Kurt and Blaine went through the next day in the same way, get up, spend as much time together as possible, a long, heartfelt goodbye, go to school separately, get through the day away from each other, go to glee club, pretend to hate each other, then go home and be as close as possible. On Wednesday, to the boyfriends' delight, Quinn wasn't in school, which gave Blaine the perfect opportunity to ask everyone to come to theirs for a Glee sleepover, where he could tell them that he and Kurt are still together without it being overheard by anyone. Surprisingly, the day passed quite quickly, and before they knew it, they were in the choir room. Kurt and Blaine sat next to each other, knowing that Quinn wasn't there to question anything, but they didn't act too couple-y, as the door was still open. Blaine told Kurt the plan, who smiled and nodded, saying that it was a good idea, and that he was glad that they didn't have to hide from some people. After Finn and Rachel had sung a duet, Rachel had sung a solo, Santana, Brittany, and surprisingly Mercedes had sung together and Mr Schue had gone on about Sectionals, asking if Kurt and Blaine had decided on a duet yet, the meeting was over. As Mr Schue left the room, Blaine and Finn stood at the front, stopping everyone from leaving.
"Hey guys, we just wanted to say that there's going to be a Glee sleepover kind of thing at our place this Saturday! Who's in?" Finn said.
Everyone grinned and nodded, starting to make plans for the weekend. Once everything was sorted, they all left and went home. As soon as Kurt, Blaine and Finn were through the front door, they all collapsed on the couch.
"I'm surprised that nobody said anything about the fact that I'm still living here" Blaine yawned, cuddling up to Kurt.
"They probably didn't want to pry, or were too busy thinking about the sleepover" Kurt replied, wrapping an arm around Blaine instinctively.
The other two hummed and they sat in silence for a while, exhausted after the day. Blaine shifted so that his head was in Kurt's lap and Kurt ran his hand over Blaine's hair, leaning down to kiss his forehead every so often.
"Do you two actually know which song you're going to sing for your duet?" Finn asked" Because when Mr Schue asked you got all quiet and mumbled something about having a couple of ideas"
"We honestly haven't thought about it" Blaine answered. "We've been caught up with school and trying to act like we're not together, then when we get home we're focused on just being together and making up for the time that we lost during the day"
Finn nodded sympathetically. "It really sucks that you guys have to go through all of that"
"I hate doing it, but there's nothing I won't do to keep Blaine safe" Kurt said, looking down at Blaine lovingly. "He's my everything"
Blaine looked up at Kurt and smiled. "I love you"
"I love you too" Kurt murmured. "How do you think we should tell them?" he said, directing the question at both Finn and Blaine.
"Maybe we should just wait until everyone's there and just...come out with it" Blaine suggested.
"No, I meant like, what should we say" Kurt rephrased.
"If I were you, I would tell them the whole truth" Finn said. "Tell them about how you got together in the first place, how you had to hide it, how long Blaine's been living here, why he's living here, why you broke up, why you got back together, why you went public and why you were ‘broken up' again the next day and why you never told them. I know that it's a lot to tell them, but I think that they deserve to know the truth. You don't have to, but that's what I would suggest"
Kurt and Blaine looked at each other and nodded.
"You're right, Finn" Kurt said. "When did you get so smart?"
Finn grinned at Kurt, then frowned as the two boys got up and walked towards the stairs.
"Wait, did you just say that I was stupid?"
"Figure it out, Finn" Kurt called over his shoulder as they ran up the stairs.
Kurt and Blaine burst into their room, laughing as they collapsed onto the bed together.
"Aww, gotta love Finn" Kurt giggled, cuddling up to Blaine.
"He's certainly lovable" Blaine laughed, leaning down to kiss Kurt.
"More lovable than me?" Kurt gasped.
Blaine wrapped his arms around Kurt and turned them on their sides so that they're facing each other. "Nobody is more lovable than you" he whispered, leaning in and pressing their lips together in a sweet, gentle kiss. "You're so lovable that I fell for you without even knowing it"
"What?" Kurt asked, a smile tugging at his lips. "You fell for me without even knowing it?"
Blaine blushed and buried his face in Kurt's chest with a groan. "I may have had a crush on you before we got together" he admitted.
