?! It's fucking freezing!"
Kurt laughs."It was warm when I showered, I swear."
"Then you used up everything. Oh gosh, this is going the be the fastest shower in my hole live. It's like ice cubs would come out of this shower head."
At least the shock of the icy water cools down his flushed skin and prevents him from an embarrassing situation later with Kurt caused by any suspicious outlines in his pajama pants.
Suddenly something metallic thuds on the ground.
"Aaaah, this can't be true! Now the shower head broke off the pipe as well. Who's idea exactly was it to use this shower?!"
Kurt laughs loudly and some people from the waiting queue in front of the washrooms stare warily in their direction.
Blaine turns off the water and takes thankfully the towel Kurt hands him over the door. He puts on a pair of loose boxers he always sleeps in in summer nights and a light white tee. The night isn't very warm and he huddles himself shivering in his towel and steps outside.
"Aww, my poor baby-cakes, c'mere I'll warm you."
Blaine cuddles in Kurt opened arms and puts the towel around both their bodies. Kurt rubs his hands up and down his back to make him warm. Blaine clings close to Kurt's side to absorb his body heat as they walk back to their tents.
"At least I have an excuse now to cuddle with you all night", says Blaine while they both crawl into their sleeping bags.
"You don't need an excuse for that, silly."
Blaine shifts closer and pillows his head on Kurt's chest.
"Mmh, I love the smell of your shampoo." Blaine closes his eyes and enjoys the feeling of Kurt's fingers combing through his almost dry hair.
"G'night", Kurt whispers and they share a goodnight kiss that's still a little bit minty from the toothpaste.
They lay silently in each others arms and listen to the noisy going-ons outside. There aren't playing bands anymore but some people have brought their own instruments and their loud laughter and never ending jam sessions echo over the open space. It sounds like they'd sit directly next to them in the tent and play and sing in their ears.
"Hmpf", Blaine grunts after about 30 minutes and turns on his back and stares upwards with wide opened eyes. "Kurt? Are you still awake?"
"No, this peaceful and sleep-soothing lullaby outside has already lulled me to sleep, of course I am."
They try for another 20 minutes to fall asleep but its pointless. Blaine grabs his phone and sends Kurt a text message.

4:03
I can't sleep :(
Theses perturbators should finally stop playing.
Very tired B.

4:05
You're right someone needs to go outside and have a serious talk with them. I'm sure the adorable little bow ties on your boxer shorts will convince them.
Enjoying the festival feeling at night, K.
4:06
And why are we talking over texts when were lying inches apart?
K.

4:08
Hey, these are my favorite boxers and I have them with bow ties in every color. They have a great legroom and are very airy for hot summer nights.
4:09
Oh and I'm just checking if the number works in case you get lost while spying other couples having sex again ;)
Look out for the guy, he might kill you on your next encounter, B.

Kurt kicks Blaine scandalized as he reads his text and crosses his arms sulkily over his chest. Blaine giggles and tries to soothe him by kissing his upper arm.
"We're never talking about this super embarrassing incident again and I will never tease you about the fact that you choose your underwear because its 'airy'."
"Agreed", Blaine says grinning. He unfolds Kurt's arms and snuggles up against his chest.
"Damn, I think I will never get the image of those boobs out of my mind", Kurt whines desperately.
Blaine laughs against his tee and writes one last quick text before he puts his phone aside.

4:15
Cute nacho :*

Kurt laughs out loud as he reads the text. "I really like your pet names but Im not sure if this one is a compliment. How did you came up with 'nacho'?!"
Blaine looks confused at him and reads the message he has sent on Kurt's phone screen.
"Oh", he giggles,"actually that should read good night, not cute nacho. I guess the spell checker played a joke on me cause I typed too fast. But nacho is always a compliment. I love mexican food!"
"Well if that's the case then good night my sexy salsa", Kurt answers and pecks Blaine on the lips. Blaine laughs loudly and he pulls Kurt's arm around his waist so that he can be the little spoon. Blaine intertwines their finger and is so comfortable surrounded by Kurt's strong arms, his back pressed against his chest so he can feel his heartbeat and Kurt's steady breath ghosting over his hair that it almost doesn't matter that they sleep for less than 2 hours that night.
Blaine is drifting in and out of sleep the whole night and as the sun rises close to 6 o'clock he shifts uncomfortably around in his sleeping bag. The noises hasn't died down the whole night and Blaine isn't keen on spending another wakeful night like the last one. He has already worked out a plan how they'd spent a peaceful night and how their weekend is going to be even more amazing. He looks over to Kurt who has still his eyes closed but deduced from his permanent shifting he's half awake. Blaine moves closer to him. He brushes gentle kisses on every spot of Kurt that sticks out of his sleeping back. Kurt hums softly but doesn't open his eyes. Blaine nestles his head in the hollow between his shoulder and his neck and leaves Kurt time to wake up properly. As Kurt blinks his eyes open, Blaine lifts his chin and places a sloppy and uncentered kiss on his lips.
"G'morning", Kurt mumbles with a sleep filled voice.
"Morning beautiful, I'd ask you if you have slept well but I know you sadly haven't."
Kurt smiles wearily and stretches himself. Both get out of their sleeping bags and unzip the tent entry to let fresh air inside.
"How can a tent turn from an icebox at night to a sweat bath in the morning?" Kurt rubs his eyes and steps outside.
"What do you think about if we'd pack our things spend the remaining days of our weekend at a less crowded and especially more quiet place? It would be just the two if us." Blaine realizes that he formulated his question a bit ambiguous. " I-I mean then we can sleep better, without the music, you know?", Blaine stutters.
"Um", Kurt looks a little doubtful but laughs, "and where is this lonely place?", he asks grinning.
"My uncle owns a piece of land not far away from here. It's a little forest and right in the middle of it is a lake. We could set up our tent there and go swimming."
"Sure!", Kurt flings his arms around him and spins him around in a little happy dance. "And by the way I trust you enough Blaine not to think that you'd take advantage of me in a lonely dark forest, silly. This is the best weekend of my life."
Blaine hugs him cheerily back, overjoyed to make his boyfriend happy. They change clothes in the tent one after another, before they collect all their things and pack them back into their bags. They buy enough food ahead for the next two days and Kurt can't keep Blaine from buying a package of rainbow bubbles.
Kurt wants to take down the tent with the argument that if he can't set one up than he can at least take one down. Blaine furls the sleeping bags and watches Kurt fighting with the flexible tent poles. He chuckles to himself and hurries to free his cursing boyfriend out of the tent tarp and pole chaos he entangled himself in. They stow everything away on the backseat of the convertible and hit the road.
