Author's Notes: I feel like I should write a big apology for not updating this sooner, but I guess you guys were expecting it? But still, I really am so, so sorry, and I swear I'll try to post the next chapter in like, two days. In the meantime, I hope you like the new chapter! <3

"Kurt," he hears a soft whisper against his ear before feeling dry lips against the corner of his mouth. "Hey..."

Kurt tries to open his eyes, but it's so nice and warm and he really doesn't want to. He feels cozy and comfortable and the hand petting at his hair feels really, really nice, so he whines and shifts in his position, resting his head on something that feels and smells way better than his own pillow.

There's a muffled giggle; another kiss. "No, hey, you-"

When he finally blinks his eyes open, slowly and lazily, it's for the sight of Blaine's face so, so close to his, smiling lips almost touching his own. His eyes are big and golden, heavy with something Kurt's never seen on them before. The proximity makes Kurt's skin tingle, and he closes his eyes again, just to open them once more and see that Blaine is still right there, just as close.

"Hi." Blaine leans in, joining their foreheads together.

"Hi... What-?"

"You fell asleep."

"Mmhm-" Kurt brings a hand to Blaine's face, touching his cheek lightly and letting his thumb wander under the boy's left eye. "For how long?"

"You dozed off about half an hour ago," Blaine's eyelids drop and he leans his cheek against Kurt's hand, voice going dreamy. "Couldn't bring myself to wake you up."

"Oh?" Kurt grins. "Why's that?"

Blaine turns his face to press a quick kiss against Kurt's palm, then presses his cheek against it again. "You looked so peaceful. It was adorable."

Kurt's heart all but melts at Blaine's words, at the way his voice sounds so rough and low, at how he closes his eyes and rubs his cheek against Kurt's touch like it's purely out of instinct. "Yeah?"

"Mm-hm." He opens his eyes, eyelashes huge and beautiful. "I had to, though. Didn't know if you had curfew-"

Shit. Shitshitshit.

Suddenly Kurt feels completely awake. If it's already past midnight – and oh God, why did he waste his time sleeping, why didn't Blaine wake him? – his dad is going to be so worried and Kurt is so, so screwed-

"Oh, God- what time is it?"

"It's, um," Blaine opens his eyes, seeming reluctant, and grabs his cellphone from where it remained abandoned on the arm of the sofa. "Ten-fifteen."

Kurt lets out his breath, surprised to realize he's been holding it. "Oh, thank God."

Blaine smiles, leans in. "Good." He takes Kurt's bottom lip between his, kissing him lightly and just a bit dirty. "Because I'm not done kissing you just yet."

The next day of school comes surprisingly fast.

"Ok, ok, I need details. How was it? How was he? Did he kiss you?"

Kurt looks around before closing his locker, sending Mercedes one of his death glares. "Shhhh! Are you crazy?" He hisses.

"Sorry, sorry! But oh my God, tell me!"

She's jumping up and down on her heels, and Kurt can't help the giggle that escapes his throat. He leans down and she's looking up at him expectantly when he says, "Oh, Mercedes, it was perfect."

She claps her hands twice, beaming excitedly.

"And yes." He says, hugging the book he is holding, pressing it against his chest, and starts to walk to the direction of his next class.

"Yes, what?"

He bites his lip, looking down and away from his friend's gaze. "Yes, he kissed me."

"Of course he did." She bumps their shoulders together. Her tone is light, happy – a lot like Kurt feels himself. "Come on, now – I demand details."

Kurt has always been glad for having Mercedes in his life, but he has never been as thankful for it as he is right now.

During lunch, they sit and eat and Kurt talks and talks and talks; tells her everything. All the details. From the way he was freaking out over what to wear to how he has fallen asleep literally on Blaine's arm. He tells her about how they didn't talk about Rachel or about why Blaine is in the closet or why he is dating a girl when he is so obviously interested in Kurt, and Mercedes just nods and listens through it. Not once does she say something negative, and Kurt is so, so glad.

Instead, she just squeezes his hand and gives him a small smile. "I'm so happy for you, Kurt."

He feels his chest warm up, a smile of his own forming on his lips.

And then his eyes catches Blaine.

He's sitting at a different table today, but with the same group of jocks, Rachel still under his arm. His eyes, though... They are fixed on Kurt; and when their gazes meet, Blaine gives him a huge, beautiful smile, one that gets right under Kurt's skin and makes his fingers shake. Mercedes must have sensed it, because she follows Kurt's sight and looks back at him, grin widening.

She lets go of his hand and turns back to her food.

"Oh, honey... You are so screwed."

Kurt doesn't even answer, because he knows she's right. He just keeps looking, smiling because Blaine still hasn't looked away, heart stammering when the boy sinks his bottom lip between his teeth and looks down for just a second before looking back up, face slightly reddened.

But then... Oh God. He looks down immediatly when Rachel looks right at him, the look on her face almost scary. He sees the girl slapping at Blaine's arm and then Blaine is shaking his head and leaning in to kiss her, and Kurt's heart stutters and hurts and breaks at the sight.