Kurt grinned and wrapped his arms around Blaine, pulling him in as close as possible. "Aww, you are adorable!"
"You're hot, okay!" Blaine burst out. "Of course I had a crush on you, every girl in the school does, and I'm into guys, so...you're just hot, okay!"
"You had a crush on me" Kurt said, raising an eyebrow.
"Well, I had a crush on you then. Now, I love you. I love you so much that it hurts, but it's the best pain in the world. I would do anything just to keep that pain in my life, because as long as it's there, that means that I love you, and I have you in my life. I just...I just really, really love you okay"
Kurt's eyes swam with tears as he looked over at Blaine. "I love you too" he whispered. "And I always thought that you were a kind of dorky cute"
"Dorky cute?" Blaine asked, confused. "What does that even mean?"
"You know, like Spencer Reid on Criminal Minds. He's super smart and he wears glasses, but that just makes him even cuter than he already is. Then, he takes off the glasses and he's like....woah"
"You have a crush on Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds?"
"That's what you took from that?" Kurt gaped. "I'm complimenting my boyfriend, and all he says is ‘you have a crush on Spencer Reid from Criminal minds?' I love you too honey"
"No, no, I didn't mean it like that" Blaine said frantically. "I was just shocked. So you're saying that I'm cute with the glasses but hot without them, and you think that..."
"Smart is sexy" Kurt finished for him. "I love how smart you are. And yes, I think that your glasses are adorable, but without them, you're the hottest guy I've ever seen"
"The hottest, huh?" Blaine smirked.
"The hottest" Kurt confirmed, nodding.
"Well, in that case..." Blaine took his glasses off and threw them to the end of the bed.
Kurt giggled and shifted so that Blaine was underneath him. He leaned down and crushed their lips together in a fiery, seductive kiss.
"I know that Finn's just downstairs -"
"Then we're going to have to be quiet" Kurt winked, cutting Blaine off. At the same time, Kurt leaned down and Blaine leaned up, meeting in the middle.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kurt and Blaine walked downstairs, Kurt's arm around Blaine's shoulder and Blaine's arm around Kurt's waist.
"Hey Finn" they grinned, keeping their eyes on each other.
"Hey guys" Finn smirked, looking up at them. "Have fun up there?"
The two boys snapped their heads round at Finn, gaping at him.
"How did you - how -"
"Keep it down next guys" Finn laughed, cutting them off.
"I told you to be quiet!" Kurt hissed, whacking Blaine's chest.
"You weren't exactly the quietest person in the world either Kurt" Finn said, laughing at the blushes starting to fill their cheeks.
Kurt and Blaine looked at the ground, trying to think of anything to make the situation less awkward. They could have said anything and there would be less tension.
"So , Spencer Reid huh?" Finn said, raising an eyebrow at Kurt.
Huh. It could get more awkward.
"Shut up Finn!" Kurt blushed, hiding his face in Blaine's shoulder. Blaine rubbed his back and bit his lip to stop himself from laughing.
"Do I have competition then?" Blaine asked, smirking.
"No competition" Kurt grinned, lifting his head. "First of all, he's fictional. Second of all, he's got nothing you baby"
They two boys smiled at each other before leaning in for a kiss. Finn laughed as he walked upstairs, only to come running down to seconds later. He tapped Blaine, who was still kissing Kurt, on the shoulder.
"You forgot your glasses" he said innocently, flashing them a smile before running back up the stairs, cackling with laughter.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Before they knew it, it was Saturday, and the Glee club were gathered in the lounge. Kurt and Blaine were in their bedroom, preparing themselves for what they were about to tell them.
"You ready baby?" Blaine asked, looping his arms around Kurt's waist.
"Ready" Kurt replied, leaning in and kissing Blaine, his arms snaking around his neck.
"Come on, let's go" Blaine whispered, pressing one more light kiss to Kurt's lips.
They left their room and walked downstairs, entering the living room where everyone else was. When they walked in, everyone stopped and stared at them, their expressions clearly showing what they were thinking. Awkward.
Kurt and Blaine sat down with everyone else, Kurt on the floor and Blaine on the couch.
"Guys, we have something that we need to tell you" Blaine said, his voice raised slightly to get everyone's attention. "There's a reason why everyone's here today but Quinn. There's a long story to this, and I feel like I've been keeping the truth from you for too long, and it has to stop. Around 3 months ago now, Kurt approached me, trying to get me to sleep with him and go out with him. It didn't work, and I told him that I wanted to be with someone that I loved and that loved me back for my first time, and I thought that that was that. But it wasn't. Not long after, I was asked to tutor Kurt in Chemistry, and I said yes. I guess it all started from there really, we started to genuinely enjoy each other's company. One night, we both ended up at the same work party that we'd been forced by our parents to attend, and Kurt got drunk. I took him home, and he asked me to kiss him. So I did. The next day we talked things over and decided that we wanted to see each other. Things were going great, apart from the fact that we had to hide it from everyone because - well, because I'm me and Kurt's Kurt. After about a month and a bit of us dating, I discovered that Kurt was only dating me and slept with me because he had a bet going with Quinn. I caught him talking to her about it and about the money. I broke it off and I was absolutely miserable, because even though I was hurt beyond belief, I still loved him. Then, a week or so later, he I got a note in my locker from Rachel saying that she wanted to run some song ideas by me in the auditorium, so I went, but when I got there, not only Rachel was singing, but Kurt too. We talked it through, and as it turned out, I'd actually caught him telling Quinn that he didn't want the money, and that he wanted to stay with me. We got back together and decided to go public with our relationship. Well, it was more like Kurt suddenly decided to go public in the middle of the hallway as a surprise" Blaine chuckled. "Quinn was absolutely livid, and told me that she was going to break Kurt and I up, and said some other stuff too. After that, I went to the cafeteria, and that's when we told you guys about us. That night, Kurt got a text from Quinn saying that if Kurt continued to date me, she'd get him thrown off the Cheerios. Kurt stood his ground and said that he was head cheerleader and he would get her thrown off before she could even think about doing the same to him, and that he was going to date me whether she liked it or not. Then, Kurt went upstairs and called her, and they had an argument. It got to the point where Quinn said that if Kurt didn't break up with me, then I would get hurt. He told me what she said, and I told him that we would simply have to go back to pretending that we're not together, because he doesn't want me to get hurt, and neither of us want to break up again or let Quinn get between us. We're in love and don't ever want to be apart"
As he finished his speech, Kurt walked over to Blaine and sat in his lap, cuddling close to him. "I love you so much" he whispered.
"I love you too" Blaine replied, kissing Kurt gently.
Kurt kissed him back, his eyes squeezed tightly shut and his tears dripping down his cheeks.
"Baby please don't cry" Blaine whispered as they pulled apart, wiping the tears away with the pad of his thumb.
"I'm sorry, it just kills me to think that if she finds out, she'll hurt you, and I just...I couldn't take that. You have to promise me to never be alone, okay? And all of you have to promise me that if Quinn ever asks to speak to him alone, you don't let her" Kurt said, turning to look at the rest of the club. They all nodded, shocked by what they'd just heard.
Kurt cuddled back up to Blaine, wrapping his arms around his neck and resting his head on his shoulder. Blaine's hands rested on Kurt's hips, just strong enough to make him feel safe.
"So, Sectionals" Rachel started, breaking the silence in the room. Everyone started talking about Sectionals, drawing attention away from the two boys.
"Thank you" Blaine mouthed at Rachel, who simply nodded and smiled back.
The rest of the night went smoothly, and Kurt and Blaine sat on the couch cuddled up the entire time, falling asleep that way and waking up in the same position the next morning. As they said goodbye to the New Directions, Kurt and Blaine stood out on the porch, arms wrapped around each other, waving goodbye to their friends. Once everyone had gone, they shared a light kiss, smiling at each other before they walked back inside hand in hand. They were so happy and caught up in their own little world that they didn't see a blonde girl in a baby doll dress glaring at them from across the street.
Kurt and Blaine went through the next day in the same way, get up, spend as much time together as possible, a long, heartfelt goodbye, go to school separately, get through the day away from each other, go to glee club, pretend to hate each other, then go home and be as close as possible.