He shakes his head, shrugs, and stands up.

"Let's go?" His smile feels forced, his eyes too heavy. But he grabs Mercedes' arm anyway and pulls her with him, away from their table and away from Blaine.

Glee club is a mess. They don't have enough members (him and Mercedes, Artie, Finn, Tina, Quinn Santana and Brittany – that's eight. Jesus, they need twelve), Mr. Schue doesn't have a clue of what he is doing and what was once something fun and enjoyable, is now boring and stressful.

Kurt misses the old glee club, how they used to be...

At least I still have Mercedes, he thinks, grinning a little to himself.

It was a hard day, and he is exhausted when he arrives home (late, it's so late, why is he only getting home now?) and finally throws himself on his bed, closing his eyes and letting the weight of the day drop from his shoulders. His cellphone beeps with a new text, and Kurt whines a bit even though he's thankful he doesn't need to move much since it's on his pocket.

Kurt unlocks the screen and smiles when he sees it's a text from Blaine.

From Blaine: I didn't get to talk to you today...
From Kurt: Yeah. :(
From Blaine: I wanted to.
From Kurt: You could have, you know.
From Blaine: I know. I'm sorry.

Kurt hesitates before sending his response, but takes a deep breath and hits send.

From Kurt: What happened to "I like being your friend, I don't care what people think?"
From Blaine: ...It's different now.
From Kurt: What is? You liking being my friend, or you not caring what people think?
From Blaine: You're not *just* my friend anymore, Kurt.

Kurt beams. He can't help it.

From Kurt: Oh.
From Blaine: Kurt?
From Kurt: Yes.
From Blaine: I really liked kissing you.
From Kurt: ...Me, too.
From Kurt: Kissing you, I mean. I really liked kissing you, too.

Kurt bites his lip and hides his face on his pillow, feeling slightly light-headed and incredibly happy.

From Blaine: And you look lovely when you sleep.
From Kurt: Thank you.
From Kurt: ...Blaine?
From Kurt: I want to do it again.
From Blaine: I... Good. Yeah. Me, too.
From Blaine: God. Kurt, you have no idea.

He is sure that if his heart beats any faster, he's going to die of a heart-attack.

From Blaine: I know it's late, and I know we have school tomorrow, but... Can I come over?
From Kurt: Do you even know where I live?
From Blaine: Just give me your address, I have a GPS.

A few seconds, then-

From Blaine: Please?
From Kurt:
Of course. Text me when you're here.

Kurt doesn't know what's got into him, but he just couldn't say no to Blaine. Besides, his dad and Carole are travelling and Finn sleeps like a bear who just started to hybernate, so it's not like someone will see them. But still...

He gets the text from Blaine, letting Kurt know he's there. As quietly as he manages, he climbs down the stairs and opens the door to find Blaine hugging a thin coat around himself, looking cold and almost sheepish, a small grin on his face.

Kurt motions for him to be quiet, whispering "shhh," and grabbing his hand to guide him towards his room. Once he closes the door behind them, he clutches Blaine's shoulders and makes him sit on his bed, not saying a word when he grabs a blanket from his wardrobe and wraps it around the boy's shoulders.

"Are you crazy? You're freezing, Blaine." He murmurs, afraid to wake Finn even though he's completely sure he wouldn't hear even if they started screaming.

"I'm not," Blaine whispers back, hugging the blanket around him. "It's not even that cold, and I wanted to see you."

His voice breaks a little at the end, and Kurt is sure that the look on his own face is one of pure fondness and affection, giving away everything he's feeling in the moment. He doesn't care. He smiles at Blaine instead, reaching for his hand and melting when Blaine slowly intertwines their fingers together, only to pull Kurt close. Suddenly Blaine's face is right there – pink full lips only a hair's breadth away from his own; there's a hand behind his neck, tugging him closer, then lips chasing his own. It starts off sweet and gentle, but quickly Kurt's mouth opens to allow Blaine's tongue in and they're making out, slowly and sensually.

They kiss and kiss for what feels like hours and somehow end up lying side-by-side on the bed, the blanket abandoned somewhere in the middle of the bed, Blaine's hand on Kurt's waist and his curls between Kurt's fingers. Their lips stick together a little when they part, Kurt rubbing their noses together.

"Kurt," Blaine gasps, blinking his eyes lazily. "We- we need to talk."

"Yeah," Kurt closes his lips on Blaine's once more, breathing in. "Yeah, we do."

You're a sweetheart, thank you so much. <3

I feel I should be mad at you for making us wait for so long. I was going crazy here, you know? *sigh* But I'm not. I mean, how can I be mad after so much fluffy and Klaine? :D I feel like I'm going to say this a million times, but they are soooo cute!! *-*

Oh honey, you always put the biggest smile on my face. Thank you so much! LOVE YOOOU! <3

This was really good. Kurt and Blaine spending time together has got to be one of the cutest and best things ever. I love that Kurt is able to talk to Mercedes about what is going on between him and Blaine and that she is excited for him. I look forward to seeing what happens next.

I'm really glad you liked it! Thank you a lot. <3
